Hi!! I love your writing and hope everything is going well in life. I recently binged through your master list and they were amazing! Happy Holidays!

How would FO4 companions react to a Sole who's always patient and kind with others finally exploding when a settler acts a little too ungrateful? Maybe after a grueling mission Sole went on and returning back exhausted/injured, making them a bit more irritable than usual.

Ah, yes. There are Marcy Longs everywhere. This took awhile but I enjoyed writing this, it was fun. Merry Chris everyone!

CAIT is not going to save you. Truthfully, she’s been wanting to deck the settler in the face for a while but you always interfered. To be honest yelling at them is not doing it for her but it is cathartic. The settler is, reasonably, caught off guard and looks around for help, no one helps them.

“Oh, I ain’t helping ya. Ya get what you throw, right?”

PRESTON tries to facilitate but this was long overdue. His allowance of the settlers to generally have a say on how things are run had both positive and negative effects on the people in charge, especially you and him as General and their second-in-command. The spat would only end when you finished what you were saying or if you allowed him to pull you away.

“Marcy, that was a bit harsh. [Sole] stop, you made your point.”

HANCOCK knows being in command is a delicate balance of loving your people and making a point. Finn was a good defender but repeatedly overstepped others so taking him out not only made a point but protected his people and those who could be his people.

“Don’t complain. They didn’t shoot ya.”

NICK normally would chastise you for chewing out someone but they had been getting on his nerves. He has always seen how willing you are to bend over backwards for everyone, so even if the settler was nice to him, he won’t stand for his partner being berated by petty grievances. But as much as he wants to scold them, he wants to get you back to the house after the day you've had.

“Hey, pal/doll, let’s go. We’ll deal with this later.”

MACCREADY just chuckles on the side. When the settler first started giving you a piece of their mind MacCready offered to shut them up as your bodyguard. You of course declined the offer but now that was fully on the table. As much as he would still do it he knows you wouldn’t want that so he keeps his hands to himself. Just letting you chew them out was enough for him.

“Nah, the boss's got it.”

DANSE before BB he would correct the civilian for questioning command or reprimand you for letting your people step on your toes. Things have changed. Typically he tries to stay out of things now but he steps forward when his friend gets home to immediately be yelled at. But your snapping gave him pause. His instincts kicked in and he removed you from the situation. You tried to fight back but a demanding injury you’d been ignoring stopped you. When you were both inside and sat down he took care of your wound, making sure you knew he was just concerned for you not blaming you.

“I can imagine how tired you are. No need to apologize to me. Or them for that matter.”

PIPER she doesn’t like misdirected slander, however today was not misdirected. Her dislike for the picky settler is very known and so this was a long time in waiting. Honestly, the sheer Schadenfreude of the whole situation is enough to have her lean on a wall and chew gum watching this. Like her favorite TV show was on. She would only say something if Nat was there.

“Hey, I don’t wanna hear you repeating any of that, okay? Okay.”

CURIE doesn’t 100% understand the malicious intent behind the settlers word so she’s surprised when you answer with aggression. She tries to calm you down while attempting to give the settler a solution to their problem. It doesn’t work. The only reason this outburst stops is because Curie starts crying. It’s a lot of stimulation and confusion for her so it’s the only thing she can do.

“Monsieur/Madame, can we just go home? I don’t like this.”

X6-88 has always followed your orders, has never harmed anyone without your word, has never stepped out of your command. He immediately kicks them to the floor when you snap at them. You just risked life and limb to keep these people safe and warm, and when you come back limping they have the audacity to call you inattentive to the community. He doesn’t take any more liberties, he already let his emotions guide them to the floor, no need to guide them to the afterlife because of them.

“Shall I take care of them permanently? No? Then maybe just dismemberment?”

DEACON always away from the spotlight, didn't intervene but saw the whole thing. He doesn’t think less of you, actually he’s surprised it took this long, anyone else would have done it sooner. When you’re done he’s waiting at home for you, and when you ask where he went and if he heard you he just laughs.

“I was, y'know, around. I’m in the walls. You can't hide secrets from me!”

2022 in antisemitic hate crimes. 

Jan. 2nd: a 26 year-old Hasid was chased and beaten in Williamsburg. He required several staples in his head.

