This thing is ancient and I kinda hate it but it's an otherwise really cool wip. The story is The Faceless King and I have been pondering this one for roughly 5 years now, if I remember right. No additional context for this one, I'm still cooking this universe, as if that weren't obvious by the redacted bits. There's names for them in the doc but they're dumb and I hate them so No <3

"Oh! Well, now I feel like a fool, I should have made my niece, er, King Evan--" he corrects, glancing to the side to make sure he wasn't going to get scolded. Evan is too busy talking to someone else to notice. "--wait a little longer for his greeting. My apologies." He bows his head, hands clasped firmly in front of him. He puts on a more formal air before continuing. "I am Macsim [...], prince of the Northern kingdom. I expected you with the rest of the [placeholder] party, what brings you here with the [others]?" He seems less like a fun uncle and more like what he actually is: a diplomat.

LEGACY CHALLENGE IDEA!

I struggle to find a good way to play for multiple generations and have a hard time finding a legacy challenge that would fit my play style. As such I’m making a crazy challenge to see if I stick to it.

Rules:

1 young adult sim

No money cheats

In CAS hit random on traits 3 times, and that’s what your sims traits are. For the aspiration use a random number generator to get the category and aspiration within that category.

Move into any world fits the sims you’ve rolled. Pick a career that fits them.

You must have/adopt at least one child each generation. Each generation much live in a different neighborhood and have a different career or sales trait (painting, woodworking, etc). You cannot use the same neighborhood, job more than once.

Randomize all traits for child heir.

Go for 10 generations and see what you come up with! Comment your sims below.

My gen one has the fabulously wealthy aspiration, hates children, is outgoing, and self absorbed. She is in the salespersons career. This should be interesting. I’ll document my play here with #macsims
