[OOC Info under the cut!]
Hi, hello! I don't have a ton of stuff to say here, but, here we go.
This blog is full of berry "facts" (only some of them are accurate and most are probably only true in my little headcanon universe, feel free to adopt any of the "facts" presented into your own worlds if you want!
It's operated by the Porygon2 (thinking of making it a Porygon-Z soon) of one of my other OCs, @pc-box-ghost . The Porygon2 is sentient.
Please do not take anything Terabyte (the Porygon2) posts here as an absolute. He likes to spread misinformation sometimes. Kind of inspired by Google's AI and its sometimes off-the-wall information. Like how it told people to glue the cheese to pizza if it slid off. Yeah.
Also, no. Silph Co. will have no idea what people are talking about if someone brings any in-universe legal concerns to their attention. Terabyte was deemed "inactive" and no longer registered as a Security / Janitorial Porygon YEARS ago and is no longer in their system. There's lore I need to get into later.
Magic anons are off. Pelipper mail and variants are welcome.

You can use Postal with any VPS or Linux server providers of your choice, however here are some we recommend: Vultr Cloud (Get free $300 credit) - In case your SMTP port is blocked, you can contact Vultr support, and they will open it for you after providing a personal identification method. DigitalOcean (Get free $200 Credit) - You will also need to contact DigitalOcean support for SMTP port to be open for you. Hetzner ( Get free €20) - SMTP port is open for most accounts, if yours isn't, contact the Hetzner support and request for it to be unblocked for you Contabo (Cheapest VPS) - Contabo doesn't block SMTP ports. In case you are unable to send mail, contact support. Interserver
Postal Minimum requirements
- At least 4GB of RAM - At least 2 CPU cores - At least 25GB disk space - You can use docker or any Container runtime app. Ensure Docker Compose plugin is also installed. - Port 25 outbound should be open (A lot of cloud providers block it)
Postal Installation
Should be installed on its own server, meaning, no other items should be running on the server. A fresh server install is recommended. Broad overview of the installation procedure - Install Docker and the other needed apps - Configuration of postal and add DNS entries - Start Postal - Make your first user - Login to the web interface to create virtual mail servers Step by step install Postal Step 1 : Install docker and additional system utilities In this guide, I will use Debian 12 . Feel free to follow along with Ubuntu. The OS to be used does not matter, provided you can install docker or any docker alternative for running container images. Commands for installing Docker on Debian 12 (Read the comments to understand what each command does): #Uninstall any previously installed conflicting software . If you have none of them installed it's ok for pkg in docker.io docker-doc docker-compose podman-docker containerd runc; do sudo apt-get remove $pkg; done #Add Docker's official GPG key: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install ca-certificates curl -y sudo install -m 0755 -d /etc/apt/keyrings sudo curl -fsSL https://download.docker.com/linux/debian/gpg -o /etc/apt/keyrings/docker.asc sudo chmod a+r /etc/apt/keyrings/docker.asc #Add the Docker repository to Apt sources: echo "deb https://download.docker.com/linux/debian $(. /etc/os-release && echo "$VERSION_CODENAME") stable" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/docker.list > /dev/null sudo apt-get update #Install the docker packages sudo apt-get install docker-ce docker-ce-cli containerd.io docker-buildx-plugin docker-compose-plugin -y #You can verify that the installation is successful by running the hello-world image sudo docker run hello-world Add the current user to the docker group so that you don't have to use sudo when not logged in as the root user. ##Add your current user to the docker group. sudo usermod -aG docker $USER #Reboot the server sudo reboot Finally test if you can run docker without sudo ##Test that you don't need sudo to run docker docker run hello-world Step 2 : Get the postal installation helper repository The Postal installation helper has all the docker compose files and the important bootstrapping tools needed for generating configuration files. Install various needed tools #Install additional system utlities apt install git vim htop curl jq -y Then clone the helper repository. sudo git clone https://github.com/postalserver/install /opt/postal/install sudo ln -s /opt/postal/install/bin/postal /usr/bin/postal Step 3 : Install MariaDB database Here is a sample MariaDB container from the postal docs. But you can use the docker compose file below it. docker run -d --name postal-mariadb -p 127.0.0.1:3306:3306 --restart always -e MARIADB_DATABASE=postal -e MARIADB_ROOT_PASSWORD=postal mariadb Here is a tested mariadb compose file to run a secure MariaDB 11.4 container. You can change