Jan. 14: in front of a Haredi Orthodox shul in Midwood, a white woman wearing Uggs and an orange hoodie spat on an 8 year-old Jewish boy and made anti-Semitic remarks. The woman allegedly yelled — at a 2, 7, and 8 year-old child playing outside of a synagogue, mind you: “Hitler should have killed you all.” “I’ll kill you and know where you live.”

Jan 22: On Shabbat in Crown Heights around 1 AM, a Hasidic man told the NYPD that he was approached and punched in the face. It's being investigated as a hate crime.

Feb. 4: On Shabbat in Bedstuy, a man ran up to two Hasidic men and punched one of them in the head.

Another assault involving a Jewish victim was also reported that same night

Feb. 11: At least one religious Jew was attacked on Shabbat evening in Flatbush by a person in a hoodie. NYPD are investigating as a hate crime. "Video shows the attacker trying to intimidate the victim, then slapping him in the face, knocking off his yarmulke."

April 1: A group of assailants repeatedly punched and kicked a Hasidic man in Williamsburg. a blurry video appears to show the group striking the victim and shoving him against the side of the truck, where he collapsed, and the beating continued.

April 2: Three teens armed with a crowbar, a knife and a machete allegedly threatened six boys, ranging in age from 12 to 16, on the Upper West Side.

May 6: Two men punched and kicked a rabbi in Crown Heights while making anti-Semitic remarks.

May 10: A man in a hoodie ran up to and punched a Jewish man walking in Flatbush. The man allegedly said, "Free Palestine."

July 13: 3 men assault a Jewish father in front of his 5 year old child

Aug. 9: A 44 year-old Jewish woman at a subway station on the Upper East Side "was choked by an unidentified male suspect, who made antisemitic remarks to her while she waited on the subway platform of the No. 6 train at around 11:20 a.m." according to NYPD.

Aug. 20: Two ultra-Orthodox men were chased down the street in Williamsburg, and at least one was sprayed with a fire extinguisher (which contains major skin and eye irritants)

Aug. 22: A 27-year-old Hasid was slapped by a stranger on Lynch St. near Marcy Ave in Williamsburg at about 4:30 p.m., per NYPD.

Aug. 22: Two teenage boys and a teen girl harassed and then chased a 13-year-old Jewish boy off of a Staten Island bus, took the boy's yarmulke from of his head, and fled.

Sep. 13: A 58 year-old man in Far Rockaway was allegedly punched in the face by a man hurling antisemitic epithets. NYPD has arrested a 34 year-old suspect, per Hamodia.

Sep. 17: Female suspect verbally assaults a Hassidic man before slapping the hat (and Kippah) off his head

Oct. 23: A suspect on a bike road up behind an 18 year old Jewish man and knocked him down

Oct. 24: Three students standing outside their Yeshivah on Avenue L & East 18th Street, were pelted by eggs. The perpetrators screamed “Free Palestine" and forced the students to say it as well.

Nov. 3: an elderly Jewish man walking on Kingston Ave had water and garbage thrown at him.

Nov. 8: Three men fired a gel-based pellet gun at a Hasidic woman and her son. They have been charged with assault as a hate crime, assault, aggravated harassment, and criminal possession of a weapon.

Nov. 9: A group of 4 assaulted a Jewish man in Brooklyn, knocking off his streimel

Dec. 5: A father and his 7 year-old son were shot with a BB gun outside of a Staten Island kosher grocery store

I want to be clear that A) this is ONLY! inside of New York City B) is only assaults and not any other kind of hate crimes like harassment or threats or property crimes and finally C) this is one reporter's informal attempt to track this problem, she admits she thinks she missed some crimes, so this list should not be seen as an authoritative list.

The light bounces off the surface of the water, reflecting in his eyes as you hold his gaze and silence falls over the two of you for a handful of heartbeats. He speaks in a hushed voice as if any louder would shatter the moment, “M’gonna marry you. Gonna give you whatever kind of life you want — a house, babies, I’d move across the world with you if you wanted. Middle of nowhere. Whatever you want, Mari.” A smile grows on your face, droplets littering your face as you match his volume, “The only life I want is one with yours.”

a big influence is stories that feel like incredible representations of real life and i can feel what the characters are feeling

oh god..........idk there's not a lot that i won't give a shot but i am not a fan of the inexperienced reader who has NO CLUE about anything cause that is just a sure fire way to take me out of the story cause in today's day and age, even if you're sheltered, you're still gonna learn or be exposed to sex

@atinylittlepain -- GIN my cousin they are seriously so skilled and so creative in their story ideas and character development is just chef's kiss. again, a writer who inspires me! i am putting my gin cap on for a WIP i have attempting to write something with as much depth and beauty as they put into their writing every time.

