It’s from Gerard Way’s solo album, Hesitant Alien 👽 More specifically, “Maya the Psychic.” It’s a bit obscure, but one of my favorites from the album & I thought it went nicely enough with my little bat scene here for World Watercolor Month 🎨

I am just not handling the timing of these “Winx that Kiss” pieces well lately. 🙃

Oh well. At least Musa’s wings were a tad on the simpler side, and her fairy dust bottle has always been my favorite…even if I don’t understand why it looks the way it does. 🎼

Today’s “Winx that Kiss” has the most unusual wings so far—Is this characteristic exclusive to Tecna’s home realm? Is it for fairies with more science or math related powers? Nobody knows! 🙃

It does look pretty cool for this series though. 😎

In a way, it’s fitting to end with her since that’s where the original English dub ended—with Season 4. Likewise, the end of the challenge is just as bittersweet, I think. 🍬

Doesn’t help that I think my admiration of Stella as a kid made this one weirdly intimidating for me; But at least I got it done! ☀️

Day 6 is probably the only one in our “Winx that Kiss” countdown that will have a different name depending on which version of the show you grew up with. ⚖️

Personally, I grew up with “Layla.” But I do think the modern description of her power as “waves” is one of the easier ones to understand. 🌊

Since today’s “Winx that Kiss” countdown features musical Musa, it seemed like a good time to bring in a little more visual movement. 😉🎶

Also, this one most strongly made me reconsider using the fairies’ hair color for the tongue, but I’m siding with instinct for consistency’s sake. 😝

Technically (ha) Tecna has another wing design I thought of using, but this size balances out better with Bloom’s. 🤓
