Masterframe for the 10sec animation. I think this frame captures the general idea of the animation. I wanted blocky and simply shading for the foreground and background. I hope to try animate some of this, however I don't know how detailed I can manage the hawk to be. i might have to simplify it as I move forward.

Tips for Selecting the Perfect Frame for Your Artwork
A good picture frame will usually look nice even if it doesnt contain a picture. However, the true sign of a good frame is that when it contains a picture, it will draw the attention of viewers to the picture rather than to itself. It goes without saying that a gaudy and improper frame will diminish the overall look of the picture. Or, it could end up distracting the viewers. A good frame will suit the size, the color and the shape of the picture. At the same time, it will not overpower the picture. People shopping for new picture or mirror frames would do well to keep these pointers in mind.
Tumblr media
Some of the attributes of a quality picture or photo frame include
Drawing the Viewer’s Attention to the Picture and Not to the Frame : When you come across a frame for a specific picture, consider the key aspects of the picture. Think about the elements that you want to accentuate by putting up the picture for display. For instance, light frames usually draw the attention of the viewers to the areas of contrast. They make the viewers focus on the softer lines in the picture. In contrast, dark and heavy frames can serve to accentuate deep tones or subdued themes.
Blending in with Other Elements in the Display Space : Consider the place where you plan to hang the frame. The frame will need to complement the decor of the space in terms of size, color and texture. This is why print framing professionals often exhort their customers to select frames having high levels of versatility.
Emphasizing the Color and Texture of the Picture : If you were to pick a frame that doesn’t suit the color combination given in the picture, the effect could be quite discordant and jarring. This necessitates selecting a frame that suits the color and the texture of the picture. Pictures with simple lines will look good in decorative frames. Similarly, pictures featuring busy scenes will look better in simple and plain frames.
Offering Easy Maintenance and Durability : Any Perspex framing company will be able to offer different kinds of photo and picture frames. Depending on your budget, you could easily pick any that appear suitable to you. But, not all frames go well with all pictures. So, you will need to pick a frame that goes well with the image. In addition, you will need to consider whether you want a frame with glazing that eliminates glare, ultraviolet rays etc. Lastly, pick a frame that is easy to clean and maintain.

So there’s a recent Tweet that says “Discover the Siege Story of Nighthaven at the Six Invitational!” and you can find this comic linked on the official Ubi page.
Now, I’m gonna discuss the content of the comic and there will be spoilers and my unfiltered opinion, so I’m putting it all under a read more so nobody has to read it if they don’t want to.
I like that Fuze is getting some spotlight, but not that they’re making them buddy-buddy with Nitehaven. Not by a long shot. I still think Kali is the worst fit ever for an organisation like Rainbow, and I hate the protagonism they’re giving Nitehaven in general. The more I see about the “new lore”, the more I think they’re just disgracing what they had from the start, which was solid and good. Also, I hope they don't try to make a plotline of how great Nitehaven is and how ops get into the organization and basically become Kali's henchment cause, ugh 🤢
Overall, this gave me two very definite vibes: first and foremost, it’s blatant advertisement for Kali’s upcoming elite, with the Masterframe Prototype II suit. Second, this only adds more fuel to my idea of Kali & Co trying to covertly take over Rainbow...
PS: if they make Fuze (or any other of the already existing ops!) switch to Nitehaven, I’m fucking done with the lore. Seriously. I’ll just write my thing and ignore all the Nitehaven bullshit and canon forever.

RobStar Valentine’s Weekend Day 2 - Date Night
(This one was fun.)
---
Her orange feet slipped into golden sandals.  Starfire wobbled a moment, adjusting to the heels, then leaned down and did up the straps.
She straightened when she was finished, giving herself a once-over in the mirror, turning this way and that in delight.
There.  She looked perfect.
Giggling, she grabbed up her clutch purse, her T-communicator tucked safely inside (just in case), and floated towards the door.
