She catches her breath as she passes the stranger in the street, and turns, clutching her wrist.

"… sir?"

But he’s gone, shoulders hunched, at a brisk and purposeful pace, as though stopping would not be wise.

"...Time's up." Naturally the fact his own wrist's number read the same, it might have been an unspoken sign of things to come between the exchange.

"So it is," she responded, her demeanour calm for once as she read the numbers upon her wrist. The infinite loops of the zeroes that were tattooed on her skin felt like they weighed tonnes, her heart sinking tremendously at the thought of leaving this world for the unknown. A sigh was heaved.

"I don’t fear death," she said sternly, announcing the fact so it would imbed in the Noxian’s mind. "I wouldn’t be here if I did, and you—I suspect that you don’t either, right?" A smirk. Reaching down to where she had lay her gauntlets, she picked them up and equipped them, clapping her fists together and beginning to harness some magic.

"Come on then," she said, reaching one hand out to invite the Du Couteau closer with her finger. "Fight me ‘til we fall."
