Personally I imagine Ghetsis and Hydreigon more as a noncon/dubcon duo but I will refrain from going into that in more detail cuz you mentioned Reader being into it in the first ask!

He pondered what your game here was. Unlike you, he would not allow himself to relax. Whatever act this was… Your seemingly genuine affection and acceptance… He would see through it. Volo was fully aware of many things.

⭐️ … Except how genuine you were being. Your apparent affection and love for him never lessened, nor did it seem forced. Your feelings were genuine. He was bewildered by this. While Lysandre knew that his actions had been for your best interest, he had not expected you to feel similarly. Well, he assumed that was how you felt. You only asked that he unbind you. He did so, readying himself again for a possible violent outburst, but it never came. Instead, you hugged him tightly and mumbled out about your love for him. He was shocked into silence. This… This was not at all a predicted response – especially with how you had tried to run quite literally just before. Part of him remained on edge this was fake, but the other more desperate half just wanted all this to be real.

🟥 It was easy to arrange and done with little hesitation. Giovanni was quite used to taking what he wanted with little question. So when you, a trainer who started opposing Rocket, had denied him what he wanted. Well, he simply took matters into his own hands. It was a bit of annoyance having to deal with you constantly disrupting his plans and making him look weak to his underlings. You even had the gall to deny his offerings of joining his organisation, stating you were above his criminality. He wanted to scoff. Trying to run from him… How utterly useless that had been. You were taken deep into one of his safehouses as he debated just what do with you when you woke up. Screaming and crying would be annoying to deal with usually, but some part of him was excited to see you at such a low point.

🟥 That was not to come, however. When you finally woke up, you were a bit shocked, yes, but seemingly calmed down once you saw the Rocket boss. You struggled against the cuffs that trapped your wrists to the headboard. He cocked a brow when you asked him politely to unlock you. Giovanni only replied by leaning over you to intimidate you and threaten that you were not in a place to make demands. But, instead, you tried to rain up to meet his lips. The older man was shocked momentarily before chuckling. Oh, what was this? Were you attempting to fawn over a fight or flight reaction. Fascinating. There would be no complaints from him on such things. You could not pull a fast one on him, either. He would be careful to observe just what you were doing and why.

🟥 Though, he was stunned to see you never faltered. This apparent love you felt for him was real enough. You were insistent enough that he let you have some freedoms that he did eventually relent. When he finally did, there were no true escape attempts. At worst, you tried to follow him out whenever you felt that he had failed to give you adequate attention, but it was not really an attempt at fleeing and regaining your lost freedom. He was fully aware of what had happened to you. This was not his first time observing such a thing, but he supposed he quite preferred it when it was someone that he had an interest in over some random target that his group brought in for whatever reason. Due to your strong feelings for him mixed with your desperation to stay near him, it was not hard to convince you to take his offer to join Rocket this time around. Whatever oddities had brought about the situation, he could only be happy that it brought the exact results he wanted.

steven and you have known each other for a long time. i imagine you stumble across him much like may/brendan in the games: either finding him in a cave or needing to deliver a message.

his metagross is infatuated with you and your pokemon. steven probably falls in love with you when he sees you conversing with his partner like it's a human.

steven calls your name as he enters your hotel room. you had accompanied him on a geology run to find more stones for his collection. "are you asleep?" he asks, maneuvering around the small kitchenette, and stopping in his tracks as he hears your laughter. there you sit, on your bed, rubbing metagross' head and beaming. "you know, your trainer takes such good care of you," you coo. metagross barely fits in the room, let alone on the bed, but he perches there anyway and closes his eyes as he practically purrs. steven leans against the wall, trying to fight back a blush to no avail. seeing you like this made him weak.

in a way, he's like a crow. give him shiny objects (i.e. gemstones or evolution stones that you find as you're walking around) and he'll practically kiss you on the spot. this is also his love language: be prepared for lots of random rocks, usually heart-shaped or in your favorite colors, that remind him of you.

he's also definitely a good cook. even though he's the son of the owner of a multimillion pokeyen company, and definitely grew up with maids and butlers who would drop everything to make sure he was comfortable, he enjoys having a streak of independence and will absolutely make dinner for you no matter what.

having said that, let him be a gentleman. he likes taking care of people and gets a little hotheaded when the people he love won't let him do so. it also reminds him a little too much of his childhood if you try to do everything for him. let him learn that relationships are a give-and-take, however slowly.

when it comes to events like the team magma vs. team aqua debacle, or lysandre's takeover of kalos in the gen vi anime, steven doesn't baby you. rather, he encourages you to accompany him, and does his best to inform you of everything he knows. he knows what you're capable of, and although he does try to defend you as best he can, it makes his heart flutter watching you be the badass he knows you are.

