Holiday special: MHA Edition

Hey guys!! Here's the holiday special I promised! I'm so sorry you waited, I've been very busy eith college and work... More works coming soon!!

UA Students:

The UA decided to throw a big party for their students - after all, it's what they deserve after months of fighting villains and getting into life-threatening situations. The main hall, the dorms, classrooms - everything was decorated with ornaments and hand-made decorations students made. Some teachers, like Present Mic and All Might were rather excited, helping the kids with the decorations and even adding some holiday activities in their classes. Others, like Aizawa, weren't so stoked. As for the students, most of class 1A was very excited. It took some convincing, a hell of a lot of persuasions from the Bakusquad, and a few nice pleas from you and Kirishima, but Bakugo was finally on board as well.

Even though they work at different agencies, the pros always make time to hang out with each other during the holidays. Some of them are best friends, some of them are just work friends, and some of them even have rivalries, but the holidays are one time of the year when they can just have fun and be grateful that they are all well and alive. All Might tried to get everyone to come to the holiday work party, however not many came. Even though they love each other, the pros love their families and friends even more. And what's a better time to finally be home and spend some time with them than the winter holidays? You certainly thought so.

League of Villains:

Hey, just because they are psychotic villains doesn't mean they don't get to celebrate the holidays! Twice was the one who initiated a little holiday spirit, and all of them just went with it (unwillingly). Shigaraki and Dabi are the ones who complain the most about wearing the cliche Santa hats and having Christmas lights in their hide-out, but they didn't have the heart to ruin it for Twice, Toga, and you. It might have not been much, but you still exchanged little gifts on New Year's Day. All in all, it was the best holiday season any villain could ask for.

Masahirao Ojiro

He'd sometimes joke that he's a bit boring and plain (not true) while you stand out and look interesting to say the least (true).

If you need any pictures taken just ask and he'll be your photographer for a little while. He might not be talented or a professional but he does take pretty good photos.

Your makeup skills are pretty impressive and even though he doesn't know much about it he's still very likely to complement you.

Not to mention how good the costumes look on you. It's either that every character is a good fit for you or you just know who to choose.

It also might just be because he finds you good looking- no matter if you wear a costume or not.

Eijiro Kirishima

Sometimes he can't recognize you at all and while it's somewhat scary it's still incredibly cool!

But him not recognizing you doesn't mean that he doesn't know it's you. That gut feeling never failed him.

Sometimes he let's you practice makeup on him. He really likes it and often takes a picture with you once you're done.

Although he might not be the best at staying still he really just focuses his eyes on you as he listens for your directions (when to close his eyes etc).

While he'd really love to join in the hobby of cosplaying he really doesn't think that's for him. Sure he has a lot of fun helping you out but he doesn't think that he could sit in such costumes for a longer time. Be it for a session or a convention.

Fumikage Tokoyami

He doesn't really think much of it but he gives credit when it's due. You just always happen to look amazing okay?

His compliments can sometimes be a little bit odd but they're sweet in their core.

If you walk around in a cosplay and he's with you he sometimes gets considered a cosplayer due to his looks. It's a bit weird and awkward but after some time you decided together to just roll with it.

He doesn't really find this much amusing but in the end he sticks to what you two agreed on. It's much less hassle to let people think what they think than to correct them each time.

Looking at how often it happens... He thinks so too. Thanks to that you have a lot of photos together too, so that's a good thing no?

The girls of class 1-A sat in the commons area of the dorms. The boys had left for a pick-up game of basketball, leaving the dorms much....calmer than normal.

“Wow, it’s so quite when the testosterone leaves,” Jirou quipped, setting down a tray of tea and sandwiches. 

“It’s almost weird,” Uraraka took a cup, “But at least we don’t have to worry about Mineta trying to creep on us.” 

Ashido got wide eyes, “We don’t have to worry about ANY of the boys eyeing us! Quick! Let’s talk crushes and girl stuff! Free from prying boys!” 

Lin smirked, “Cool your jets, Ash. Let’s not get too ahead of ourselves.”

Yaoyorozu perked up, “Oh, I do enjoy engaging in the gossip!”

Asui shrugged, “Sounds okay to me, ribbit.”

Hagakure clapped her gloved hands, “Ooooh! I like it!! Okay, first up, thoughts on Oijiro?” 

Everyone groaned.

“Literally the entire class knows you two are into each other,” Jirou finally took a seat beside Lin on the couch, “While he is good-looking, he’s all yours.”

Uraraka pondered a moment, “Hmmm.... he and I don’t hang out much, so I can’t really say anything. But he is kinda cute.”

Ashido bit into a sandwich, “Hesh cute, but noh ihn ma top shree.” 

“Don’t talk with your mouth full,” Asui crossed her legs on her chair.