***
"And you're sure there's no crime alerts?"
Cyborg groaned.  "Man, for the hundredth time, there has not even been any loitering, littering, or jaywalking in the past seven hours.  Y'all are good.  Just go on your date," he grumbled.
Robin fidgeted with the knot of his tie, fixing its position, his eyes on the monitor display with a skeptical frown.  "Excuse me if I'd just like to have an uninterrupted evening for once," he said, witheringly sour.
"I'm sure if anything does come up, Raven, BB and I can handle it," Cyborg assured him, waving the boy off with his hand.
Robin jerked at the knot with a bit more force than necessary, accidentally pulling it loose.  He sighed in frustration, reaching up to fix it.  "Knowing our luck it'll happen right outside the restaurant," he muttered.
"We do kinda have uncanny timing," Beast Boy put in, from where he was watching upside-down, head hung over the edge of the couch and feet dangling off its back.
"Not helping, B," Cyborg growled through his teeth.
Raven cleared her throat from behind them.
All three boys turned to see Starfire standing in the doorway, beaming, her silky white short-cropped dress matching her million-watt smile.
Robin's expression went quite dazed and it took a moment for him to find his voice.
"Wow..." he finally said.
She laughed behind her hand, blushing.
"Yeah yeah, Star's gorgeous and it makes you catatonic, can you guys just go already?" Beast Boy whined.  He flipped himself upright, straining and failing to reach for the remote on the coffee table.  "I'm missing the Treasures of the Barbaric Deep marathon for your stupid last-minute crime check."
Robin pointedly kicked the side of the couch as he passed it, sliding his arms into his jacket as he walked over to join Starfire.
"Shall we?" he said with a grin, offering her his arm.
She slipped her elbow through his and turned him towards the door.
As soon as the door hissed shut behind them, Raven stepped over to stand by Cyborg's shoulder.
"You know he's probably slipped his communicator into his back pocket," she said dryly.
"Don't worry," Cyborg assured her in a sing-song, beckoning for her to see something on the screen.  "I went into the network masterframe and disabled the alerts on both their communicators.  They'll have a nice chaos-free evening."
"We hope," Raven said, unconvinced.  "Beast Boy has a point, we do tend to have abysmal luck whenever we try to go out and do something fun."
"C'mon Rae, who's gonna be tryna rob the Planetarium?"
She shrugged.
Cyborg rolled his chair back, switching off the computer.  "Now then," he said, "I believe we had a marathon to watch."
***
The line for the ticket counter was longer than he'd expected, winding from the reception desk through the main lobby of the Worthington Planetarium and almost back to the glass-door entrance.
"I did not realize this event would be so popular," Starfire mused as she observed the crowd.
"Good thing I got our vouchers early," Robin said.  He led Starfire to the Will-Call window off to the side, presenting the purchase proofs to the lady behind the glass, who scanned them, handed them their tickets and maps with a smile, and sent them off.
Now all they had to do was wait to get up to the front.
Starfire marveled around at the displays in the front lobby, as their line shuffled forward, the attendant behind the barrier letting groups in two or three at a time, so as not to crowd the enclosed space just through the door he stood by where the massive holoprojector--the first of its kind they were told--cast dozens of tiny images of stars and galaxies around the room.
Robin could catch a small glimpse of it from where they were, and it looked like it was going to be every bit as spectacular as advertised.
Then something caught his eye that made him frown.  A furtive shadow, sneaking around the corners of the room.  A figure heading for the Planetarium's normal exhibit halls.  Robin squinted past the giant plasticine model of Jupiter and registered a green jumpsuit and large goggles perched on top of a bald head.
He smothered a groan.
Oh for the love of--Gizmo?! he thought in disbelief.
The little gremlin had better not be there to swipe the revolutionary holoprojector technology making this evening's event possible.
Gnashing his teeth, Robin made a quick decision.
"Hey, Star?" he said, slipping his arm out of hers.  "Hold our place in line I need to step out to the bathroom for a moment."
