ellipsus is really good, so long gdocs i have zero need for you now

it does not beat out manuskript for wrangling scenes and chapters in the outline (cannot emphasize how useful the outline tree in manuskript is for my process) but the connected drafts work like a dream for most everything else

recently switched from Manuskript to Obsidian for my writing and dang, I love it. not that Manuskript is bad, no way but Obsidian let's you do a lot more once you get the hang of it - canvasses, mind maps, tags, linking, images. I'm in awe. but beware, it takes a moment to get used to.

so now I'm moving all of my projects over to Obsidian, which might take a while because I have A LOT.

Has anyone used the writing software Manuskript before?? It's a free, open-source alternative to Scrivener as far as I can tell. I downloaded it but haven't tried it yet. Thoughts?

Das war eine ganz gute Woche, auch wenn das Schreiben noch hinterherhinkt, aber mnn kann es als Fortschriftt bezeichnen. So ganz ist der Knoten bei IJ6 noch nicht geplatzt, aber als ich am Plotten war, kam ich irgendwann nicht mehr weiter, weil ich wissen musste, wo sich was befindet und ob von was anderem das exitiert und was das eigentlich ist. Hat der keinen Namen?

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich euch erzählt, dass ich mir die Namen der Onkel im Weihnachtsroman nicht merken kann und die beiden Figuren deshalb mit XX bzw. XY bezeichnet habe. Dass ich das am Ende auch noch vertauscht habe, will ich an dieser Stelle nicht erörtern. Von dem einen Onkel fand ich schließlich den Namen ganz kurz den Namen im Text. Kurz danach wurde er wieder als XX bezeichnet.…