“Who’s your top 3, Ashie?” Yaoyorozu asked, sipping tea. 

“Hmmmm...” The pink girl thought a moment, “In no particular order: Bakugo, Kirishima, Todoroki.” 

Everyone tensed and turned to Lin, who was munching on her sandwich.

“....What?” the blue haired girl asked.

“You’re not upset?” Hagakure questioned.

Lin shrugged, “Sho is a handsome boy. I’m not surprised you see that.” 

Asui tilted her head, “Ribbit, you’re not jealous?” 

“Why would I be? He and I are dating- it’s not like he can’t talk to other people.” Lin drank her tea. “We’re just teenagers- we still have a lot of growing to do, and lives to live. I’m not gonna limit him like that.”

Yaoyorozu wiped a single tear away, “That’s so mature and pure.” 

“It’s just how healthy relationships work. He needs that in his life,” Lin’s eyes seemed downcast, “Anyway, what’s the next question?” 

“Excluding Todoroki, who’s in your top 3?” Uraraka leaned forward in enthusiasm.

“Midoriya, Kirishima, Shoji.” Lin said instantly. 

“That, ribbit, didn’t take long.” Asui put a finger to her cheek.

Jirou elbowed her side, “You got some wandering eyes, Dea~” 

“I’m with Sho.” She smiled, “But if I was forced to pick again that’s my list.” 

“O-oh...” Uraraka glanced at her feet, “N-n-neat.” 

Yaoyorozu raised an eyebrow, “Something wrong, Ocho?” 

“Rosy Cheeks is just flustered because she’s being selfish about confessing to Midoriya.” Lin sipped her tea again, “And now that I said his name, she thinks she has competition.”

“WHAT WAIT WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT CONFESSING AND TO MIDORIYA OF ALL PEOPLE NOOOOO IT’S NOT LIKE THAT I-” Uraraka put her hands to her face and floated herself away to the ceiling.

“How is she being selfish?” Ashido asked, munching on more food.

Lin shrugged, “Uraraka is so absorbed in hiding her true feelings that she doesn’t see how Izzy likes her too. It’s starting to affect their friendship, but neither of them want to make the first move.” She poured herself another cup of tea.

Uraraka dropped suddenly back into the cushioned chair, “WAIT Izuku likes me?!”

“Oh....I see what you mean, Dea.” Hagakure raised a gloved finger, “And the fact that Ura only just now realized it proves your point immensely.”

Lin drank more tea, “But that’s none of my business.” 

Yaoyorozu thought a moment, “Well, the boys will be back in a few minutes. Should we lure Midoriya into a room where Uraraka is and let them talk it out?” 

“That sounds like they’re playing a weird game of 7 minutes in heaven,” Ashido retorted, “We need something else.”

“Guys I’m right here!!” Uraraka waved her arms, “I’ll tell Izuku I like him when I see fit!”

“And how long will that take?” Lin eyed her, “You’ve had these feelings for a while and so has he-”

“Lin stop talking.” Jirou nudged her arm again.

Lin raised an eyebrow, and turned around to see the boys beginning to open the door, “Nice ear, Jack.” 

Jirou smirked, “Don’t mention- wait what are you doing.” 

“HEY IZZY!” Lin turned and stood up on the couch facing the boys, “IZUKU MIDORIYA!”

“Lin no-”  Yaoyorozu tried to get her down

The green haired boy froze, “H-huh? What’s up, Lin?” 

“URARAKA NEEDS TO TALK TO YOU REAL QUICK CAN SHE GO WITH YOU TO YOUR DORM?”

aaaAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! Uraraka’s inner voice screamed as her face turned bright pink. She flopped over, hands covering her face.

“Uh, okay?” Midoriya looked confused as ever, but began walking over to them. 

“Oh she will so kill you after this,” Ashido giggled as Midoriya took Uraraka’s hand and led her up the stairs.

Lin sat back down, “She’ll be thanking me tomorrow~”

Boku No Hero Academia - Gender, sexuality and pronouns (headcanon) pt.1

Before start:

I know that the fandom of BNHA is the most difficult one to expose sexuality headcanon because: "They are all straight" or "They are minor!". Well, I want to remind you that these are personal opinions that in no way ruin the characters. The author has never exposed himself to the sexuality of anyone, except for Toga, Magne and Tiger, so no, they are not "all straight" for sure, respect other opinions. Title: Of Shared Secrets, Stolen Kisses and Silent Hearts

People say she parted crowds like how Moses parted the sea. That she danced on the moon with stars. Really though, she was someone who loved to get lost in crowds.

Growing up, I had always been acutely aware of the winners and losers mentality. I understood the common idea of how a winner is someone who stands victorious over their competitors and a loser is everyone else.