She nodded with an affirmative, "Of course."
He smiled at her before stepping out of line, then walked as casually as he dared towards Hall A.  No reason to make her suspect anything was up.
Once he was behind the model of Jupiter, Robin crouched down low and trotted quickly to catch up to the pint-size villain, who was fiddling with a hand-held sensor and cackling softly by the fire alarm on the wall.  He hadn't pulled it yet, and he never got a chance to, as Robin snagged him by the collar, pulling him bodily off his feet and swinging him around to deposit him in a secluded corner.
"Gaaah!" the boy yiped as he flailed around in surprise, dropping gadgets to the floor.  Gizmo squinted up at him, his sensor down loosely by his side.  "Bird Boy?!  What the hell are you doing here?"
"Could ask you the same thing," Robin said, taking his voice low and dangerous.
"None of your cludging business!" Gizmo snapped.  Then his eyes widened as he got the full force of Robin's intimidating glare.  "Uh... I mean... nice suit?" he stammered nervously.
Robin kept his eyes pinned on Gizmo, tranquil fury burning from every rigid line of his posture.  "I'm going to make things very clear," he told Gizmo, his voice even but lined with anger.  "I am on a date.  We have been looking forward to this for a month.  Starfire looks absolutely gorgeous.  I have made plans for dinner and dancing and stargazing afterwards and I will not have you ruining this for me," he emphasized, his grip tightening on Gizmo's collar.  "Am I understood?"
The boy gulped.  "Crystal," he squeaked.  Robin released him and he picked up a few of his dropped gadgets numbly.  "I'll just... go back to the hideout now and... play video games all night.. or something," he muttered.
Robin grinned.  "Glad we could come to an understanding."
He waited, watching with stern folded arms until Gizmo had exited through the side door, before turning around and rejoining his girlfriend in line.
"Is everything all right?" she asked in concern.
He swept up her hand and gave her palm a kiss.  "Everything's good," he promised her.
***
The docu-show was already playing in the holoprojector room, on a continuous loop that, the attendant told them, would cycle through its program every forty-five minutes.  A narrator intoned over the speakers as the holoimage danced and shifted, zooming on star clusters and constellations, taking the viewers on a journey through the Milky Way.
Starfire was absolutely delighted, reaching out to touch the glimmering floating images and marvel.
Robin thought the program was well put-together and very informative, and he had to admit the technology definitely enhanced the experience to awe-struck levels.  They stayed for about an hour, just long enough to hear bits and pieces of narration they'd already listened to, then wandered the rest of the museum for another hour.
Dinner was pleasant and uneventful, and Starfire was warm as he held her in his arms, gently swaying back and forth to the music.  It wound up getting too cloudy for stargazing but Starfire was adamant she'd had a beautiful evening, so they just decided to come home.
Robin checked his communicator with a frown, noticing it didn't seem to be synced properly.  He fiddled with it a couple moments, then put it away, taking Starfire's hand as they headed for OPS.
"And the wild game platter--What did the waiter call it?"
"'The Huntsman's Treat'," Robin supplied.
Starfire nodded.  "I enjoyed that the most!  The quail was gamey but very well-seasoned.  It reminded me of the Garbok birds on Selrik Pri--"
She cut off, eyes widening as they stepped through the door.
"X'hal!" she exclaimed.
She and Robin gaped at the frazzled conditions of their teammates.  Cyborg was holding his right arm, his left leg missing from the knee down and loose sparks popping.  Raven's cloak was disheveled, the clasp had broken and she was missing a shoe.  Beast Boy's hair was sticking up and he looked singed from head to toe.  All three of them were covered in a gelatinous green substance that was dripping on the carpet.  A few chairs were overturned and the main screen blinked on and off with an all-clear message.
Cyborg was the first to recover from his paralysis, giving a nervous grin.  "Hiiiiii Rob!  Uh..."
