M!ik Mafia AU Chapter 16 Thoughts

There are a lot of things, events rather, to talk about in this chapter, but this specific panel intrigued me the most.

Who could be the person who paid Dali (sensei) to give that information to Alice?

WHY would that person want Alice to side with Babel?

Of course, that person is a woman, as seen in the panel.

Let's all go back to Chapter 12 where Iruma visited Raim (sensei) on a Cabaret to ask her about human trafficking. As Asmodeus walked out, Raim-san followed him.

When I first saw this, I just thought that maybe they met on a certain mission in the past. Or Alice has visited the cabaret before while being on undercover.

But have you ever thought that MAYBE they know each other because of Asmodeus Amuryllis? In the original manga, even in the anime, it was revealed that Raim-sensei is one of Amu-chan's best students. Since this is a canon parallel world (Osamu Nishi said that if demons didn't exist, this would be Iruma's life), it's highly possible that they also have this teacher-student relationship.

Now, jumping onto the next chapter, Chapter 13 showed us a flashback of Alice's childhood and how Amu-chan was also a member of the national police.

Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances, rumors said that Amu-chan collided with a criminal organization and died during the incident but no body was found.

Don't you think this sounds a bit familiar? Doesn't this parallel Asmodeus' current situation?

As soon as Asmodeus hesitated to fulfill his mission (kill Iruma), the National Police immediately acted, sending assassins to Asmodeus' apartment. In other words, they want him dead. For what? For not shooting Iruma straight in the heart? Isn't that a bit unreasonable to kill someone?

Following this, as per chapter 16, Dali-san said that the National Police was planning to burn the whole auction down.

He KNEW that Alice would come. It is stated in the chapter that the amount of gunpowder was enough to burn EVERYONE in the building, that includes Asmodeus.

What if the same tragedy happened to his mother, Asmodeus Amuryllis?

What if the rumors about Amu-chan colliding with criminals were made by the national police themselves? What if they were never criminals in the first place?

Considering that her body has not yet been found, what if all this time, she's alive, hidden by a certain organization?

Maybe Babel's? Maybe Delkira's? (considering that she's a thirteen crown)

With that, it would come down to my main theory of this chapter.

What if Amu-chan wanted Asmodeus out of the National Police and bring him into Babel instead? It's possible that she's the one who paid Dali-san for the safety of her son.

That's just a theory, though.

Quand j'ai vu l'acte de déportation, ma première réaction était "Non ! Il va déporter Iruma ?! Faut faire quelque chose !". Mais mon ami pense que cet acte de déportation n'est pas pour Iruma mais pour Henri. L'une des théories populaires c'est que la femme d'Henri soit humaine et personnellement je crois en cette théorie. Et si ça se venait à savoir, ça risquerait de compromettre sa place dans les 13 couronnes. D'ailleurs il a aussi ajouté dans la démonologie, plus précisément dans le livre d'Enoch, Azazel était devenu un ange déchu car il avait des relations avec des humains. Donc si la théorie est vraie et que tu vois qu'Amelie est tombée amoureuse d'Iruma, tu te dis que putain c'est génétique ! XD

Mais plus sérieusement, ça nous permettrait d'enfin avoir un flashback sur Henri et sa femme et je le veux désespérément !

When I saw the deportation act, my first reaction was “No! He's going to deport Iruma?! We've got to do something!" But my friend thinks that this deportation act is not for Iruma but for Henri. One of the popular theories is that Henri's wife is human, and I personally believe in this theory. And if this were to become known, it could threaten his place in the 13 crowns. Moreover, he also added that in demonology, more specifically in the Book of Enoch, Azazel had become a fallen angel because he had relations with humans. So if the theory is true and you see that Amelie has fallen in love with Iruma, you'd think it's fucking genetic! XD

But more seriously, it would finally give us a flashback to Henri and his wife, and I desperately want that!

Mini theory!

Humans are the first sinners. Saying this I bet Iruma can and will come up with nasty stuff. Just unnerving truely bone chilling scares. I mean he’s practically lived through that terror already.

I feel like Clara will shine through a lot with this arc. The Magi battler has proven they can make huuuge magical apparatuses so my guess is they’ll either transform their battler room or make a seperate “house” either way Clara’s toy toy room magic will be very helpful.

I really hope to see Schenell senpai and Yabashi kun working with Clara. I think these 3 will be focusing on the creation and upkeep of the haunted house while the others will focus on decor and scares and acting.