Of course, it wasn’t the mentality I had grown up with. It was just always one I understood.

I believe, while fairly obvious, that parents hold the most power over what their child will become when they get older. The ability to mold their children starting from infancy into adulthood was very prevalent; even if one of those aforementioned parents are absent from the child’s life. The amount of power they hold is unfair yet the child is unable to even do anything.

When a parent is too soft their children become harsh believing that they can push older people around. When a parent is too harsh their children become rebellious, wanting to break free from the chains that their familial connection had become.

Finding a good balance between both of these would always be the hardest yet most essential thing for any parent. While no parent wants to believe that their child is the bully, they neither want to believe that their child is someone who falls victim either.

My parents fell on either end of this extreme scale.

My mother had been much too soft on my fellow siblings, though it was likely what made her the favourite parent. Her timid, and somewhat detached attitude, made her words weightless when she wanted to punish her children for misbehaving. And while she was much more caring than my father her lack of control meant that she didn’t hold much power in the household.

On the other hand, my father was harsh. His words were heavy and, despite his fiery attitude, they were cold. While no hard words had been shared, there had never been anything kind either.

It was almost this strange paradox where my siblings and I reacted the way we saw other children yet received none of the same affection. It wasn’t until we could understand the difference in treatment that we understood what had been so wrong.

The revelation wasn’t shocking but rather disappointing.

Everything just seemed to click into place, especially considering how my father was the prime example of the common winner and loser mentality. He knew exactly what he wanted and yet he was unable to reach the goal.

It had caused him to concoct this multigenerational plan. This idea that with the right combination of special abilities he would be able to create the child he wanted. He would be able to bring his dreams to life by living vicariously through his children.

The very idea was the reasoning behind mine and each of my sibling’s birth. It was so deeply rooted into who we were as people that it had become my purpose for living.

Like how a poison takes hold of its victim, this idea took hold of me and dragged me into a place so dark that I could no longer see who I truly wanted to be. To a place where I could no longer see who I was. The idea was me and I was the idea.

Of course, like all children who grow up with harsh parents, I had grown rebellious. Seeing the way my soft spoken mother was treated I grew furious. Even if a small part of me knew she wasn’t fully out of wrong, I knew that she didn’t deserve everything that had been thrown her way.

I wanted to prove not just my worth but hers but not needing his abilities.

Thinking back, the poison of my father’s dream had been so deeply rooted in me that it was the only thing I knew to want. It was actually rather pompous of me.

But nonetheless, it was the attitude I carried into my first year of hero school. With little to no interaction with others my age the person I had become was solely shaped by my two parental figures.

I needed to win.

Our first heroic lesson had been a simulation where each of our classmates had been paired up. Yours a group of three due to the uneven number of people in our class.

Half of us would play the villains loading a bomb while the others were heros attempting to stop them. It was simpler than a game of capture the flag.

Because of your late admission your hero costume hadn’t been finished yet. You, wearing the gym uniform, skipped into the building where the battle would take place as if you were entering a cafe.

Someone who didn’t seem to understand how much weighed on this single simulation.

You had been paired with the invisible girl, Hagakure Toru, and the boy with a tail, Oijiro Mashirao. Like your group mates your results from the quirk assessment had been mediocre, though unlike the two of them your quirk wasn’t as easily seen.

I barely even remembered what your abilities were.

Your abilities didn’t matter though and I doubted you and your group would beat me, even with the advantage of an extra person.

My chest filled with cold air as I touched the building. Frost filled the air before ice encapsulated the rest of the building. It creaked like rotting wood as my partner and I entered the building. Feigning caution as we made our way through the building, I thought for certain that each of you had been captured.

This was easily my victory.

And then you jumped out of nowhere! In an attempt to recover I tried to freeze you like I had done your teammates though had just ended up separating my partner and I as you doged to the side.

I briefly wondered if your ability had something to do with luck.

You ran across the ice as if it were concrete, easily doging each of my frantic attempts to encase you in ice. You were quick to target my left side which was encased in ice. Your moves were unorthodox though were seemingly patterned.

Every action wasn’t wasted as each unsuccessful attack seemed to build into the next one. You were like water moving through canvases and cracks, easily targeting my weak side.

How in the world could someone like you, someone ranked in the bottom half of the class, so easily overpower someone who had been training since he was young? Someone who should’ve been leagues ahead in both physical and special abilities?

You had managed to crack the ice on the side of my left arm, smirking for a moment before going in for what I assumed to be a final attack.

Before you could make it though, you had been knocked back. Shoji had successfully made it through the ice wall and sent you crashing into the wall.

While it was clearly my victory it left me curious.

I wondered if the outcome of the battle would’ve been if I hadn’t underestimated you.