"Did you enjoy your date?" Raven interrupted, staring at the couple with some desperate look in her eyes that pleaded for them to say, yes they did.
"Yeah, um..." Robin stammered, glancing around them room and seeing additional green glop coating the walls. "Yeah, it was great," he said absently.
"It was wonderful!  Truly a lovely night!" Starfire assured them, her hands curling up by her chest in no small amount of concern.
"Good..." Beast Boy croaked, slumping over into the couch cushions with exhaustion. "Then all this was worth it..."
Starfire opened her mouth to ask a question but stopped when Robin tugged on her arm, pulling her back towards the hallway.
"Let's... ask them in the morning," he said, giving one last look around and then shaking his head as he led her out.

(Not So) Simple Mission
Author’s Note: Finally got to this request! Italics mean it’s in the past/someone’s memories. It’s my first time incorporating past & present so feel free to send feedback on how I did :)
Prompt: 16- You know I’d do anything for you.  17- Are you hurt?  26-I don’t understand why you’d think that
Pairing: Peter Parker x Reader
Word Count: 1509
Warnings: it gets a bit angsty & there may be cussing, I don’t remember
Peter knew that your first mission would be nerve wracking and he’d be stressed about your safety the whole time, but boy was this worse than he expected. Cap promised this was an average get in, grab the drive, get out mission. No one thought that 50 Hydra agents would waiting in the shadows for your arrival. No one thought that so much ammo would be needed. No one thought that Bruce and Cho would have to perform emergency surgery on the Quintjet as it zipped through the sky towards the tower. It was supposed to be a simple mission to let you test the waters of what Avenger Missions would be like.
“You ready for your little girlfriend to become a full fledged Avenger?” Tony asked, slapping an hand on Peter’s shoulder.
“I guess. I mean, she’s been doing a lot of training with the team so she should definitely be prepared. And Steve promised to keep the mission simple so she could get a field experience without all the craziness of whole Hydra attack.” He laughed off the thought. Hydra wasn’t even affiliated with the base they were going to, so everything should run smoothly.
“Hey babe.” You placed a kiss on Peter’s cheek, taking a seat next to him before Steve’s rundown of how the mission should go. Who would’ve thought that being raised by a former US assassin and military intel-personnel would set you up for becoming an Avenger. You just figured every kid grew up doing drills, hardwiring, and playing ‘hide and strike’. But you couldn’t complain, your parents just wanted you to be able to defend yourself and be able to do something worth meaning in your life. And being one of the youngest people ever to be recruited for the Avenger’s was one of the most meaningful things to ever happen to you.
“Y/N, you’re going to stick with Nat. Once Sam and I give the coast is clear, you two are going to make your way to this room,” He pointed at a small office on the model of the building. “Then you’ll use those computer skills of yours to get as much information from the masterframe to this hard drive. Just give us a heads up before you head out and we’ll all meet back at the Quinjet.”
You nod your head to the Captain, letting him know you were good with the plan.
“Wait, what about me?” Peter piped up, his eyes darting at the blond supersoldier.
“Oh yeah Peter. Uhh, you can just keep an eye out. Since Buck isn’t coming, you can rest on the roof and let us know from above if anything seems off.” With that, Steve dismissed the team to suit up and get on the jet.
Peter couldn’t stop pacing the length of the waiting room. You’d been in surgery for hours and Banner still hasn’t come out to give him an update. God, he couldn’t lose you. Especially not due to a mission that was supposed to be so simple.
A door closed behind Steve as he made his way towards Peter, “Peter, I-”
“You said it was an average mission. You said Hydra wasn’t even involved! She’s on that table because she trusted you that it would be a smooth mission, Steve!” Peter’s voice cracked, but that didn’t lessen the blow Steve took from it.
“Peter, we didn’t know. None of our scanner’s picked it up.. I’m sorry. But she’s strong. She’ll get through this.” He sent the young boy a sympathetic smile and left the room, not wanting to be blamed, yet again, for someone being hurt on a mission.