I hope we see Ali miss him. He would be fun addition to scaring the students.

Also this latest chapter. Iruma was walking around a bit meekly, it could be because he’s getting shy from all the hype the students were giving… but I think its a way to hint we mayyy be seeing wicked phase Iruma again ahaha! Because normal Iruma being scary on purpose? Sorry I can’t see it.

Now my question is will this be a long arc? Or will it be fairly short? Character development wise I can see Iruma really learning about leadership. Hes got a team of 6 now. Now my next question is. If this is gunna be a fully fledged arc… who will be the antagonist? We’ve had new characters introduced recently so i dont think anyone new… and infighting within their group doesn’t sound right. Everyone seems to be happy and getting along.

So that leaves the other battlers sabotaging them. Ooooo I’m very excited.

Theory time(spoilers for Chapter 393)

At the end of Chapter 393 we see a door that is stated to be a door to another world. This could be a replica of the door but knowing how this world works it most likely isn’t.

This gate to another world could be to the “human world” and there is a high chance it is. But let’s go off the chance that is isn’t to “human world” then what is it. Well with the clues around this door it could be the door to there afterlife. So what makes me think that it is to the afterlife? Well the flower that is on the door. We been seeing this flower a lot and we do know what it means. It means “If I lose you, I bid the world farewell”

This flowers seems to be a romantic flower that symbolizes that even in death I love you because you are my world. We have seen this flower also be around one character and that is and that is Azazel Merize or also know as Azazel Henri wife and Azazel Ameri mother. When ever a scene of her is shown she is surrounded by these flowers.

We also never hear Ameri mention her mother and Henri is the one to only talk about her. So I believe she is dead and maybe Ameri has never met or remembers her mother so that is why she never talks about her.

Which is why I believe that the door is not to the “human world” but is instead to the “afterlife”.

I had (4 years ago?) a 200k words wip fic in my head that was basically the abnormal class from Fav Anime Mairimashita Iruma-kun being bnha’s 2A

So, it’s a canon thing that Aizawa expeled a entire hero class before the the anime’s 1A

Keeping in mind he expeled everyone on the first day guess who went “free real state”??? THATS RIGHT I just put the entire abnormal class as general students that didn’t get into the hero course

I’m pretty sure I had an entire arc of them meeting before UA and Iruma inspiring the others to try to be heroes

Unfortunately none of them had clean school history so they didn’t get to go to ua’s hero department… or any other good hero school tbh

But fear not!! They were going to be heroes even if they had to train by themselves, just having access to ua gyms and nurse would already be a more help then otherwise

Ofc, as I wrote before, aizawa gifted a entire class vacancy

So sports festival it is

They would have absolute dominate, showing not only personal talent but also their teaming up abilities

I vaguely remember having more them 3 scenarios of how the maze team game was going to go on the second part alone

Ofc the 13 would get to the tournament stage too… rip B class hero students lmao

All of this with Iruma being quirkless, of course I did need the whole secret indentity thing

In mairimashita iruma-kun the main character has a ring, who has a spirit/conscience and is able to eat energy and helps iruma use magic

Translating this to bnha was:

Sullivan has a energy manipulation quirk and tells iruma he made the ring carry a copy of his quirk, but it’s a secret because the technology is so op (lie)

In this case I made Alikred (ring spirit), be a ex-villain boss who was victim of a quirk (?) and was stuck in a ring, but Alikred’s quirk was a kind of vampiric copy quirk so the ring can be used like Sullivan’s (the grandpa’s) quirk as long as he eventually charges i

Eventually Delkira would get his mind back and slowly start to be able to use his shadow form, of course to get to that point iruma would have had to eat some very specific quirk energy (it gives the victim quirk exhaustion) like some shapeshift quirks and idk I can’t remember the details

(I haven’t read the manga in 3028832 months but I’ve been pretty sure alikred is the missing demon king since he got his name)

Once they got into the hero course Aizawa would go nope not my problem and somehow get rid of them and kalego-sensei would be put as their home-room teacher rip him

When they get in their second year is when canon 1-A gets there… everytime someone pities Aizawa for his hellions he thinks positively “at least it’s not the demons from the abnormal class”

Baal seems more of a “operates in the background while acting good in-front.’’ Type of character.