the version to any image you prefer. vi docker-compose.yaml services: mariadb: image: mariadb:11.4 container_name: postal-mariadb restart: unless-stopped environment: MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD: ${DB_ROOT_PASSWORD} volumes: - mariadb_data:/var/lib/mysql network_mode: host # Set to use the host's network mode security_opt: - no-new-privileges:true read_only: true tmpfs: - /tmp - /run/mysqld healthcheck: test: interval: 30s timeout: 10s retries: 5 volumes: mariadb_data: You need to create an environment file with the Database password . To simplify things, postal will use the root user to access the Database.env file example is below. Place it in the same location as the compose file. DB_ROOT_PASSWORD=ExtremelyStrongPasswordHere Run docker compose up -d and ensure the database is healthy. Step 4 : Bootstrap the domain for your Postal web interface & Database configs First add DNS records for your postal domain. The most significant records at this stage are the A and/or AAAA records. This is the domain where you'll be accessing the postal UI and for simplicity will also act as the SMTP server. If using Cloudflare, turn off the Cloudflare proxy. sudo postal bootstrap postal.yourdomain.com The above will generate three files in /opt/postal/config. - postal.yml is the main postal configuration file - signing.key is the private key used to sign various things in Postal - Caddyfile is the configuration for the Caddy web server Open /opt/postal/config/postal.yml and add all the values for DB and other settings. Go through the file and see what else you can edit. At the very least, enter the correct DB details for postal message_db and main_db. Step 5 : Initialize the Postal database and create an admin user postal initialize postal make-user If everything goes well with postal initialize, then celebrate. This is the part where you may face some issues due to DB connection failures. Step 6 : Start running postal # run postal postal start #checking postal status postal status # If you make any config changes in future you can restart postal like so # postal restart Step 7 : Proxy for web traffic To handle web traffic and ensure TLS termination you can use any proxy server of your choice, nginx, traefik , caddy etc. Based on Postal documentation, the following will start up caddy. You can use the compose file below it. Caddy is easy to use and does a lot for you out of the box. Ensure your A records are pointing to your server before running Caddy. docker run -d --name postal-caddy --restart always --network host -v /opt/postal/config/Caddyfile:/etc/caddy/Caddyfile -v /opt/postal/caddy-data:/data caddy Here is a compose file you can use instead of the above docker run command. Name it something like caddy-compose.yaml services: postal-caddy: image: caddy container_name: postal-caddy restart: always network_mode: host volumes: - /opt/postal/config/Caddyfile:/etc/caddy/Caddyfile - /opt/postal/caddy-data:/data You can run it by doing docker compose -f caddy-compose.yaml up -d Now it's time to go to the browser and login. Use the domain, bootstrapped earlier. Add an organization, create server and add a domain. This is done via the UI and it is very straight forward. For every domain you add, ensure to add the DNS records you are provided.
Enable IP Pools
One of the reasons why Postal is great for bulk email sending, is because it allows for sending emails using multiple IPs in a round-robin fashion. Pre-requisites - Ensure the IPs you want to add as part of the pool, are already added to your VPS/server. Every cloud provider has a documentation for adding additional IPs, make sure you follow their guide to add all the IPs to the network. When you run ip a , you should see the IP addresses you intend to use in the pool. Enabling IP pools in the Postal config First step is to enable IP pools settings in the postal configuration, then restart postal. Add the following configuration in the postal.yaml (/opt/postal/config/postal.yml) file to enable pools. If the section postal: , exists, then just add use_ip_pools: true under it. postal: use_ip_pools: true Then restart postal. postal stop && postal start The next step is to go to the postal interface on your browser. A new IP pools link is now visible at the top right corner of your postal dashboard. You can use the IP pools link to add a pool, then assign IP addresses in the pools. A pool could be something like marketing, transactions, billing, general etc. Once the pools are created and IPs assigned to them, you can attach a pool to an organization. This organization can now use the provided IP addresses to send emails. Open up an organization and assign a pool to it. Organizations → choose IPs → choose pools . You can then assign the IP pool to servers from the server's Settings page. You can also use the IP pool to configure IP rules for the organization or server. At any point, if you are lost, look at the Postal documentation. Read the full article