"everyone, leave the city!" you shout, using your partner pokemon to guide civilians away from the floods ravaging sootopolis city. steven pauses at the entrance to the cave of origin, and the two of you make eye contact. "you'll be safe?" he asks. you grin and give him a thumbs-up, and in a spur of confidence, he comes back over to you and kisses you. "we'll be right here. all of this will be over in a matter of seconds." you roll your eyes and lean back in to kiss him one more time. "let that kid be the hero," you tease. he nods and meets up with wallace and the others, still watching you—not because he doesn't trust you to be safe, but because it's making him feel a certain type of way, watching you take command with the rain and lightning framing your figure.

WALLACE

unlike steven, who fell into his feelings over time, the moment wallace came across you at a pokemon contest and watched you perform, he was absolutely smitten. i imagine he approached you and immediately asked you for your contact information, trying to frame it as wanting to watch you perform again in the future.

he doesn't try to hide his feelings, during the crush phase and while you're dating. be prepared for extravagant romantic gestures, all with the aid of his pokemon.

wallace runs up to you and takes your hands the moment he sees you exit your home. "my darling, come with me! i have something you just have to see." even if you didn't want to (which, i mean, how could you say no to that smile?) wallace takes you along anyway, finally stopping at the shoreline. milotic and luvdisc are waiting at the water, and when wallace gives them the go-ahead, luvdisc uses attract to send hearts all along the water. milotic uses ice beam, and all of the hearts freeze, floating there in the shape of a larger heart. wallace lets go of your hand, dramatically walks to the shoreline, and strikes a pose in front of his ice sculpture. "you...have captured my heart!" his performance has drawn the attention of many beach-goers, but you're too amused by his display to care.

speaking of romantic gestures, i think wallace would be an acts of service/quality time type of person. whether it means dropping everything (even gym matches, much to every trainer's chagrin) to show up at your contests, making sure his training sessions match up with openings in your schedule, or simply walking with you in silence along the shore, wallace will always be there for you.

he's a very busy person, needing to meet both pokemon league and contest expectations. make sure you help him learn to balance these two, and make time to rest with him on his occasional days off. he'll appreciate every second of it!

wallace tries his best to help you out with chores, cooking, etc. but he's hopeless in many of these regards. it comes as a big surprise, considering how thoughtful he is, but somehow even vacuuming or putting away laundry leads to an even bigger mess. he gets frustrated when this happens, so find a chore that he can do without making a mess (something like dusting, taking both of your pokemon teams out on walks, or shopping)!

i imagine wallace is a stubborn arguer, in the sense that he views arguments as a win-or-lose situation. this happens frequently, so make sure you help him learn that arguments are supposed to be constructive, not destructive.

you pinch the bridge of your nose, unable to make eye contact with the irritating peacock of a man standing in front of you. "wallace, we really need to talk about this," you say. "you can't keep on overworking yourself to the bone." "but it's my job!" he exclaims. "can't you understand that? i mean, you're a coordinator, too. you know how much time these things take up!" "i know, i just..." you're too tired to argue. you drop your hands down to your sides and shake your head. "i don't like seeing you this exhausted. i want you to be happy. that's all." wallace opens his mouth to say something else, and you brace yourself for another argument that will last for hours, but he lets out a deep exhale and comes to hug you. "i'm sorry," he says instead. "i know that you care, and that's why you keep telling me to stop making so many plans. i'll try to make some time for me...and for you, of course." you smile and hug him back. "that's all i want. thank you, dear." he kisses the top of your head and pulls away. "let me make it up to you. i'm sure we can get a good table at a fancy restaurant!"

"BAD GUYS DESERVE HAPPY ENDINGS, TOO!" Except It's A Random Person's Essay Opinion On It.