I don’t think he is the type to suggest himself as demon king. So that means Sabro is still in danger… But! Dad Sabnock gave Baal a weapon in exchange for his family’s safety. What is the weapon for? Looking at the newest manga cover

Its obvious it’s powerful enough to kill the highest ranked demons. So does that mean Sabro being demon king was a random fleeting idea? I don’t know. Any ideas on that?

Baals ambitions. He said he wanted a netherworld that has returned to its origins. Technically that means there will be no demon king right? Or will Baal use Sabro as a placeholder king?

So... Now that Baal has "authority that rivals the great three" after the goddess support, have we considered that he probably could suggest Sabro as a oficial candidate for Demon King and people might run with it? I'm pretty sure he had commented on this idea waaay back, so... Yk. Just thinking.

Not that I believe will actually happen, but I think is an executable plan. He now got the people on his side, the backup power, gave a big public speach about letting the memory of Derkila go and find a new king already. It's really just a matter of how much more he need to manupulate the narrative. Although, coming all this way to not suggest yourself as a candidate is way too dicy. Sabro is not that gullible anymore to help with some of his ideals... Is he? (Baal looks like a expert manipulator tbh, so yeah prob)

I'm really curious to where we're heading with this. I didn't love some of the parts of the Deviculum arc, but it did got me intrigued. Although I hope the next arc is another big school arc, it feels like forever since Heartbreak somehow.

These are just some late night thoughts. I'm not rly the theorist type, I have awful intuition for these things, and am quite tired (beyond not remembering the plot 100% correctly even tho I just reread the arc). But I wanted to bet my cents on here.

Making iruma an incarnation would diminish Sully’s love. And thats just super poor writing.

I like that there was a prophecy about a leader coming from a foreign realm and the story following it. In the 1st episode when Opera questioned Sully on why he brought Iruma home, Sully with held info. There is definitely way more to the prophecy.

Now the question is. Was Iruma chosen? Or it didn’t really matter as long as a human became next ruler?

Man, I don't think this is a hot take but I REALLY don't like the theory's and don't want to be canon that Iruma is BLOOD related to Derkila or even his incarnation, I just think it would draw away form Iruma character and if that's the case, I would cry if Sullivan knew, like, he didn't want IRUMA but Derkila in some way.

and he is kinda already the "chosen one" so this would just be overkill in my opinion, not to say that I don't like him being part of the prophecy trope, my boi achievements feels separate from it so I don't even think about that much

But thankfully that doesn't seem to be the case, and Derkila it's alikred or just a part of him

Idk if I'm making sense but I like HUMAN Iruma, as much I love the fics where's he's like more demon, I still love my sweet human boi

Poro Analysis

i know this is an art blog mostly but on occasion i like to make it a graphic design blog. Behold with only the finest graphic design heres my poro unicorn lore board. Contains Spoilers for all of the Music Festival Arc, Heart Breaker, Deviculum

I mostly was curious on what irl lore of the unicorn got added or adapted into poros creation. I'll go more specific about my points Under the cut. Lord i hit undo on this editor and it erased almost everything i wrotei had to rewrite most of the post :',C

Ars Goetia Amduscias Demon

The Ars Goetia describes Amduscias taking the Appearence of a Unicorn, as well as: all manner of Trumpets and Musical Instruments to be heard but not soon or imediately, and can cause the trees to bend and incline according to the Exorcists will. And Amduscias is often described as the one playing or in charge of the music that can be heard through hell, as well as having a thunderous voice and being asscoiated with thunder.

Poro's Character greatly tracks with the music Theme. Poro is shown to be a Sound and Music Specialist, giving Critique and concerning Invites to Students after their Performances. Poro's own Claim to Fame was being Delkira's personal Musician giving a battle Concert with Delkira.

Poro's own Character Design with that Piano lookin Cut, Cello Detail and Pinstripe Suit, Notes on the End of those side hair pieces, and carrying a Conductor's Baton

Poro's yells loudly once getting to the School about the Crime, according to Poro, of re-allowing the use of the Royal One(talk about a thunderous Personality). Poro at the End of the Arc, once convinced, and painfully, for Wett defects with Kirio and Wett of the Six Fingers who answer to the Thunder Lord, Baal.

The last bit about being able to cause trees to bend, in the last panel Poro with Kirio and Wett are seen entering Brush to exit Babylus. The thought of such tall dark Brush, despite atleast the spaced out Center of Babylus's Campus, covering an Individual as large and tall as Poro for a masked Exit- no Clue if controling Trees is part of Poro's Powerset but still an interesting coincidence alluding back to Amduscias.