Master Franchise Marketing: Avoid Common Pitfalls for Success
Marketing: A Key to Franchise Success
Marketing plays a crucial role in the triumph of any franchise, but it can be a tough task to tackle. Franchisors have to strike a balance between maintaining brand uniformity and allowing franchisees to adapt their marketing strategies to local markets. It is imperative to avoid common marketing pitfalls for franchisors aiming to boost visibility, attract new customers, and drive revenue growth.
Inconsistent Messaging
One frequent marketing error franchisors make is not developing clear and consistent messaging. Without a defined brand message, franchisees may find it challenging to engage with customers and stand out from competitors. Franchisors should craft a strong brand voice and messaging framework that franchisees can utilize to create marketing materials that connect with their target audience.
Inadequate Training and Support
Franchisors who fail to provide sufficient training and support to their franchisees are more likely to face marketing setbacks. Franchisees may lack the necessary skills and knowledge to develop effective marketing campaigns, leading to wasted time and resources. Franchisors should deliver comprehensive marketing training and ongoing support to assist franchisees in crafting and implementing successful marketing strategies.
Ignoring Local Market Needs
Franchisors who disregard local market needs and preferences are at greater risk of marketing failures. While maintaining brand consistency is essential, franchisors should also empower franchisees to tailor their marketing efforts to local markets. Franchisors should collaborate closely with franchisees to understand local market demands and preferences and provide them with the necessary tools and resources to develop marketing campaigns that resonate with local customers.
Over-reliance on Traditional Marketing Channels
Franchisors that depend too much on traditional marketing channels, such as print advertisements and direct mail, might miss opportunities to engage with customers through digital channels. Franchisors should create a multi-channel marketing strategy that includes a blend of traditional and digital marketing channels, like social media, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO).
Successful and Failed Marketing Campaigns
McDonald's mobile ordering and payment app stands as a notable example of a successful franchise marketing initiative. The app enables customers to order and pay for their meals in advance, bypass the queue, and customize their orders. The app has seen tremendous success, with millions of downloads and significant sales increases. The campaign's success can be chalked up to factors like an intuitive interface, personalized suggestions, and a strong emphasis on convenience and speed.
Burger King's Satisfried campaign serves as an example of a failed franchise marketing venture. Launched in 2017, the campaign encouraged customers to order a Whopper through the Burger King app and then drive to a competitor's restaurant to claim a Satisfried check for a penny. Intended to promote the app and drive traffic to Burger King locations, the campaign flopped, with numerous customers complaining about long wait times and poor service at both Burger King and competitor restaurants.
Actionable Tips for Enhanced Marketing
To improve your marketing endeavors, here are some actionable suggestions:
Develop clear and consistent messaging that appeals to your target audience.
Provide thorough marketing training and continuous support to franchisees.
Take local market needs and preferences into account when devising marketing campaigns.
Ensure brand consistency while allowing for local customization.
Create a multi-channel marketing strategy that integrates both traditional and digital marketing channels.
Closely monitor marketing campaigns and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
Marketing mistakes can be expensive for franchisors, but by avoiding common pitfalls and developing effective marketing strategies, franchisors can enhance visibility, attract new customers, and drive revenue growth. By adhering to the tips and best practices outlined in this guide, franchisors can position themselves for marketing success and avoid the errors that can impede their progress.