@ladamedusoif -- the thoughtfulness in rose's stories is so immaculate, i am always transported into the worlds that she builds. it's careful creation but not fragile in the slightest, i can really dig into her stories and characters.

MY PREDICTION FOR MURDER DRONES EP.4

TW. Spoilers, blood, horror

Ok, so Murder Drones ep.4 is going to come on April 7. Which is pretty great.

The creator given us pics about what the episode will be about.

The episode will be about camping and we saw group of campers, the cabin and Uzi in the lake.

At first i didn't think much about it but as i looked more into these leaks i figured that this will be based on horror movie..... CABIN FEVER

In this video posted 7 days ago it has the title Cabin Fever

For those who haven't watched that movie i will tell you.

Summary: While staying at a remote cabin for a week-long vacation, a group of five college friends succumb to an infectious, flesh-eating disease.

PLOT: A forest-dwelling hermit named Henry discovers his dog has died from a mysterious illness and is sprayed by its infected bl00d. Five young friends, Paul, Karen, Bert, Jeff and Marcy have rented a cabin in the same woods for a week-long vacation. The group stops for supplies at Priddy's General Store. Dennis, the intellectually-disabled son of the store manager, unexpectedly bites Paul's hand.

Bert ventures into the woods with a BB rifle to shoot squirrels. Bert encounters and accidentally shoots Henry, mistaken for a squirrel. He panics when he realizes Henry is infected with a disease and flees. He says nothing about the incident to his friends.

Later that evening, while the group hang out around a campfire, a stranger who calls himself Grim and his Belgian Malinois dog, Dr. Mambo, gatecrash their evening.

Later that night, Henry comes to the cabin in search of help. Bert slams the door in his face and the desperate man tries to steal the group's vehicle. A conflict ensues between Henry and the five friends, during which they accidentally cripple their car and set fire to him. He runs off into the woods, presumably to his death.

The next day, Jeff and Bert head out in search of help. They encounter a farmer who offers to help them, but hastily leave when they discover that Henry is her cousin. Meanwhile, Deputy Winston arrives at the cabin to investigate reports of the previous night's commotion. Paul explains things without mentioning Henry's presumed death. Winston promises to send a tow truck before departing.

Dr. Mambo returns to the cabin without Grim and seemingly infected. He threatens Paul and Bert, before Marcy scares him off with the rifle.

While Paul and Karen make out, they discover that Karen is infected with the flesh-eating virus and her leg has started to decay. Fearful of contagion, the others lock her in the shed. Paul leaves on foot to find help, but the only people he encounters chase him away, mistaking him for a peeping Tom.

The following morning, the group's attempt to evacuate is botched when Karen vomits blood all over the interior of the car. Bert drives back to the general store alone and Jeff abandons everybody and flees to a remote shack. Marcy and Paul lament their poor chances of surviving and have $3x, believing they won't live long enough to regret it. They later discover marks on Marcy's back that reveals she, too, is sick.

At the general store, Dennis bites Bert's hand just as he did with Paul. His father, Tommy, lashes out at Bert for exposing his son to the virus, and he and his friends chase Bert down in order to contain the disease. While once again searching for help, Paul encounters the severely-burnt Henry in the lake. Surprisingly, he is still alive and he attacks Paul, only for Paul to fend him off and finally k!ll him.

Marcy draws a bath and shaves her legs, causing the infected flesh to gruesomely peel from her body. She stumbles outside in distress and is mauled to death by Dr. Mambo.

Paul returns to the boat shed where Karen begs him to k!ll her. His gun is empty and since he's unable to finish the job of splitting her face with a shovel, Paul sets the shed on fire and watches in horror as Karen is completely burned alive. Bert makes it back to the cabin, but he is followed and shot dead by Tommy. Paul recovers Bert's rifle and guns down Tommy and his two accomplices. Paul escapes in Tommy's truck, but crashes it into a tree and explodes. Covered in bl00d, Paul stumbles upon a small campfire party attended by Deputy Winston. Winston receives a radio call from the sheriff ordering her to shoot Paul on sight. However, Paul convinces Winston to let him go instead.