Qi Lin

I wish i had more historical/primaray sources to look from but alas modern feng shui websites will have to do

The Qi Lin has stories about the Rarity of its Appearences. The Qi Lin only showing up when a great outstanding Ruler is present in Time or when a great Sage(mostly Confucius mentioned) dies. There is also a legend that an Emperor of China was at the Yellow River and saw a Qi Lin on the Water, as it walked it cleared the River and Surroundings of all the Dirt and Stuff and the Emperor saw the Symbols on its Back and used them to create the first chinese writing System.

The Bit about the outstanding Ruler and Sage seems to match up well with Events and Characters. Poro being very Loyal, even to Poro's own Detriment, to Delkira as, when ever someone mentions Delkira most Demons admire Delkira in this demon Kingdom(?) Country(?).

It even matches with Iruma's Setup, Sully calling on Poro to see Iruma in hoping Poro will be impressed to rank Iruma. Plus we all know Iruma will become the next Demon King via the Prophecy, Poro is witnessing the fledgling King.

Not that all Qi Lin have to have exclusively one Horn but with the overlapping Traits of its Dragon like Features, Poro's Design echos back to the Qi Lin with Poro's Tail having a smooth Underside, spikey hairy Outterside, not to mention the clattering Heels in lue of Hooves

As an aside the Ming Emperor, Emperor Yongel, was gifted a Giraffe, that was called, equated to, and or associated with the QI Lin, very smart on the gifters part. I thought this was so funny given Poro's size, no clue if Nishi intended to it to match up with Poro but lucky for Nish-sensei it works out.(3rd picture of section of court painting of said Giraffe)

European Medieval Unicorns (i recomend skipping to the Poro paragraph and back reading this one)

Unicorns had a variety of many myths, associations, and metaphors attached to them but the Myths from Medieval Europe stand out most prominently here. Its been a variety of Animals over the Years, its Predessor being an Ox, the Re'em from the Bible, Goats,Asses (Donkeys), Horses, overall some sorta hoofed Creature and one Horn.

The first main Attribute to this Unicorn Myth is the Unicorn's Horn having Properties to purify the sick and ill, specfically treat and cure Diseases and Poison. Those who were able to successfuly find and hunt would gain such a treasure.

Later on it gained another Adaptation - The Unicorns purifying Power later becoming intertwined with the Purity of virgin Maidens, that a wild Beast would only allow itself to be near/in the Arms of a Virgin Maiden because the Unicorn could sense/was in awe of a Maiden's Purity(and or the maidens Purity matched that of the Unicorns), only for it to be a Trap, for a Group of Hunters to come out from Hiding to chase/capture and the slaughter with perhaps some Level of Immortality from the Unicorn for the Unicorn to not fully die after all that. Other versions of the story have the virgin naked and the Unicorn does some sorta sexual encounter with the Virgin.(i can't make this up)

Later the whole Saga became Metaphors for Sex/Love/Marriage. People being reigned in and tamed by the Love or down -badness of their Partner/Spouse as a wild Unicorn is tamed in the arms of a Virgin. People eventually settling down and finding Love. - no relation to the modern practice/notion of a 3rd person joining only in the sex lives of a married couple.

There also became a very Christian Metaphor to emerge along side the love Metaphor. The power/essence of Christ was reigned in by a virgin Mary, mirring that of a Unicorn being allured to a Virgin. That the whole Hunt of the Unicorn was a metaphor for the Crucifixtion and Ressurection of Christ, with wild purifying powerful Unicorn parralleling the Goddlyness of Christ, its Hunt for the Crucifixtion, Its slight immortality with the Ressurection from the dead, and circling back with the purifiying Power of the Unicorn being drawn as a Metaphors for Christ the Redeemer.( i also wish i couldve made this up)

Lets get back to M!ik

Seeing Unicorns being described as wild Asses seems stunningly on Brand for Poro, with Poro's Abbrasiveness at times and trying to beef with kids this coincidence is pretty funny.

Poro's major Arc of the Music Festival is coping with the Loss and the never return of Delkira as Poro regrets never getting the chance to technically date Delkira and never being able to see him again. It's all the more highlighted when in Sully's flash back when Poro, in a sour Mood expresses how its been too long since Delkira's Disappearance. Despite finding more Comfort with Change after Iruma and Co's Performance Poro hard flips back into Copium once Wett talks about reuniting Delkira. this all reads to me of Poro being wild all around unless Delkira is present to be the one true love of Poro ala wild Unicorn and love Metaphor.

