What TV show or movie do you actually like better than the book? (Gasp!) 🎥 I'm totally stealing this question from one of @margotmwood's recent Twitter convos, because I find it kind of fascinating. . . Two come to mind for me. First, Stardust by Neil Gaiman, which IS a wonderful book, but (I think) was an even better movie. Second is The Magicians be Lev Grossman. The book was okay for me, but I could never be bothered to read the rest of the series. But the @magicianssyfy TV show is truly something special! The writing is so sharp and clever and witty, and every time I watch it, I'm just reminded again of how fantastic it really is. I can't wait for the new season!! If you haven't watched this series yet, I HIGHLY recommend it & I think you can find it on Netflix. (New episodes air on @syfy) . .
