When you eat raw or predominantly raw you obtain plenty of nutrients in an easy-to-digest manner, one that聽our bodies are naturally suited for. While there鈥檚 no need to go completely raw making sure to consume at least some raw vegetables and fruits every day is important for just about everyone. While you might think otherwise, cooked foods are usually harder to digest than raw foods, plus cooking nutrient-dense foods tends to destabilize their valuable enzymes and destroy certain antioxidants and vitamins.
