Today is the second time I’ve found a bone in fast food chicken nugget esque items.

When will my curse of finding bones in unsuspecting things end.

#bones speaks #i brought it to the manager of the store bc I know they would greatly appreciate having the bone to test to make sure it isn’t a-#huge food safety issue if it isn’t a chicken bone #they comped my meal which I didn’t expect or ask but I accepted bc I don’t want them to think I might sue bc I’m not taking compensation #they were very nice. much nicer than my McDonalds bone finding where they didn’t offer to comp the meal but instead offered me MORE-#CHICKEN NUGGETS YA KNOW FROM THE SAME BATCH I FOUND A BONE IN #the one I just found was most likely chicken. the one from McDonalds was absolutely a small rodent bone. probably a mouse or rat #i just wanted to try out some chicken fries after not going to Burger King for 10 years and instead I found bones :(

I loooooooooove when my boss leaves and I get the office to myself and can fuck around and sit a bunch and not give a shit!!!!!!! happy time theft tmonday !!!!

#man this job is easy but also? it's difficult #this morning my boss was like I know you tell people to write things down and they don't so what if instead You do all the writing down #and like. this is contrary to what I have done the past year and a half #and also she's like we don't care about food safety anymore we care about employee safety #but we still have to pass inspections so it's like.......... OK I'll just use the same exact amt of bandwidth I have to care about more shit #cool cool yeah it's fine #and my boss at the other building has gone to her my actual boss and been like what is Julia even doing lmao #first of all. if you want to talk to me TALK TO ME. second of all. it's been 4 days and I'm one person in 10 kitchens sorry I haven't #done Everything and managed each individual person yet #I tell people to do the thing and they don't!!!!! so I'm like I'll spend my time doing stuff I can actually deliver on like audits!!!!!!!#I should quit and go get paid what I'm worth but I don't want to bc I have mental problems. sigh.

shouldn’t have checked my bank account as expected my mother has taken thousands more dollars from my savings and has almost run me dry more or less. Cool!

#I’m going to fucking call the bank and ask about a second checking account because she’s never going to make her own fucking account #it’s been like a year since she said she would and it’s just not gonna happen #she owes me thousands of dollars via me paying her fucking overdraft fees and she always says ‘what you think I won’t pay you back?’ no!!!!!#no I don’t!!!!!!! because you literally never have!!!!!!!!!!!#and where the fuck are you going to get like 8000 dollars anyway. because that’s what she owes me at the very least #even if you want to factor in like. paying her monthly for the groceries she buys and cat food and whatever that’s still. thousands of #dollars. and the worst part about it is I just have no safety net anymore #because my savings is basically nothing at this point. like nothing that can help in a dire situation anymore.#I keep thinking about whatever im going to have to end up paying for top surgery and I WOULD have a significant amount saved up to #contribute to that but haha! no I don’t! it’s fucking gone!#and I’ve been getting paid basically fucking nothing lately because of how few hours they’re scheduling me so that does not fucking help #my last paycheck was literally like half of what I should be getting. I made like 1K in the past two paychecks. that’s fucking depressing #anyway I’ve given myself a headache #I’ve been avoiding looking at my bank account because I knew it would be bad and it’d stress me the fuck out but I also have been anxious #not knowing and my mother making a few vague comments that implied she must have fucked me over. so I checked today and yeah she sure did #if I don’t make a new checking account that she can’t access i am actually going to be broke within the nenxt few months at this rate #my head hurts and I am so upset I am so upset I work so fucking hard and it doesn’t even matter i just lose money constantly #I get nothing I just pay her fucking fees and pay for my tuition and pay for everything else of any significance #and I am not exaggerating I work my ass off. I am the only person I know at my job who begs to work holidays and extra days and stay as late #as possible and it . doesn’t even matter #im going to kill myself I swear to god. there’s shit I need to buy. what am I supposed to do.#kibumblabs #vent #like shit I need to buy for WORK. my manager is getting on me about not having proper shoes for example and yeah I can get a discount #through shoes for crews but I still dont have the fucking money for anything anymore #not unless I want to run myself into the fucking ground #I need a new binder badly. I need new black pants also for work since mine are so faded at this point.#I only have one fitted sheet that doesn’t have giant holes in it #I can’t stop thinking about my last paycheck it was literally the worst I’ve seen since starting this job a year ago. fucking infuriating

It was actually slightly bullshit but like hell I'm putting that on your survey for you to treat your underpaid hourly staff like even more shit than retail workers are already treated. Now gimme that survey so I can put 10s in every question and enter the drawing for that "might give you money" carrot you're dangling

(the cashier I liked and sympathized with tho... He had a BULLSHIT customer DEFINITELY in the wrong ahead of me. Then, when he did get to me, he was SO HAPPY that my purchase ended in an even dollar amount. He didn't even know I was paying cash yet, it was just that happiness like when you get an even dollar on a gas pump. Then he realized he hadn't applied a discount, and when he did it wasn't even anymore. He was so crestfallen.)

got up the courage to call and confirm my interview but the hiring manager was busy so now I have to get up the courage AGAIN god I hate phone calls but I am not having a repeat of when the wendy's ai scheduled an interview on the hiring manager's day off 💀

#literally I had never seen an ai for interviews before and stupidly assumed it would actually work lol #went there at the scheduled time and not only was the dining room closed but the hiring manager wasn't even scheduled for that day #like. what the hell #then I had to wait outside in the cold for my mom to finish her errands and pick me up 😑#I am NOT doing that shit again so I'm calling to confirm the interview time bc I do not trust the schedule bot #anyway I'm 100% doing part time bc I don't think I can handle full time yet. still recovering #but I think 3 days a week of 8 hour shifts will be ok #I would do 4 days but. I think that's a bit much. I need to keep my stress as low as possible or my therapist will be disappointed with me #I don't know that for sure but like. I'd be disappointed in MYSELF for putting myself back into a bad situation #so I think I'll just work enough to keep myself sane and my rent paid #and 24 hours a week is fine for that #am I enthused about the prospect of working in fast food again? no. but i need something without crushing responsibility #I just need a job that won't traumatize me more. something where I can safely keep to myself and not worry about people's safety