Steve and Sam gave the all clear, but this was certainly not clear. Maybe one or two agents would have been fine for you and Nat, but 50? Oh this was a bit beyond your training.
“Y/N, Nat, five more coming in on your left!” Peter’s voice rang through your earpiece. Turning down the hall Peter specified, you and Nat held you guns up and charged at the upcoming agents.
Things got messy fast and before you knew it, you were standing alone in one of the many halls of the building. God, Steve couldn’t have picked a place that wasn’t a complete maze? Trying to calm your breath, you silently made you way down the hall, away from the noise of fighting. You came to a door labeled “INTEL” and pushed it open, eyeing the computer you had to access. Shutting the door behind you, you walked to the computer and got to work praying that everyone had the agents handled.
“Peter, is y/n with you?” Peter’s heart picked up at Sam’s question. Wasn’t she with Natasha?
“N-no. She’s not with Natasha?”
“No, we got separated when those 5 agents came for us.”
“It’s okay, I’m fine. Just downloading the last of the hard drive.” Your voice calmed Peter instantly.
“Y/N, we’ve got to go now. There’s too many agents and we’re running out of time. Peter and I will come get you, just stay where you are.” Steve used his Captain voice and you knew it was getting bad, but you had to finish the mission. You wouldn’t fail your first time out in the field.
“Okay there’s onl-” an explosion cut off your response, causing Peter and Steve to go into panic mode.
By the time they reached you, you were bruised and bloody, a desk and some concrete laying on top of  your legs and torso.
“Oh my god, y/n!” Peter’s voice sounded so distant and his face seemed blurry. “Are you hurt? SHit, no shit you’re hurt. No, no don’t move.” He held you down on the ground as Steve called for backup and to tell Banner to get the med team ready.
“Me hurt? I don’t understand why you would think that.” You sarcastically replied, though now was not the time. Your eyes felt heavy as you let them slowly shut.
“Stop talking. Just, oh god stay with me babe. Come on, open your eyes. Steve! We need to get her out of here!”
Six hours. You were in surgery for six hours as Banner and Cho tried to assess as much as they could. Broken leg, tons of internal bleeding, bruised this, sprained that. Just about everything, but you should pull out fine and be healed within time.
“Okay Peter, you can go in but keep in mind she-” before Banner even finished, Peter pushed past him and into your room.
Frozen in his spot, he took in your scared and bruised face. This wasn’t supposed to happen, and it broke his heart that it did.
He put on a smile and took a seat at your side as your eyes fluttered open, squinting at the bright light in the hospital room.
“Hey, love.” a tear escaped, but he wiped it quickly, taking your hand in his. “Good to see you awake.”
You hummed in response, stretching your limbs. “How long was I out?”
“Couple hours. You got beat up pretty bad out there.”
“God, it feels like it. I think I need a new kidney or something,” you joked.
“I can call in Banner. We can prep for surgery and you can take mine,” Peter responded, not so jokingly.
You laughed at his eagerness, “Pete, I’m fine. Just joking. Beside, you hate being put under. You wouldn’t do that for me.”
“You know I’d do anything for you,” he said, a seriousness filled the room.
“I know. And I love you for it. Even if you’re a bit of a dummy,” you tried lightning the mood.
“Yeah, I love you too.” He rolled his eyes. Just then Steve made his way into the room.
“Oh, I didn’t know you were.. I’ll just come back later.” Steve turned to leave but you called him back, Peter sending Steve a look.
“I hope you aren’t blaming yourself, Steve. This wasn’t your fault. Besides, if anything I shouldn’t have kept going when I knew the situation was well out of my training.” You sent him a soft smile, hoping the old man would cut himself some slack.
“Thanks y/n. Maybe once you’re up and running again, I can give you some extra training?” he returned your previous smile, “No hate towards Nat, but I think you could benefit from being exposed to different levels of training and conditioning.”
