Scream Factory has revealed the specs for The Halloween 4K Collection (1995-2002), which will be released on October 4. The 4K UHD box set includes Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, and Halloween: Resurrection.

1995's Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers is directed by Joe Chappelle (Phantoms) and written by Daniel Farrands (The Girl Next Door). Donald Pleasence, Paul Rudd, Marianne Hagan, and Mitch Ryan star.

1998’s Halloween H20: 20 Years Later is directed by Steve Miner (Friday the 13th Part 2 & 3) and written by Matt Greenberg (1408) and Robert Zappia. Jamie Lee Curtis, Adam Arkin, Michelle Williams, Adam Hann-Byrd, Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, Janet Leigh, Josh Hartnett, LL Cool J, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt star.

2002’s Halloween: Resurrection is directed by Rick Rosenthal (Halloween II) and written by Sean Hood (Conan the Barbarian) and Larry Brand. Busta Rhymes, Bianca Kajlich, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Ryan Merriman, Sean Patrick Thomas, Tyra Banks, and Jamie Lee Curtis star.

All three films have been newly scanned in 4K from the original camera negative. They’re presented in in Dolby Vision (HDR 10 compatible) with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and Stereo options.

Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers includes both the theatrical and producer’s cuts in 4K. Joel Robinson designed the new cover art for each movie; the original posters are on the reverse side. Extras are listed below.

Repost from @rockyschenckofficial • Alice in Chains had a very specific idea for their “Dirt” album cover – a nude woman half buried in a desert environment. I suggested Mariah O’Brien as the model, who I’d worked with previously on Spinal Tap’s “Bitch School” album package. I vetoed the idea of shooting on location and opted to create the desert setting in my studio, where I could have complete control over the lighting and no time limitations. Mariah came over a couple of days before the shoot so I could measure her for the “hole” she would be buried in for hours. On the day of the shoot, Roz Music did Mariah’s hair and makeup, and then we carefully embedded her into the set with wet clay. My assistant Fredrik Nielsen and Roz spent about an hour drying the clay around Mariah with hairdryers. Bless her heart, Mariah was ultra-patient with me as I experimented with various lighting approaches... for hours and hours. Occasionally I’d crack some tasteless joke at Mariah’s expense – and she’d respond with a smile and a finger. About a month later, the band came over for a marathon photo session, and when they first walked in the door, they noticed my Matt Dillon rubber head “stand-in”. They seriously considered the idea of using this “head” as the album cover for “Dirt”, but ended up using it as a poster instead. On a side note, that “head” has been my lighting stand in for decades on hundreds of photo shoots. I bought it at an auction at Zoetrope Studios, and it had been created for Francis Ford Coppola’s film “Rumble Fish”, when Matt’s character dies and has an out-of-body experience.