System API in MuleSoft
In MuleSoft, a “system API” typically refers to an API designed to interact with the underlying system or infrastructure, rather than being used for external communication. System APIs are used to connect and integrate various system-level components, databases, or services within your organization’s infrastructure. Here’s a bit more detail on system APIs in MuleSoft:
Purpose: System APIs are designed to expose the functionality of backend systems, databases, or other internal services. They allow you to access and manage data or operations within your organization.
Authentication and Authorization: System APIs often require strong authentication and authorization mechanisms since they deal with internal resources. MuleSoft provides various security options like OAuth 2.0, Basic Authentication, and custom policies to secure these APIs.
Connectors: MuleSoft offers a wide range of connectors that facilitate the integration of different system-level components. These connectors help establish connections to databases, message queues, file systems, and more.
Data Transformation: System APIs may involve data transformation and mapping, as the internal data format may differ from the format required by the API consumers. MuleSoft provides DataWeave, a powerful transformation language, to handle data manipulation.
Error Handling: Robust error handling is crucial for system APIs. MuleSoft allows you to define error-handling strategies to manage unexpected situations gracefully.
Monitoring and Logging: Monitoring and logging capabilities are essential for system APIs to track transactions, identify issues, and ensure proper operation.

There are various products and technologies that can help you to stay mobile in USA, let us look at some of them here with their relative pros and cons:
Option 1: Buy a USA International Roaming Plan from your Telecom Service Provider

Had the worst day ever today.
So I& had to go do something unrelated to the story, which made me& leave our apartment for the first time in weeks. Yes I&'m that much of a hermit. While I&'m leaving I& notice a note addressed to me& telling me& that apparently I& missed a package on the 1st of January and that I& need to grab it within the next 9 days.
It's the 11th of January. Missed the opportunity by one or two fucking days.
And my& family saw that there was a note lying around on top of the postboxes and didn't think to check if it were for me&. I& guess it's my& own responsibility to be checking my& mail but. It still adds onto the irony of it all.
What fucking ever though, it's still worth a shot going over to the terminal to see if there is a slim chance it's still there, right? This is where the end of times began, though. Because when I& go over there, it's the kind of terminal that has no monitor whatsoever, so you can't scan the barcode that's on the note,
you HAVE to get an app.
So there I& was at that terminal, with my& mom, giving up and deciding to just download it because fuck it. But the app? NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR COUNTRY. What the fuck? I& came here to Germany from Ukraine three fucking years ago now WHAT DO YOU MEAAAAN NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR COUNTRY
This entire time there is a mailman standing right there, this sweet old man with his bike, watching us fumble so fucking badly staring at our phones and arguing with each other about what we can try to do next. I& notice him and ask him for help, in desperation, showing him the problem. And EVEN THE FUCKING MAILMAN GOES THROUGH SEVERAL STAGES OF GRIEF AS HE REALIZES. THAT THE APP IS THE ONLY WAY TO RECEIVE THE PACKAGE FROM THIS FUCKASS TERMINAL.
My& last hope is this little tidbit of information on the notice. Something about going to a post office. (Note that both me& and my& mom only have about B1 in German so we're also kind of struggling to decypher things in a foreign language this entire time, making the whole ordeal extra nightmareish.) It doesn't actually specify which post office you're supposed to go to, so I& just assume it's the nearest one.
Desperately we march over there. And we arrived exactly on the one singular hour of the day that they're on lunch break for.
>cat_explode.gif
>the downside of being a real life cartoon character I& fucking guess. I& knew that being fictionkin would bite me& in the ass someday
Whatever. I& go there an hour later when they're open. Mind you, I&'m doing this all while super fucking tired because my& schedule is kind of ass and I& woke up at midnight, so I&'d rather go to bed by midday already. In the office, I& explain them the story, and would you believe it NO YOU ACTUALLY CAN'T GET THE PACKAGE THERE OR THROUGH ANY OTHER METHOD. THE APP THAT WE CAN'T DOWNLOAD IS THE ONLY FUCKING WAY. AND IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT THEN FUCK YOU WE'RE SENDING THE PACKAGE BACK. What a fucking joke. And what if you don't have a phone? Are you meant to just get fucked in the ass all silly?
Luckily a helpful man in the queue suggests that I& try to download an apk file of the app. Tough luck though! Because there is no updated version of the apk online and if your version is too old it just straight up doesn't let you do anything in the app!
Finally I&'m home, defeated. Me& and my& mom look into what's stopping Google Play from recognizing our geolocation despite us explicitly allowing it to do so in the settings. Turns out that you can't change your country if you're part of a Google family group, the admin of which is my& dad who is back in Ukraine! And I&'m not leaving the family group because he pays for youtube premium for us which I& didn't ask for but hey if he wants to pay for it himself anyway then I&'m not complaining being included in his plan.
And all of this.
Is for a package.
That I& probably wasn't gonna get anyway because it's too late.
Message of the story is: I& am not getting my& HCTCG cards as soon as I&'d hope ;_;
Hell nightmare world. Kill all apps forever
#ok luiger#my& relative who lived here in Germany since forever will be trying to get the package tomorrow. we'll see#maybe it's not even there anymore#only highlight of the day was a really nice kurdish old man who made small talk with us while we were on a side quest buying clementines#the clementines were so fucking good I& later got another bag of them