“Sounds good Steve. I’ll see you later?” you noticed him making his way to the door.
“Of course.”
“Don’t hate him Peter. You know it wasn’t his fault.” an accusing eyebrow raised towards Peter as he stumbled to find his next words.
“I know, it’s just easy to lash out. I wasn’t sure how you’d come out of it. And I guess, if you don’t want me hating Steve Rogers, then I won’t. Like I said, I’d do anything for you.”
He kissed your head and stayed with you until sleep took over you, pulling you into some much needed rest. Peter dozed off to, just glad to know his girl was safe.

PowerColor Red Devil RX 6600 XT: Review | Hashrate | Specs | Ethereum
Tumblr media
PowerColor Red Devil RX 6600 XT: Review 2021 | Hashrate | Specs | Ethereum - The AMD RX 6600 XT is a video card of the intermediate segment, focused on gamers seeking a board with performance to face FullHD at full quality and high frame rate. After scaling the RDNA 2 architecture for a market focused on 1440p, it's time for owners of 1080p monitors to be given an option to replace midrange cards that are no longer up to the task, such as the still very popular GTX 1060. The AMD did not work with reference design in this product, and we only have models partner with this chip. In this review we will use the PowerColor Red Devil Radeon RX 6600 XT , a very robust design based on this Radeon chip and with a powerful power and cooling system, as well as an imposing look, typical of the Red Devil line. Radeon RX 6600 XT  GPU  graphics cards were announced with a suggested retail price starting at $379 , putting it $50 more expensive than GeForce RTX 3060 12GB and also representing a $100 increase over its predecessor Radeon RX 5600 XT . As we have warned, this is the reference prices of AMD and Nvidia, which have rarely come to reality due to the global economic context. Despite the official price of $329, the cheapest RTX 3060 we found was in the $699 range on Newegg, giving an example of how completely decoupled from reality are the values suggested by GPU manufacturers. https://www.instagram.com/p/CSSexMWLmEm/embed/ IMPORTANT NOTICE: with the current market making any price comparison impossible, we are left without minimum references to recommend or not a product. Because of this, we will no longer distribute seals and recommendations for analyzed products until the situation normalizes, since cost is a fundamental guide in our interpretation of a product.  RDNA2 The RDNA2 arrives with important leaps in performance and efficiency compared to the previous generation. AMD claims that the new RDNA2-based chips can deliver a performance jump with twice the performance, and an efficiency jump with up to 54% more performance per watt consumed. AMD's new microarchitecture is still based on the same 7-nanometer lithograph used in first-generation RDNA, for example. Gains were achieved through manufacturing optimization. The result is up to 50% less energy consumption to operate at the same frequencies as the RDNA 1, or at the same consumption level to increase the operating frequency by 30%. These gains were the result of a series of optimizations, such as increased refinement in frequency variations, higher operating clocks, pipeline redesign, better geometry distribution and tessellation. However, without a doubt, one of the technology that brings the most profound changes is Infinity Cache. With the increasingly heavy duty cycles, AMD took a different approach from the faster GDDR6X memories and larger interface of the GeForce RTX 30. Bringing the expertise of the processor area with the chipsets, AMD introduced 128MB of memory acting as a cache of level 3. Bringing a concept similar to the Infinity Fabric, present in Ryzen, this technology was named Infinity Cache. This new technology is also partly responsible for the greater energy efficiency of RDNA2, while also reducing latency by 34%, on average, compared to first-generation RDNA. Another important new feature is the introduction of dedicated hardware to speed up the Ray Tracing process . For this, AMD implemented one "Ray Accelerator" per computational unit, delivering up to 10x more performance than the software implementation. These units have the objective of calculating the intersections of the tracing of light rays, a process that is completed by the traditional shaders of the computational units. This enables effects such as realistic reflections and dynamic global lighting, with