The next morning, Jeff returns to the cabin. He finds the corpses of his friends and Tommy’s accomplices, and rejoices in having survived the ordeal himself, until he sees signs of the infection on his hand. He is then shot and k!lled by Deputy Winston with a sniper rifle. Paul succumbs to infection and drops dead in the woods where Dennis discovers his corpse. Back at the cabin, as the authorities and a hazmat crew clean up the scene, it’s revealed that Jeff’s corpse landed near the lake, which is now infected with his bl00d.

If I'm correct then the episode will be based on Cabin Fever horror movie because it makes sense from all the leaks that the creator given us so far. Which means that maybe Uzi or one of her classmates will get infected by some disease that they got from the lake.

Anyway tell me your thoughts about it please.

TASFS Miiverse Edition Guide WIP

The Adventures of Stickfigure Sam originally started on Miiverse! Here is the original series!

When Miiverse died, so did this timeline. Hopefully I'll come up with another way to share this idea of a series.

As all of these were drawn on a 3DS, the quality of some of these drawings might not be perfect. And figuring that they were made over a long-ish amount of time, I spent a bunch of that time experimenting and developing the style. So the quality will vary. Though it will get overall better as it goes on.

A young stickfigure named Sam finds a sword in a bubble and "rescues" a powerful sprite named BB. Join Sam on his very first so called "adventure". Will he have more adventures? Or will the end of a platform end it all?

Having Made History

My last day at Truist Financial Corp. was today. Here's the email that I sent to the company, looking back at the last 4 years and the company's whole history.

1,242 days ago, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission announced that SunTrust Banks Inc. had merged with and into BB&T Corporation, with BB&T surviving the merger as the surviving corporation, and pursuant to their agreement, at closing, BB&T had changed its name to Truist. 49 days later, I was personally recruited by the firm as a BB&T banker. Today, I stand proud of the story we've been able to tell since then. While this journey certainly has been a long road traveled, it marks the end of an era for me – it’s an emotional time for all of us. Given the current opportunity I have been presented with, I’ll be leaving the company. However, I want all of you to know that I’m brimming with nostalgia, gratitude, and optimism.

It’s been my great honor and privilege to be a part of this firm for the last 3 years. I’m also thankful for the lessons, in good times and bad, that I have learned as part of the Strawbridge office, working under the mentorship of Vice President Laura Finn. When Laura recruited me to Strawbridge, from the Pembroke office, she did so with the goal in mind of taking the Strawbridge team to new heights - a feat not easily done during a company's merger integration process. And together, we have rebuilt, reinvented, and strengthened our processes, having made history with our office's production in the process.

From a macroeconomic perspective, we're in a very transformative period in the banking industry, and we have quite a bit of a way to go before we get to the end of the tunnel. As we look ahead at a medium-to-hard landing in this elevated rate environment, factors like deposit flight, credit crunches, a hard market correction, and an overexposure to commercial real estate will all continue to add to the volatility that the regional banks are experiencing now. But looking back on my time at Truist, we have confronted seemingly insurmountable business challenges, along with many surprise twists and turns. I’ve seen our teams navigate these hurdles and mountains in ways that have not only made Truist teammates stronger, but all the more ready to face what's ahead. During these past 3 years, I’ve delivered solutions that cared for our clients, focused on our clients’ financial well-being and their businesses' growth, driven substantial value for our shareholders, and endeavored to help make Truist the absolute best place to bank. I want to take a moment to remind you of some of my many achievements, aided by my teammates. They are remarkable, and we should all be very proud. 

I became the biggest referring officer in my area within my first six months of employment, breaking a record and earning a promotion before the 12 month promotion window opened up. 

Upon my arrival at Pembroke, within my first few weeks, I secured Pembroke’s first qualified Premier and Asset Management referral in months which ignited a resurgence of production in the branch and spurred a strong run of qualified IRM referrals by not only me, but also my colleagues. 

Within my first 30 days at Pembroke, I took the branch’s Voice of the Client survey scores from 36% to 91%, a record-breaking jump. 

