Flick is a demon/shapeshifter, they got sent to the human realm to socialize with humans and integrate with them, but they're really bad at the whole human thing.

Flick is very sweet, just extremely naive - they want everyone to be their friend and get along with everyone else.

I think a lot of people of mine would get along with Flick, honestly, but I don't want to pick one of the 3 I'm always thinking about...

Of all the human OCs I have, I think the one that would be the most enthusiastic about being Flick's new best friend is Adrian, my necromancer OC. Not only does he like to (legally and ethically) bring people and entities back from the dead, but he's also really into studying demons as a little side-hobby...maybe a side PhD. I need to think more about his actual life but whatever.

I know our demon lore is different, but that would honestly fascinate him more. He might be a little bit too question-y about what Flick is, but he would also politely nod along and roll with it if Flick went "nuh uh" to the Demon accusations lol. (Adrian would also be happy to give them Human-ing tips)

The Faerie Ring Choose-Your-Own-Adventure has a few obstacles, but I guess the villain can best be described as nature... and also magic.

The main character, Mina, tripped and fell through a faerie ring and into Arcadia, and now she has to get back home. The fae, the path she walks down, and her own tongue are obstacles in her journey through this strange world. Calling any of these villainous is reductive, especially when Mina is just as likely to commit acts of actual cruelty.
