Trivia:

The opening dedication "For Dori" refers to Layne's youngest daughter, Doris, who was about six months old at the time of this video's publication.

This video was filmed at the Luxemore Grande Estate in Winter Park, which is primarily used for weddings and other large events. The venue coordination was handled by Jaimz Dillman, who had played Sarah Sanderson in PattyCake's "Hocus Heathens" Halloween video, and has continued to feature in their projects.

Leah has reprised her role as Cinderella in several episodes of PattyCake's "Princess Academy" series, as well as their "Disney Girls Like You" video in 2019, and their original piece "If the Shoe Fits" in 2023.

According to Bucky, there were many outtakes during the dance sequence because "the boots were big on me and that dress was ginormous".

The guys had known Bucky for many years prior to casting him in this project. He'd played the Wolfman opposite Tony's Dracula in the "Beetlejuice Revue" show at Universal Studios, and joined 4:2:Five as their new baritone when Layne switched over to vocal percussion in 2004.

A fan combined the audio from this project with footage from the 1950 Disney animated film to create a fantastic fanvid.

Many of the songs in this video were also later included in PattyCake's villainous Halloween offering for the year, "Look What You Made Me Brew".

Layne and Tony had previously sung a portion of "Bad Blood" in VoicePlay's "Aca Top 10 — Summer Hits 2015" countdown.

"I Knew You Were Trouble" was the foundation for VoicePlay's 2013 "Trouble" mashup music video with Rachel Potter, which led to them competing on The Sing-Off.

The dancers in the original "Shake It Off" music video include several of their fellow reality show veterans from So You Think You Can Dance — Phillip "PacMan" Chbeeb (s.5), Du-Shaunt "Fik-Shun" Stegall (s.10 winner), Jonathan "Legacy" Perez (s.6), & Melissa Sandvig (s.5).

La vasca…

Mi piace il vino rosso anche se non sono un esperto. Tuttavia l'idea di una visita enologica non mi dispiaceva.

In città vi era uno dei più importanti eventi, e lì incrocio da subito Martines.

Con tutta onestà trovai Martines più interessante del vino, specialmente dopo aver fatto alcuni altri assaggi e belle chiacchierate con risate, forse complice del vino, ma di certo trovammo una bella intesa, che non ci lasciò indifferenti.

Lei l'indomani doveva partire per Bruxelles, in quanto l'evento durava solo un giorno, mi disse l'hotel dove alloggiava, e in quell' istante decisi di rivederla prima della partenza.

Dovevo in qualche modo trovare una scusante, per tanto mi procuro il suo vino preferito, 

"Barolo Riserva Monfortino 2013 "

In tarda serata, mi reco al suo hotel, e gentilmente mi feci dare il numero della camera. 

Non sono mai stato così sfacciato, ma quella donna mi aveva colpito ed ero deciso alle mie intenzioni.

Due colpi di nocche sulla porta e lei aprì, le mostrai il suo vino preferito

«Visto che domani parti che ne dici se facciamo un brindisi al nostro incontro?»

Il grande reset.

No non è come pensate, oggi ho resettato la pedaliera alla configurazione di fabbrica, perché volevo ripartire da zero e rifarmi nuovi e più studiati set di effetti, dopo infatti un paio di ore ero ancora al primo perché quando parte la suonata bene non ci si ferma. Ho anche stampato, finalmente era ora, la manopola che mancava, persa durante un trasloco, ma è risultata troppo grande, l'avevo presa online, mi metto a modellarla simile alle altre. Ehhhh gnente volevo condividerlo con voi, così tanto per farvi partecipi di una giornata passata in studio perché poi mi sono messo a fare esercizi con le gambe e poi suonato come se fossi seduto davanti ad una platea. Stamane ho fatto anche un sogno di quelli assurdi, c'era Martines e gli Stoned Junkies anche se nel sogno si vedeva più sto tizio alla batteria, si lo so ero io il batterista, ma Massimo mi rimproverava incazzato, mai visto incazzato in 30 anni che lo conosco anche se non ci frequentiamo più per questioni geografiche. Dicevo che era incazzato perché diceva che se non mi mettevo in riga avrebbe tenuto lui come batterista, al che gli rispondevo che avevo bisogno di tempo e lui mi gridava che mi avrebbe dato 3 settimane, gli ho detto che non ci sarei riuscito in 3 settimane e li mi ha come mandato a fanculo, ma senza mandarmici. Poi la discussione si è spostata su "scrivi qualcosa allora", e io "beh questo lo posso fare anzi mi viene più facile e posso passare al basso visto che abbiamo sempre sofferto della mancanza di un bassista", al che si è calmato e mi ha detto "questo è già un passo avanti". Finito il sogno. Penso che la mia mente mi voglia dire attraverso la figura di un amico che è anche un grandissimo chitarrista che mi devo dare una mossa, però il reset lo volevo fare da tempo, ok cercherò di stringere i tempi ma senza forzarli. Mi sono preso bene con Takashi mi piace il suo stile pacato e quasi riflessivo.

Woof, do I have a lot to talk about here.

The Beagles was an animated series that aired on CBS in 1966, produced by Total Television. If that name sounds familiar, they're the same studio that produced King Leonardo, Tennessee Tuxedo, and more famously, Underdog. As the show name implies, it's a cheap parody of The Beatles. Interestingly, the show aired around the same time as the final season of the namesake band's own cartoon (you didn't know the Fab Four had a cartoon? They had everything!).

This album is the only proof of the show's existence. One of the co-creators said the show's editing materials were accidentally thrown out by the widow of the show's lead editor, which presumably included the film prints of each episode. I've heard that original negatives and audio tracks of the show were discovered in a warehouse in the late '90s, but I have yet to verify that.

By the way, the namesake Beagles were a duo instead of a quartet, named Stringer and Tubby. Stringer was a Dean Martin-esque guitarist while Tubby was a Jerry Lewis-esque bassist. Funny, since Martin and Lewis' music is nothing like the Beatles.

Time travel is a fascinating thing to contemplate. I think my first time related book was The Girl, The Gold Watch & Everything by John D. Macdonald loaned to me by my father and it made me think about being able to stop time and move through it to rob or play tricks or basically become invisible. Every time travel book I’ve read has the theory that changing anything in the past will change the future and rewrite history, as does this book. I wonder sometimes how hard it would be to show up in the past without the proper clothing, language skills, and deal with all that would need to be dealt with.

Dr. Robert “Rabbit” Ward is an archaeologist with mixed results in finding the artifacts he is sent for that are only to be found in the past. He also has a competitor-thief named Helen to deal with. Rabbit reminds me of another book my father loaned to me, The Adventures of Hiram Holiday by Paul Gallico. Hiram was an unremarkable man in appearance but surprisingly skilled and able to function admirably in dangerous situations then win the fair maiden in the end. Rabbit, too, is average in appearance, has skills to assist him, and seems to get along with women as well as others.

This book is not what I was expecting. It didn’t grip me and draw me in but as I was skimming it I could see that the plot and writing were solid, the history plentiful, action scenes were provided, and ultimately had me thinking “what-if.

 I have a feeling that many readers will enjoy this series and will eagerly await each book. I hope that future books will give more of Rabbit’s backstory, information about time travel and  what it is used for in Rabbit’s world, mention whether or not one can also travel into the future, and further flesh out the time travel aspects of the books.