more realistic shadows and lighting. In addition to Ray Tracing, RDNA2 support features such as Variable Rate Shadding , which makes it possible to devote less processing power to parts of the image; the introduction of Mesh Shaders , a much more efficient implementation of the use of shader resources; and Sampler Feedback , which uses data from the previous frame to more efficiently determine how textures will load. All these features together are essential for better use of hardware and to enable better graphics, with a good level of performance. The RX 6600 XT The RX 6700 XT is based on the Navi 23, which brings technologies and features similar to those present in the RX 6900 XT and RX 6800 XT models, but scaled down. This board brings a total of 32 computing units, far from the 80 present on the top of the line RX 6900 XT, and just below the 40 present on the RX 6700 XT. As a result, other structures were also reduced. The amount of Infinity Cache was reduced to 32MB, while Ray Acelerators, specialized in accelerating processes related to Ray Tracing, are also reduced to 32, because in RDNA 2 microarchitecture we always have one Ray Acelerator per Compute Unit. In computational units this chip is below the Compute Units count of the RX 5700 XT (40) and RX 5600 XT (36). But in contrast the evolutions of RDNA 2 compared to the first generation brings its advantages, an example is the clocks. The RX 6600 XT boosts up to 2589MHz much higher than the respective 1905MHz and 1560MHz of the RX 5700 XT and RX 5600 XT. Consumption has also scaled down, with the board operating with just an eight-pin connector and with an estimated total consumption of 160W. The memories suffered advances and setbacks compared to the one used in the predecessor RX 5600 XT, with the memory increased from 6 to 8GB GDDR6, but the memory interface was reduced from 192-bit to 128-bit, with memory bandwidth falling from 288 GB/s to 256GB/s, all this comparing how it was on the RX 5600 XT to how it was on the RX 6600 XT. The board has two power connectors, one 6-pin and one 8-pin. On the back it also has a blackplate with an LED in the form of the logo that references the line. Like most cards today, it occupies two PCI-Express slots. In the video connections part, three DisplayPort 1.4a and one HDMI 2.1. system used We made a change to our graphics card testing platform, now based on an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor. Several other high performance components come with this system, such as NVMe SSDs and 32GB RAM clocked at 3200MHz (CL16). Below are some pictures of the card installed on our new video card test bench: https://www.youtube.com/embed/WiSR-IHhBuc Before the tests, details of the machine, operating system, drivers and software/games used in the tests: OUR TESTING MACHINE, APPS AND GAMES WERE UPDATED IN MAY 2021 Machine used in the tests: - AMD Ryzen 9 processor 5900X- GIGABYTE X570 AORUS Xtreme motherboard- HyperX Predator RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz CL16SSD - Kingston KC2500 250GB + 2TB SSD- Cooling system CM MasterLiquid ML360 V2 RGB- Source Power Supply CM v1300W Platinum- Custom CM MasterFrame 700 Enclosure Operating System and Drivers:- Windows 10 Pro 64 Bits- AMD Catalyst Adrenalin 21.7.x Applications/Games: - Adobe Premiere CC 2021  (GPU rendering)- Blender (GPU rendering)- SPECviewpeft 13 (Solid Works/Maya, GPU rendering)- 3DMark (Fire Strike Ultra / Port Royal)- Assassin's Creed Valhalla (DX12 )- Flight Simulator 2020 (DX11)- Forza Horizon 4 (DX12)- Grand Theft Auto 5  (DX11)- Rainbow Six Sieg and (Vulkan)- Red Dead Redemption 2  (Vulkan)- Resident Evil Village (DX12)- The Division 2 (DX12)- Watch Dogs: Legion (DX12) GPU-ZBelow the main screen  GPU-Z  showing some key features board techniques. Overclock We use AMD Radeon Software to overclock, setting the base clock at 2500MHz and the turbo at 2700MHz. It wasn't possible to raise her standard clocks that much, but otherwise the clocks are quite high. This made it possible to run the tests with stability and complete the full battery. The memories went up from 16GHz to 16.6GHz, the limit to keep the system stable. NOTE: Overclock at your own risk. Overclocking may result in loss of warranty. Energy consumption We started with power consumption tests with all the boards compared. All tests were done with the same system, which gives an exact idea of what each VGA consumes. It is worth noting that the