"Mac Gets Clean" an episode where Mac decides to try to go sober. This is my Always Sunny pitch. I think it would be great because Mac would be the absolute most annoying dude in recovery ever. He'd constantly be lecturing everyone about God and bragging, it could even last as a running joke. He could have like super obnoxious weirdo recovery friends and try to convert the bar to a dry bar. Throw Cricket into the mix.

Also Mac needs some boyfriend plots. Just the worrrrst boyfriends. Or like one where the boyfriend is amazing but the gang fucks it up.

dennis & dee are so MEAN & it’s literally always funny. don’t get me wrong the gang are all horrible people. frank is deranged & gross, charlie is mostly just living in his own reality, mac is deluded & lives by his own misguided principals but dennis & dee are BULLIES. I mean there’s more to it ofc dennis is narcissistic & self obsessed & dee is so lost in her insecurities & anger issues that she takes them out on other people but also they are just playground bullies. they purposefully set their friend up to get his ass beaten publicly & delight in his humiliation while the others go along but feel vaguely weird. dennis & dee are just mean spirited & cruel people (I say this with love in my heart I love all the gang & always cheer for them being awful but especially dennis & dee)