How to Monitor Exchange and Office 365 Mail Queues

How to Monitor Office 365 Mail Queues and Troubleshoot Slow Email Delivery for Exchange and Exchange Online
I am sure you’re having exchange mail queues issues, right?
Despite the recurring predictions for its death, businesses of all sizes still run on email. Yes, messaging and news feeds like Yammer and Slack have a place in corporate collaboration. But the asynchronous nature of email is what makes it adaptable and robust. This asynchronous delivery is critical to make email robust and scalable. It also makes it exceedingly difficult to continuously monitor.
On top of this, most corporate email systems employ additional layers and filtering including external cloud-based SMTP Filters and spam protection. These extra layers add points of failures and latencies for both inbound and outbound mail flow. To add to an already complex picture — Office 365 has its own message queueing systems.
But when everything was behind the firewall, it was easy enough to detect stuck mail queues and resolve the situation. Now with cloud-based systems like Office 365 and Google Apps, it’s nearly impossible to monitor what’s working and what isn’t — unless you are using CloudReady, of course.
Watch our latest video on monitoring Microsoft Exchange Online performance
Watch this video to learn how to Monitor Microsoft 365 Exchange Online Mail queues, SPAM filters, and troubleshoot slow…
How To Monitor Exchange Online
www.exoprise.com
How CloudReady Monitors Mail Queue Performance
CloudReady has invested considerable time and effort in developing our email sensors to solve just this problem. All of the CloudReady Email Sensors including Exchange Online, Hosted Exchange, Outlook Web App, IMAP, Gmail, and On-Premise Email (MAPI) sensors send synthetic emails between the mail platform and our auto-responders. We knew from the beginning that testing email delivery, reliability and performance was critical to our customers confidence in the cloud.
How Does It Work?
All of our CloudReady sensors exercise the entire email system by sending a small test message from the sensor to our cloud auto-responders. When the sensor is browser-based, Gmail or Outlook Web App (OWA) for example, the sensor will navigate through the product to generate a test message just like a real user would — opening dialogs, hitting compose buttons, etc. Exoprise emulates a real user utilizing the product end-to-end and monitoring the whole experience. For reliable and accurate monitoring, a simple API test won’t get the job done.
Once an email is generated, our sensors confirm that the message was sent by checking the appropriate folders and headers on the outbound/sent side. Until then, we start the wait for the reply. Additionally, for many of our sensors, we set up mailbox rules to hide our synthetic emails. We do this so that customers can re-use existing accounts for monitoring email systems. Also, they can get maximum coverage across their mailbox servers or Database Availability Groups (DAGs).
Next, we wait for the reply from our auto-responders so that we can parse up the timestamps, the MIME and extended header data, and report on the success or failure of the transmission. Our sensors have an exponential back-off algorithm and will wait up to approximately 3 minutes for a reply. We figure if the systems and layers can’t get a small email out and back within 3 minutes then its going to be too slow with real content and we report a failure. We’ve tested these thresholds with our customers and our crowd-powered data (see below).
Time Synchronization
If CloudReady is to measure the timings of interactions and round-trip times of emails, a good source of synchronized time is required. Unfortunately, CloudReady can’t guarantee that a customer system has a reliable clock or that it is kept time-synchronized. Therefore, a CloudReady installation has to periodically synchronize its own concept of time to our servers and use that time source for its measurements.
We use this time synchronization across many of our sensors so its well worth the effort for improved accuracy.
Super-fast Auto-responders
Exoprise leverages a node-based SMTP application, haraka, to process its messages as a well as series of custom plugins. You can read more about haraka here. Since its node-based its event driven, incredibly fast, and highly scable. Our auto-responders process 100’s of thousands of inbound and outbound messages each day, typically in < 10 milliseconds per each message.