So I've legit lost count the number of times I've seen people say that villains deserve to get a fairytale Happily Ever After and whatnot. But here's the thing ... I always get the vibe that they mean it as in it's always rainbows and butterflies (it's not) where the good guy gives the bad guy a Heel-Face Turn.

No, no, no. Stop right there.

While I don't entirely mind there being complicated af relationships going on in stories — OG Fiction or Fanfiction, it matters not — we really need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. How about instead of having the bad guy having a Heel-Face Turn or whatever we just flat out have The Bad Guy Win? It's actually been done before, and quite a lot, surprisingly. Here are a couple of examples down below:

Pokemon USUM where the big bads from Gen 1 to Gen 6 (Giovanni, Archie, Maxie, Cyrus, Ghetsis, and Lysandre) won in an alternate timeline.

Most of the SAW films with a vast majority of the traps.

Batman Arkham Knight actually succeeded in doing this by having Scarecrow reveal who Batman truly is ... ... ... ... ... TO THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD VIA LIVE TELEVISION.

Injustice: Gods Among Us played with this when The Joker manages to successfully brainwash Superman into killing Lois Lane. This one's pretty triggering, though, so head's up.

Dragon Ball Z plays with this as well for the timeline Future Trunks is from Cell actually won due to everyone except for Bulma and Trunks dying by the hands of Androids 17 + 18 and Cell.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers played with this for the Rangers actually lost the ability to morph permanently via the morphers they had at the end of the series thus having to obtain the Zeo Crystals to morph into the Zeo Rangers and not the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Mortal Kombat 11 plays with this if you choose Shang Tsung over God Liu Kang and have it to where Raiden and Fujin are mindless servants.

Something similar happens in Injustice 2 where you choose Superman over Batman to where the latter becomes a mindless servant of the former (thus scarring the young Supergirl).

With all of that being said, why not have it to where the villains do have a happy ending but not in the way we expect it. Get your readers emotionally invested to where they're not happy with the outcome kind of like when Sephiroth killed Aerith out of nowhere in the OG FF7. Or, if you really want to, make it to where they get a kick out of it kind of like how The Joker makes Batman laugh at the end of The Killing Joke. Just have the bad guy win every now and again.

Holy shit, i loved the Dean Lysandre piece! Igot a few questions:

1: how big are the eggs? Because if the dean wants 10, how big is the poor human gonna be? (might be drawing this over the weekend hehe)

2. Would the dean take pleasure in showing off his little human wife or would he keep his little treasure all to himself like the greedy dragon man he is?

3. Would he allow the reader to keep being a student or would he just write her off as "graduated early with honors" and then just move her into his home?

4. Would the dean have a special little area in his office for his human? Hidden by curtains, but behind is a very round bellied human asleep on a plush round bed with her school papers scattered around her?

5. Would any drama happen on school grounds with royal dragonic families being pissed that the dean married and breeded with a human? Any dramatic acts of petty revenge??? (does the dean find himself being very protective of his human????👀)

6. Is there any very domestic habits the dean and his human would do? Of course between fucking like rabbits, what kind of sweet doting things would the dean do??

1 -> With other dragons they tend to show only when they're carrying a whole clutch of eggs at one time, since they usually carry them until they’re close to hatching to keep them safe before they've laid. Surprisingly, even though it's incredibly rare for dragons and other species to breed (at least when they're not hiding it from the world) dragons have a very sophisticated egg process that translates well to other species, even if they're not of the egg-laying variety. While a human or other monster could carry several eggs at once, knowing Lysandre he isn't going to want you to strain yourself--so he'll likely only have you carry one at a time if you're going to carry it to near full-term, which would probably look no different than a normal human pregnancy from the outside.

