Another fun illustrative commission I got a long while back. They didn't have that great of a cover so I helped enhance the idea of a tense western based in the Arizona desert.

This was the rough before I got to my colored final.

Initial sketches for the cover. Western paintings were a huge inspiration for this.

I made 3 new pairs of earrings! Hooray, let me know what you think. The 1st pair are prehnite with reticulated silver leaves. The reticulation happens at the whim of the torch flame so these are truly #ooak. The 2nd pair are textured copper rolled around freshwater pearls. The earring hooks are sterling. I love pairing rustic with refined. The 3rd pair are fun spirals fused to discs, because spirals are always my favorites. Speaking of boxes… just realized I didn’t post some shots of the finished tea box project. Here it is… Spanish Cedar box with walnut/Birdseye maple lid. The outside of the box is finished with walnut oil and beeswax, the lid is French polish.
