Okay, but it's been pretty well established that humans build in their biases into any code they create. AI is entirely code-based. You are taking a lot on faith that a true AI will turn out to be a paragon of morality and ethics. That sounds downright utopian.

The people who are most interested in creating AI are doing so out of pride and ego — they want to be the first to climb the summit and usher in the singularity or whatever weird BS philosophy they're into. They are going to, whether intentional or not, instille certain priorities and logic frameworks that will influence how the AI understands and parses information, as well as how it makes decisions.

We don't know what a true AI will be like but I think it's dangerous to make any sweeping assumptions about how it would view anything