But! The other way, and perhaps the preferable way, is a process known as "long-term laying"--in which he would deposit several eggs at once, fertilize them, and then have you deliver them within 1-2 days. The eggs are much smaller and easier to pass at this stage, probably not any bigger than a cue ball, and once they've been laid they'd be buried at the bottom of one of the gold piles in his hoard for at least two moon cycles. Although it's usually only practiced in this fashion by the nobility nowadays, it's an ancient form of preservation for the draconic species that's saved quite a few bloodlines from going extinct and has been practiced by all manner of dragons. The eggs will grow to be about the size of an ostrich egg within those two months, but after that period has passed their growth will stagnate and they'll go into a sort of hibernation state, which they can stay in practically indefinitely in nearly any environment until they’re unearthed and incubated into hatching. Lysandre himself was the product of this kind of egg process, as his bloodline and dragon species was declared extinct for about 400 years before his egg was recovered and he was hatched under an adoptive couple. So, with you being human, he would likely encourage you to go that route so as to monitor your condition better and make it easier for you to endure the birthing process....though that doesn't mean he won't eventually let you try incubating them longer, if only so he can spend more time rubbing that pretty, swollen belly you've got <3

2 -> Greed is definitely a symptom he suffers from and he wants to keep you all to himself, but he knows better than to be like that when you're not at all used to the possessiveness of dragons. Yes, he'll get grabby and greedy and spill filth into your mouth as he humps you throughout the night, but in the day you're completely free to roam the grounds and visit whoever you like, talk to your friends, go out for drinks, and play sports or do your little hobbies on your own. He trusts that you'll keep your interests as a couple in mind and he really doesn't worry about that aspect too much, the only thing he does do is jump at the chance to frighten off anyone who might push your boundaries too far and try to make a move on you. He loves knowing that when you're out and about without him everyone still knows you're his partner, and he's more than comfortable with that....though, when you get home, he's usually got plenty of reasons to remind you of whose bed you're sleeping in every night. Very, very carnal reasons.

3 -> You can certainly keep being a student if you like; he lives on campus for the majority of the year, so it's no bother at all to make time for each other if you still want to attend to your studies. He'll constantly (and secretly) be cancelling his meetings and saving paperwork to do late at night so he can spend quality time with you between classes, but if you're over the whole school thing or you're eager to graduate he'll pull the strings you need. Most of the professors at MC can be bribed pretty easily anyways (it's a monster thing) and it's not considered that unethical in monster society, so a few favours and gifts here and there and you'll have your honours diploma in your hands by the end of the week. And then you're allllllll his.

4 -> He does! Since he lives on campus, he's got a semi-secret entrance in his office that leads down into the depths beneath the school, where he keeps his hoard tucked away in the MC vault. Although he does own an apartment in the staff living quarters, he's got his own private living space down there that would be perfectly comfortable for a human with a few touches here and there. You wouldn't be down there all the time since there's no natural light or sunlight, but it's the perfect place for you to rest when you're carrying your eggs and an ideal spot to keep close to when it's time to lay them.

5 -> Absolutely! Dragons are dramatic creatures and you should expect to witness some rather flagrant displays of jealousy and snobbery while you’re in the Dean's care. Challenges to duels, attempts at bribery, and marriage proposals to your draconic lover while you stand right next to him are all things you unfortunately have to be prepared for. But Lysandre has nearly perfected the art of stoic rejection over his lifetime and will turn each and every one of them away, although his politeness will wane not with the stubborn ones, but the ones who turn their ire towards you or try to turn him against you with false rumours and lies. That's when he'll offer to fight their proposed duel in your stead, and each and every time he does their champion will turn and flee with their tail between their legs at the very thought. Draconic duels are to the death, after all, and next to nobody wants to fight for their life against a Drakon--especially not when he's so angry he's grinning from ear to ear.

6 -> Lysandre loves walking with you, so a daily stroll is often how he expresses his affection. It's never too strenuous (and if you get tired, he'll be carrying you) but there's always something interesting to see on your way, whether it's a new patch of flowers you never noticed or an adorable frog hopping around the pond. But if you're up for it, he's always eager to take you flying--it's a common form of affection for dragons to fly side-by-side, it's even considered to be a sign of good luck to see a dragon couple flying together overhead. And he can reassure you that you're safe on his back, he'll even wait for a windy day so he doesn't have to flap his wings as much in case you get sick from the motion. Aside from that, his love languages are usually gifts and acts of service, so brewing your tea for you, crafting little golden gifts and trinkets, and carrying or flying you places are some of the more common ways he shows affection. And kisses, of course! Lots of big, sloppy dragon kisses <3
