Here's a fun fact: kids act more like kids (rambunctious, unsocialised gremlins) when they're with someone they feel safe with. Kids will trust and follow guidelines set by those they feel respected by.
Contrary to popular belief, they won't just let any old person into a classroom to watch young children. For the kids to like and trust him so much, he's been here often enough for them to bond with him and the staff to see him as a responsible young man.
Conclusion: Them joking about him being left alone with kids is a disaster is false. Li Ling is fantastic with kids, but Yun Chuan- who only remembers him being a bratty child- wouldn't know think that.
But this?? :
Solid advice. Absolutely SOLID. And in character to boot. He doesn't like to tell people what to do, so what does he teach the young, impressionable children as a hero? How to spot red flags and avoid them. He's giving them (1) physical traits they can recognised and (2) drawing logical connections to harmful characteristics of said traits. They instantly picked up on those traits and tried to look out for each other (but because they're 4-5 year olds, they aren't at that level of comprehension to, you know, run away from the situation like they've been told to do 🤣).
Between this and the way Li Ling talks with Andy, he sounds like he's on his way to becoming a Union Teacher on the side.
The only thing holding him back now is long term experience with children, that's why they're literally crawling all over him 🤣 he has the foundations of a solid teacher, he just needs to put in the practise.
Basically, when the kids said this
I said "saaammmme 😭😭😭"

so i went to an art museum recently that had an egon shiele exhibition and i was so struck by the fact that i had never heard of this man before (that I remember) but his style is so clearly influential in a lot of the art i see today
(paintings under cut for space and also nsfw)
also i saw this
and was like "well that's gay", then did a little digging and shiele scholars think so too based on actual historical knowledge (writings/friendships/etc). it's currently considered a self portrait (and a lot of his self portraiture is extremely Gender in a specifically faggy way) but it's part of a series of nudes that were specifically from 1910 when he was friends with openly gay men who modelled for him. also in trying to find a image of the painting above i found this one (also from that series)
if it were the one i saw initially i wouldn't have even had to look it up lmao