There seems to be a bit of confusion about Poro's gender based on Poro's Presentation and specifically language Presentation. English Pronouns i can't really say anything about not least since the manga is being translated from Japanese with different Features and Practices- no doubt this gave the translators some trouble on how to adapt the wording, maybe a bit more cumbersome to other Languages than English. For whatever its worth Poro mentions being a Maiden and a Lady in EN fan translation.

tho i did start a paragraph about Poro's Gender this speaks more about the Purity and maiden Aspect of the Myth with the Unicorns sensitivity of/purity matching that of a virgin Maiden's. The comparison feels most matching when Poro apprehends Wett after Wett tailed Poro and Poro goes(paraphrasing), I was feeling a yucky presence a maiden can sense that type of stuff, it's alluded to it being Poro's ability to hear the heart beat Pattern and read that off to the overall Mood and intentions (based on action) of a Person, but it also matches well sensing/reading Wett and the Antgonists' unpure Intentions and drive up their villiany Status.

this part is a bit more head cannon-y: Poro was doing a bit of maiden sensing on Eliza when she says, we'll pierce you with the finest sound, and Poro's own Quest/Hunt for Love, a kindred spirit to Eliza's, finding Love for Love's sake.

another head cannony one is Poro's lines crying, that Delkira despite not giving personal attention to the women around him, Poro still says he did eventually(and like a simp still be wanting Delkira). If Poro was reading Delkira's Purity or smth. This line kinda reads a little ambiguously with that whole maiden/purity sensing idea in the background, vs the idea that Sully had a secret love child with Delkira and it became Iruma. lmao you heard it guys Poro believes in the Iruma is a direct descendant of Delkira theory, just kidding. Too bad Poro couldn't sense Delkiras heart beat when Delkira ghosted them at the office.

a little incongruous to the previous point of Delkira being the one and only for Poro- is Poro's Preferences(not for Men in general) but the inclusion of the younger Students in Babylus, who are, i guess, Boys and, as Poro puts it, young Men.(Poro is so desperate for hitting on high schoolers at this age.) Poro seems quite Old being Contemporaries with even Sullivan and with the Students of Babylus seeming rather inexperienced with Romance it seems to track with the Myth, the Unicorn is sensing the purity of/allured by Virgins, or at least, those who have far less romance Experience. This is Unfortunetly why i argue Poro's influence to be aligned with this Version of the unicorn Myth, Poro's odd combo of a romance thru-line despite hitting on kids, and lines with equating to be a maiden it feels like it matches beat for beat of the medieval Unicorn myth.(Unless the qilin also has meanings of sex love and romance which it might, i could use more details).

And now its time for the Jesus metaphor, Oh man you thought i was done.

Going back to the Christian Metaphor for the Maiden lures a Unicorn, only for a band of huntsmen to begin pursuit and the Unicorn gets Injured and kinda dies but then lives. The Europeans found a way to Pack in a Jesus metaphor with the Wild Unicorn and its purifying Power repping Christ the Redeemer, the Unicorn only appearing in the Presence of Virgins Of course Mary, the subsquent Hunt repping the Crucifixtion dyin for ya sins and purifying horn, and the Unicorn living cause semi immortality and Christ live-dying with god or what ever the point of that story was.

Guess who else was invited to do some ressurecting, it is part of Baals plans to recruit Poro for Delkiras "reuniting," for Baal just straight up power grab. (honestly i didn't know much about unicorns before hand was not expecting jesus or the virgins thing to come up.) Blehh that means Iruma, Ali and Delkira, could be like the unholy demonic Trifecta, (Delkira)the Father (Iruma) the Son (Ali) the Holy Spirit not expecting to see iruma with another jesus parallel.

crack theories: Poro cleared Kirio of his Debuffs. It'll be a race see who will get to Delkira first catch Delkira as a Deer, or Ali or Delkira go full vampire Mode.

Another reason why they don’t like Iruma

So minus that they know that Iruma is human and a threat just because of that. They also notice that anyone who meets him tends to really friendly with and they want to help him. Or in there words, “Warp around his finger.” Which really shows how unheard of that is and adds another reason why the bad guys of the series don’t like just because he is human.

There plan is to destroy the structure of the netherworld and make is where only the strong are at top and no weak demons are near the top. Where demons can give into there origins. And Iruma is the main thing that is going to stop there plans.