Continuous measurements: Inbound, Outbound, and Transport Times
CloudReady continuously captures a number of metrics related to Message Queue performance and we are expanding this data-set all the time:
MTA Outbound Time The time it takes to send an email to our CloudReady auto-responders. This metric measures outbound queue and transfer performance. MTA stands for message-transfer-agent and is responsible for the transmission of the email between servers.
MTA Transport Time The time it takes for a reply to reach the inbound MTA servers. This metric measures inbound transport performance and is a subset of the MTA Inbound time as reported by processing servers.
MTA Inbound Time The total time it takes to reply to an email from our auto-responders to the inbox. This metric measures inbound queue performance.
MTA Queue Statistics without Crowd Comparison
How to Interpret the Results
Let’s look at each one of them
MTA Outbound Time
A large MTA Outbound Time likely points to your outbound SMTP filters and/or the providers or on-premise Exchange mail queues that are having problems.
MTA Inbound Time
When you have a large MTA Inbound Time but no corresponding MTA Transport Time then you have a stuck inbound mail processing queue problem. If its an Exchange or email environment within your control then you should consider increasing the resources for your inbound queues.
MTA Transport Time
Ok, so you have a large MTA Transport Time then you have a problem with your SPAM or AV processing. Typically, this is the culprit and the source of the slow mail replies. When you see large MTA Transport Times — upwards of 3 or 4 minutes to process a small 900-byte message — you can guarantee that you will have a problem with email delivery in the future. Larger messages with attachments will take even longer to process.
Crowd-powered Like the Rest of Our Statistics
Just like ALL of the metrics that Exoprise CloudReady collects, we crowd-source our MTA statistics. That way our customers can understand what is typical for inbound and outbound mail processing. Being able to do this comparison across on-premise Exchange servers and Office 365 environments is very helpful in evaluating a migration to different SMTP or SPAM services.
We have had customers come to us and say “we thought our email was slow, we just didn’t realize how bad it was until we could compare it to other systems”. That is the power of CloudReady crowd-powered monitoring.
Bad MTA Filters and SPAM Protection Without Crowd Compare
Find out if you have an Office 365 mail queue problem today
CloudReady is a simple and powerful way for customers to get insight into and monitor their critical email flow. Don’t wait until after an outage to know whether or not you received that crucial proposal, purchase order, or support request.

Now there are a lot of programs for call centers. Finding the best one to suit your needs can be a daunting task. There are some criteria that good software should have.
Powerful features
The first and foremost requirement for any call center software is that it must be equipped with the latest tools and services. Choose software that offers features such as call forwarding, voice mail, intrusion, recording, automatic alerts... Determine the features you need for your communication needs.
Simple interface
A user-friendly interface plays a big role in organizing a productive workflow. This increases the efficiency of your agents and makes it easier for them to complete their tasks. An easy-to-navigate interface allows agents to get all the information and tools they need from a single portal. User-friendly software reduces training time and effort.
Integration with other applications
Call center software is only useful when it offers a complete set of telecommunications requirements. And it definitely becomes powerful if it allows out-of-the-box integration with other applications. Agents do not need to switch screens or software when contacting a customer or otherwise. This creates unnecessary interference and degrades the quality of service. For example, VOISO facilitates integration with various third-party systems such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, and more. It lets administrators monitor call queues, agents' performances, and work statuses by visualizing data in the form of graphs or charts.
Reliable service
Smart businesses opt for cloud-based software that connects over the Internet, thereby providing a routine service. The software vendor must obtain uptime to ensure operation.