At Pembroke, even before attaining a leadership role, I had the privilege of mentoring other bankers, like Andrea Taylor, Daniela Tavares, and longtime friend Marci Ruffin, all who are still flourishing in the company today. 

I cross-sold products, across different divisions of the bank, making my partners' deal-closings easy and quick, earning me yet another promotion 6 months later. 

At the Strawbridge office, within my first 12 months as a lender, I became the third highest credit lending producer in the entire area, earning a corporate offsite trip to meet the board of directors. 

In Q3 of 2022, I produced an entire quarter’s worth of credit card production in just 30 days, another area record. 

In the last six months of 2022, I single-handedly wrote over 1.3 million dollars in loans with almost a million of it being produced in the last three months, outperforming many branch managers while only being a branch banker. 

I put up huge numbers again in Q1 of 2023, being responsible for 41% of our office’s 44 qualified IRM referrals, the highest share of our office's total production. It was this quarter that the Strawbridge office hit over 150% of our quarter's goal, with over 100% of it being in by the quarter's halfway mark - something Laura Finn told me had never been done in the history of our branch. I was recruited to Strawbridge to make the team better and to give us a "championship win"… I have accomplished what I was brought here to do. 

As I look back on these achievements, I want to sincerely thank specific Truist Financial Corporation employees, past and present, for your contributions to my time here both large and small. To Darius Hudgins, from the beginning, for bringing me into the company and for being the model as my district manager - one of the youngest VPs to ever do it. You have guided me, been there for me, and provided me with the motivation to put up that one million in lending that I delivered in a single quarter. To my aunt, Stephanie Paige, who has been a support system, a voice of wisdom, and a constant champion in my corner. My parents are thankful to you for always watching over me. To Katie Bagay - my partner in crime and my first deal-closer - in whom I've gained a lifelong friend, a confidant, and mentor; for standing by me in turbulent times, and always, always, always having my back. I appreciate you. To Katy Elliot - Katherine Scarlett -  we’ve been there to lean on each other these past few years, and I appreciate you greatly. To Susie Waugh, one of the GOATs and a true BB&T legend, who has served as a mentor for me over the past few years, willing to answer my calls on a whim, and giving me sound leadership advice when I've needed someone to talk things over with - always willing to be the coach. You told me I would contribute greatly to Strawbridge, but that I wouldn’t be here long - you’ve always seen my potential. You also told me I was cut from the Susie Waugh cloth, and I promise you that I will always “find a way to say yes”. To Cheryl Poarch, who knew my father before I was thought of and ended up looking out for his son like I was your own. I don’t have words to adequately describe what your friendship means to me, and I will miss working alongside you more than you know. You single-handedly revamped the operations at Strawbridge and our successful, passed bank audit - the first in a long time - is credited to your leadership. To Lori Ann Tamayo, the best wealth advisor I have personally ever worked with, I am eternally grateful for the hours of counseling and training you have given me. For, perhaps, some of the most impactful career advice I have been given thus far, for the late night phone calls about deals we’ve worked on, and for being my sponsor, I thank you. To Brant Standridge and Daryl Bible, for both their leadership and their commitment to our success. Thank you. To Kelly King, who taught me that a butterfly’s wing flaps can spur a hurricane halfway across the world, emphasizing the ability for one person to make a huge difference. To Laura Finn, arguably, the greatest lender this company has. You have taught me more in our time together than most vice presidents can ever teach a protégé. And for that, I thank you. You hand-picked me, pulled me out of the office I was dominating in, and helped mold me into the biggest producing lender Strawbridge has ever had on a banker’s desk. You and I did everything we said we would do. Thank you. 

Finally, I want to thank our founders, Alphaeus Branch and Thomas Jefferson Hadley - Branch and Hadley Bankers created a ripple effect that started in North Carolina and was felt around the world. Every entrepreneur’s wildest dream is to change the world with their ideas, and you’ve done just that. From day one, your vision and tenacity helped create one of the most special companies of all time – one that is currently employing more than 50,000 people, has generated billions in revenue, and has funded, protected the assets of, and banked a large portion of humanity. As I step into this new role in the wealth management segment of the banking industry, at one of the nation’s Big Four banks, I will take with me all of the lessons learned. Alphaeus and Thomas, I will forever be in awe of you and I will forever be your biggest fan.
