i already did some martin caregiver headcanons, but headcanons for the others will be under the cut!

ive been kind of stressed cause of school lately, so ive had a bit of trouble with regressing properly, so i made some tma moodboards! ill do some arab character stimboards if im up for it this weekend!

jon

voluntary and involuntary age regressor around 4-6

was regressing before he joined the mag institute

his first cg was georgie, then sasha and tim, then the whole staff. its currently just martin, but he never officially stopped with the others

can NOT handle bitter stuff. when hes little he cringes at tea with a lot of sweetners like he cant

he originally regressed at home for the most part, but after the prentiss incident, he started regressing at the archives a LOT more

gets rlly quiet and shy around others, but LOUD around martin, tim, or sasha

cant stay in one place. always wandering around somewhere

not a huge fan of reading kids books, but loves getting read adult books

hates his work clothes with a passion, so he keeps sweaters and sweatpants in a cabinet on his desk just in case he regresses

6-13 regressor and cg flip

started caregiving after meeting jon in research, but started regressing a bit after the prentiss incident

doesnt have a cg and doesnt particularly wanted one either

opposite of jon: loud and energetic at first but when you get close its almost pure silence

TOYS. action figures, calico critters, legos, whatever.

also a big fan of classic kids shows, like early power rangers or blues clues when hes younger

plays video games a lot when hes older, and he enjoys playing them with others

more private abt his regression since hes a lot more sensitive when hes regressed, but hes very open about being a cg!

older brother caregiver for sure! he was never able to be a good parental role model but can easily do one of a sibling

tim and martin (and sometimes jon but only when the others were busy) are her cgs

not a huge fan of nicknames that arent sash, but very much uses them on others

her regression is voluntary but she cant help but feel the urge to slip whenever she sees something like a box she can fit into

definitely an aunt cg. no rules, do whatever, but be safe!

loves reading stories to jon

KNEADING. she cant help it. she’ll just come up to tim or whoever and just. knead them

even if shes more carefree then most caregivers, shes still very good one and makes sure everyone is safe

i DO, thank u for asking!! (cw for some light angst)

-jon has two cat stuffies, one that he’s had since he was really young, the other martin gave to him

-they’re permanent fixtures when he’s regressed. he’s never separated from them for long

-(the older one is named bluebell, the newer one is named maple)

-doesn’t talk. only speaks in one or two word sentences unless he’s forced to sound ‘big’

-VERY embarrassed about his regression. doesn’t tell ANYONE

-martin has to put all the pieces together, research age regression, and tell jon “hey i think this might be helpful for you??” before jon is even willing to admit that there’s a tiny, remote possibility that maybe, sometimes, he occasionally feels a little bit younger than he is

-(they’re working on it)

-jon takes a long time to warm up to martin as a caregiver, even after they’ve already been together for a while, but once he does he’s very happy to be martin’s baby :)

-babbles a lot!! makes lots of noises just for fun!!

-he loves cats and bugs. he’s just obsessed with them

-(not anything worm-y tho)

-loves reading science books for kids!!

-likes easy reader books but won’t even touch any picture books

-he gets cold easily!! needs to be wrapped up in a blanket and/or fuzzy sweater at all time

-LOVES textured things!! could spend hours just running his hands over a soft blanket

-chews on EVERYTHING. he has chewelry but that doesn’t stop him from chewing on his clothes, martin’s clothes, the blankets, his stuffed animals, his toys, martin, literally anything in mouth range

-the sleepiest baby to ever exist. so so tired all the time

-VERY grumpy

-(but also giggly around martin)

-(tho he refuses to acknowledge the fact that he giggles)

-less uptight when he’s regressed, just wants to be cozy and sleepy

-still a very anxious little one though

-if he sees a spider he’s inconsolable for hours

-im convinced martin bought him some onesies, though it takes ages before he’s willing to wear them

-(when he finally tries them he immediately loves them)

-likes to play, but quietly. martin and jon’s home is always very quiet and peaceful when jon’s regressed, because the poor baby gets upset easily

anyway that’s all i have for now, although i’m sure i’ll remember some more later!! thx for the ask!!

anyways thinking of martin patiently listening to me explain all of my stuffed animals and tell him about all my favorite games. thinking of him helping me get ready in the morning, helping me pick out my outfit and brush my hair. thinking of how a hug from him would be the best thing ever in the entire world :(

i wish i could just conjure him up whenever i wanted him and he could rub my back and hug me and make me feel better . this has gotten kind of sad i don't know i'm all fuzzy right now and i wish he were real

little jon absolutely HATING it because it's gross and sticky and makes his hands feel weird and he doesn't wanna do it anymore!!! little tim absolutely LOVING it because woah. it's like. Slimy. and it used to be glue. and sasha can i please put glitter in mine. and can i have jon's.

martin ever so carefully helping jon clean his hands and making sure he doesn't feel guilty for not liking it because Ohhhh i was supposed to have fun. you helped me make it and it was supposed to be all nice. and i hated it and ohhh im so ungrateful. And martin telling him no no no. You don't have to like anything. it's okay . why don't we go color instead, hm?

sasha somehow having to get tim to Stop Sliming . but tim has practically Become slime there is glue and borax everywhere and he will never stop

I’ve seen posts about Tim being brotherly to the archive team and you bet I’m gonna use that in agere headcanons (cuz sometimes when ur small you just need a sibling)

-Tim likes to pull up a chair and let the babies watch him play Minecraft, or play along with the slightly older kiddos

-Tim is always willing to sneak sugary treats to the little ones even if their cgs have told them no

-(For personal reasons I also specifically think he’s good at making angel milk)

-Tim will also help them hide under desks or between shelves so they don’t get caught eating those treats

-If any of the kiddos ever get hurt or scared, Tim can calm them down by showing them the really weird stuff from artifact storage and telling them about how cool it is

-Tim is strong! He can probably give piggyback rides to everyone on the team, but he doesn’t get to do it often bc then they’ll run around the archives for an hour and nothing gets done

Bonus!! A couple character specific things:

-Tim makes Martin blush by buying him a new plushie while he’s living at the archives and bringing it to him in the middle of the day

-Tim regularly has to scoop Jon up after he’s been working for too long to enforce a mandatory nap time

-Sasha likes Tim’s piggyback rides the most, they always make her giggle. If someone else is getting one, even if she’s not regressed at the time, she’ll still ask if she can get one next

-Melanie doesn’t like to be babied when she’s regressed, so usually if she’s small Tim will sit with her and they’ll just eat fruit snacks and watch YouTube