notable moments from The Reunion Job
leverage 3.02
Madavhi: All my work, erased, and I was only days away from cracking Manticore.
Nate: What's "Manticore"?
Madavhi: It's an electronic surveillance system. The Iranian government uses it to track protesters over cell phones, social networks, even e-mail.
Hardison: Yeah, hacker underground's flipping out about it. They use GPS to pinpoint a dissident, and then they swoop in and make the arrest.
Madavhi: The Internet made this protest possible, but now it's just a –
Nate: A liability? The government uses the people's weapon against them
- - - - -
Nate: "Cyrus"? It's "Mr. Madavhi." You can't get that attached.
Hardison: Fine. "Mr. Madavhi." He could go make a fortune working for Google or Microsoft. No, instead he risks his life fighting the bad guys. This is so our game.
Eliot (at the table behind them): He wasn't hit by the Vezarat. (comes around to sit with Hardison and Nate)
Nate: What, are you lurking?
Eliot: Yeah. I'm a lurker. It's my thing
- - - - -
eliot’s smile and raised eyebrows (x2) at hardison tho
+ he’s also wearing a red flannel with his leather jacket
- - - - -
Hardison: What's the Vezarat?
Eliot: That's the Iranian secret police. And trust me, if they wanted Cyrus, he wouldn't be sitting here talking to us.
Nate: But the Vezarat is still our logical target. So we should check our sources and see if there's a safe house in the area.
Hardison: So we're on this?
Nate: Yeah, well, we were always on this. I just wanted you to explain to me why. (gets up and heads for the Poker Room)
Hardison: You know how I feel about Mind games, Nate. Negatively. What are you looking at, lurker?
ELIOTS SMILE
- - - - -
Sophie: Eliot. Eliot, get rid of it. Ugh!
Eliot: (chuckling) I think he likes you.
Sophie (stands): You're gonna pay for this
eliot: mocks her
sophie: imma get back at you SO HARD and you’re never gonna see it coming
- - - - -
“That’s gonna cost ya” “I gotta dock ya”- hardison and eliot like a million times in this episode
- - - - -
Parker: At the East corner. (pushes vent out and enters the room) For a den of evil spies, this place smells delicious. Hardison, confiscate some pastries. (sits down at computer) Okay, no sign of Cyrus' hardware.
we love seeing parker in vents in her element + CONFISCATE PASTRIES FOR HER
- - - - -
Nate: Any of you ever trimmed a bonsai?
Eliot: Well, you know, I did. I was in Osaka, and I met this Japanese policewoman at a geisha bar....
- - - - -
Parker (to Sophie): Why is Eliot pouring your tea? Hmm? Did you brainwash him again?
Sophie: Mm, neurolinguistic programming. It's amazing what you can do with the power of suggestion. "Sugar." "Squeezed." a few strategic pats on the arm.
(Sophie pats Eliot on the arm and he pours her more tea, then realizes what Sophie has done)
Eliot: Damn it!
Sophie: You owe me for that roach business!
Eliot: Sophie, not again. (walks away)
okay but SHES DONE THIS TO HIM BEFORE LMFAO + a bonus parker and hardison laughing
also parker was eating a plate of pastries so that means thE BOYS GOT SOME FOR HER I LOVE IT
- - - - -
parker and hardison go into the office and be like 👀👀👀 wow he’s lonely
- - - - -
Eliot: Nobody else thinks it's weird that you can just buy anybody's yearbook online?
Hardison: You know, it's real cute, man, how you still believe in privacy
- - - - -
Nate: Here we go. Uh, Mrs. Zavransky, math teacher. Now, I bet if we turn to the cheerleaders... (turns page) Yes. Oh, Mandy. Mandy Babson.
Parker: What does the "DD" Mean?
Eliot: Yeah, right...
Nate: Seriously?
Hardison: Yeah, right. Two scoops of ice cream, just perfect.
she’s baby leave her alone
also bless hardison for not wanting to tarnish her
- - - - -
Parker: Aw, I feel bad for the nerd.
Eliot: Don't feel bad for this guy. Getting bullied in high school Is still no excuse for propping up dictators. He got bulled his whole high-school career. He's not criminal.
Sophie: Um...
Parker: Yeah, he is.
Sophie: Don't think about that.
Eliot: Not a bad criminal.
Hardison: Hey, what makes you think I got bullied in high school?
Eliot: Well, "A," You got a green hornet doll.
Hardison: Well, first of all, it's a limited-edition action figure. Second, it is green lantern. Educate yourself.
Eliot: Wow.
Hardison: Now pay attention. Get it right.
eliot “not a bad criminal” spencer knows that hardison is a good person with solid morals
also, eliot to some extent knows about hardison’s action figues which means that he has either seen them or hardison has told him specifically that he had them. this means that they have had, even if eliot seemed annoyed, some sort of conversations/hardison-talking-at-him-conversations and eliot LISTENED to a certain extend that he was able to recall this
- - - - -
Nate: Guys, wait, wait. Listen, listen. We got a locker combination, we have a teacher's name, and we have a crush. So, Duberman, he has made his old high school his Roman room.
Parker: Of course.
Nate: "Of course"? What's a Roman room? You have no idea, right? You know—
Parker: Nn.
Nate: You don't have any idea? It's a, it's a memory technique. Each of his passwords corresponds to an object in a space that he's intimately familiar with. In his case, the hallway of his old high school where he kept his locker. Now, if I were to make this bar my Roman room, everything I need to remember is right here. For instance, This, uh... My bank password would be "Balmoor." And my e- mail password would be Fitzy, here.
- - - - -
Parker: Hey. Nate just gave us his passwords.
Hardison: No, but I got all his passwords. You want to see his Netflix queue? He's got, like, every season of "Rockford files" every season of "Sex and the city," That show "Psych”.