value is the total consumption of the machine and not just the video card, which gives an idea of how much a complete system consumes. Comparisons with tests from other sites can yield very different results due to changes in the systems used. The tests consist of the minimum consumption of the system, when it is in idle mode after the maximum load test, in this case running 3DMark through Fire Strike Ultra mode. https://benchmarks.com.br/graficos/v/15033?iframeid=15033 https://benchmarks.com.br/graficos/v/15034?iframeid=15034 NOTE: In the test running the 3DMark application, we considered 5 to 10W as a margin of error, due to the variation that happens when testing the same card. Temperature Another very important test when we talk about video cards, the chip temperature. Tests consist of either the system in idle mode or in continuous use. It is important to note that some cards have a system that turns off the fans when the GPU is not being required, such as when performing simple Windows tasks or even simpler games. Therefore, there are temperatures considerably higher than some models in this situation, but in practice they do not compromise the board. According to the manufacturers, this feature increases the lifespan and consumes less energy. Therefore, there can be large differences in the idle mode temperature, which does not characterize a bad card if the temperature is high. Why did the board get a lower temperature when overclocked? This is a normal situation on current boards. The rotation of the FANs is faster and consequently they make the GPU cool down faster, in some cases with a lower temperature than in the normal situation. Why does the reference system cooler board have a lower idle temperature than a theoretically better cooler board?Because current video cards with newer cooler designs tend to turn off the FANs when the temperature drops below numbers like 40, 45 or even 50 degrees, so when the FANs are turned off the tendency is for the GPU not to lower the temperature any more than than the limit that turns off the FANs. First let's test the cards with the system in idle mode: https://benchmarks.com.br/graficos/v/15035?iframeid=15035 For the in-use board test, we measured the peak temperature during the Ultra mode tests. https://benchmarks.com.br/graficos/v/15036?iframeid=15036 NOTE: Temperatures can vary greatly depending on the region of the country, system where the board is installed and test used. Below are some photos of the plate with a Flir thermal camera, showing the temperature in some parts of the plate body: Applications With the increase in applications that take advantage of the processing power of GPUs, we've updated our test battery with some of the most important software on the market. Adobe Premiere CC 2021Adobe Premiere is a world reference when it comes to video editing software, and in its latest versions it has also taken advantage of the benefit of GPUs to help speed up rendering. Below is the behavior of the compared plates: https://benchmarks.com.br/graficos/v/15037?iframeid=15037 BlenderAnother nice test to see how the video card behaves in helping with the process of rendering images and videos. Blender stands out for being open to use and also updated with the latest technologies on the market. https://benchmarks.com.br/graficos/v/15038?iframeid=15038 SPECviewperf 13The professional application test suite is comprised of a comprehensive battery of hardware-intensive scenarios to render diverse uses ranging from architecture, mining, and medicine. We ran two tests, one focusing on performance in Maya and the other in SolidWorks. https://benchmarks.com.br/graficos/v/15039?iframeid=15039 https://benchmarks.com.br/graficos/v/15040?iframeid=15040 3DMark And if we talk about benchmarks, we couldn't leave out one of the most iconic tests in the world, especially for video card performance, 3DMark. Our battery consists of three tests, but 2 of them show technologies that only newer board models bring, Ray Tracing (Port Royal) and DLSS (DLSS Feature Test). We ran the latest version of the app from UL Benchmark (which purchased Futuremark), and all tests consider the default profile setting, with no changes. Below are the results: https://benchmarks.com.br/graficos/v/15041?iframeid=15041 https://benchmarks.com.br/graficos/v/15042?iframeid=15042 Game tests Now let's get to what really matters: performance tests on some of the top games on the market.