Parker: So many awkward people in so many ugly outfits.
[Interior Van]
Hardison: Yeah, you're lucky you never went to high school. Nothing but heartbreak and homework.
[High School Gym]
Parker: Didn't you go to your prom?
[Interior Van]
Hardison: Uh...I was kind of busy.
[Flashback]
(a teenaged Hardison is sitting at a computer making a transfer from the Bank of Iceland)
Hardison: Looks like the Bank of Iceland's paying off Nana's medical bills. That's dope!
[Interior Van]
Hardison: Good times

Hardison: Besides, I'm sure you already had your high- school fun. Big man on campus. What, quarterback?
[Flashback]
Kid: Come on, Eliot. This is so lame. Quarterbacks do not take Home Ec.
Eliot: I got my reasons.
Kid: Phew! Let's get out of here.

(Eliot knees the leader in the face, then pulls him up and punches him in the head. He turns to duck a blow from the other man and hits him in the head with one of Duberman’s chess trophies)
Eliot: Checkmate.

Eliot: Or not.

(Sophie hits Nikki in the head with the extinguisher and takes off her shoes)
Sophie: I always hated cheerleaders.
(Nikki swings several times and Sophie blocks each blow with the extinguisher, hurting Nikki’s wrist)
Sophie: It's mean girls like you that always ruined high school for the rest of us!
Nikki: What the hell are you talking about?
(Nikki kicks but Sophie moves to one side. Nikki tries to punch but Sophie blocks with the extinguisher. Sophie dodges a kick and hits Nikki in the head, then pushes her down and runs away. Nikki grabs her gun and fires after Sophie, missing her)
Nikki: Damn it

Nikki: Now, why would I do that?
(Parker walks forward and tasers Nikki in the neck)
Nikki: Ohh!
Nate: That's why.
(Nikki falls to the ground, convulsing. Parker grabs her legs and starts to pull her away)
Parker: Catering, what a business

Mandy: Your votes are in for the king and queen of the reunion! And the lucky winner is, Grace Peltz and Drake McIntyre!
Schmitty: Mac attack! Yeah!

Nate: Uh, very funny, Hardison.
Hardison: Oh, you think I did this? Naw, man, I don't rig elections. I mean, I could, but...
Sophie: Parker, Was this you?
Parker: (hanging upside down) I didn't even know they had kings and queens in high school

Hardison (looks up): May I have this dance, miss?

Parker: So this is what high school was like, huh?
Hardison: Ah...Pretty much.
Eliot: Hello?
[Exterior Dubertech]
(Eliot walks out of the building as Sloane gets to his feet)
Eliot: Everybody having a good time at the dance? Anybody wonder if Eliot made it out?
