My little headcount on Valerian
after Valerian took his father's place, he tried to find free time in his work schedule and visited orphanages in order to make sure that children live in good conditions and made large donations to the foundations of orphanages

last night I had a dream that matt and valerian were at the hyperions bridge (with some of the crew) and matt was being sad and insecure (?) abt his job and Valerian was trying to cheer him up so he knelt with one knee in front of matt , opened his arms wide and said "look how far you've gotten" then matt said "but im already 34" really sad and Valerian answered , like some inspirational speech "but they dont know you're 34" then the crew that was there started cheering and applauding and matt even teared up a bit . then Mira that was on a screen probably watching the scene just said something like "what's this gay shit going on?" then the dream ended 😭😭😭😭😭😭

& Juliet 8/31/24 Notes (Bobby’s Last Shows)
Mat
- esosa!gregory debut! also matt!may, makai!romeo, megan!angelique, phil!lucy, jas!helena, ava!rosaline and joe!richard
- from where I was sitting for act 1 I got to witness a really cool visual of phil from the back kneeling and looking up at makai when he was sitting on the tomb
- joe and esosa running off together holding hands after the soliloquy
- philippe did finger guns to matt on “I just like kissing you” and then immediately took off his glasses and put his head in his hands in embarrassment
- esosa adding a “what…” before “do you mean romeo montage”
- jas said “did my heart love til now” in a way I have never heard them do before
- daniel and esosa got EXTREMELY close to kissing during the henry and gregory moment in KAG
- paulo did a full down-on-one-knee kneel on “if you want it, take it”
- megan was very smiley during teenage dream
- philippe did two thumbs up and then down at some point during the scene when he’s in the armor
- joe going “period!” in reaction to “and you’re not invited!”
- joe catching the towel for the first time
- najah going “you’re a genius” to drew during romeo’s entrance
- with phil!lucy dancing with joomin!kempe, there were more queer couples than straight couples at the wedding
- philippe skipping to go get on the table during confident
- jas as helena! finally got to see it she was great
- drew turning “to be with romeo” into a “to be or not to be” joke by going “to be… with romeo”
- obsessed with the sharpe KAG costume. adding it to the cosplan list
- there was a small child sitting next to me and during the second KAG kiss they went “again?” in a confused but excited way
- drew bringing back the “alas poor yorick” pose for “am I original?”
- matt did an absolutely beautiful opt up at the end of NAG
Eve (Bobby’s last show)
- same cast except michael!may and matt!gregory
- very loud cheers for bobby when he walked onstage
- bobby got a standing ovation after the rumour solo
- phil going “didn’t know he had a WIFE”
- philippe did the “innocent” riff again!
- philippe repeated the phrase “I don’t know” like 5 times before finishing the line of “I’m not really into drama or like big public performances”
- jas!helena was great during the mat but they one upped it at the eve holy shit
- philippe didn’t do a fall when maya pushed him off the bench
- maya stopped doing the thing where she points the dagger towards herself
- joe massaging bobby’s head and daniel massaging his shoulders during SUBG
- when they’re hanging out by the jukebox during SUBG, daniel took two bottles and clinked them with bobby’s bottle in a silly way and it made him laugh
- seeing drew take off his hat and makai take off his jacket and put them in a box while they were behind the painting
- bobby doing the “star crossed lovers what” mimic with virgil
- bobby taking a selfie with the camera at the end of SML
- makai going 🤫 to megan when grabbing the hat
- makai singing “I never knew that you could mean so much” instead of “I never knew that it could mean so much”
- joe grabbing bobby’s hand and squeezing it as he walked past them during the finale
- bobby high fiving everyone EXCEPT andrew after his solo (he very much skipped him on purpose and wasn’t even subtle about it)
- philippe quietly going “okie.” after lance’s line as he’s leaving the stage after oops
- something that made my heart drop was when the stage manager came onstage during intermission to make an announcement that turned out to be that there was a mix up with the understudy slips so some said matt!may and esosa!gregory instead of michael!may and matt!gregory so it was just a clarification on that
- when bobby walked past phil to go sit down during BOMT he reached his hand out to them and squeezed their hand

For, not only is he scarily ambitious, in fact, but also he is remorselessly combative, and the senior lieutenants whom he has gathered around him are of like mind. Winning means everything to them. It is why they have been so successful. Their only mode of defence is attack, and that approach comes from the top, which means Horner, yes, but also Helmut Marko, Red Bull’s autocratic 80-year-old ‘adviser’ (the inverted commas are my own, intended to indicate the extent to which such an apparently innocuous job title underplays his enormous influence on the organisation).
. . . .
The last time I spoke to him was on the afternoon of Friday November 24 2022, in the Abu Dhabi paddock. I was by that time working as Aston Martin’s comms chief, and I had escorted our team principal Mike Krack to the FIA press conference, in which his fellow panellists had been McLaren’s Andrea Stella and, yes, Horner. As we all filed out afterwards, by chance I fell into step alongside the Red Bull boss. “Congratulations on a great season,” I said to him. “To win 16 grands prix [which would become 17 two days later], well, that’s impressive.”
He stopped dead, turned to face me, and shook me by the hand. “Thank you,” he said. “Thank you very much. You’re literally the first person from any other team who’s said that to me.” I had not been expecting so florid a reply – a muttered “Cheers” was probably more like what I would have been anticipating, had I been minded to hazard a guess. So, now, reflecting on our exchange, I reckon the explanation for his unusually generous reaction to what was a pretty humdrum compliment must surely be that the ruthlessness with which he and his cohorts have achieved what they have achieved has made his rivals unwilling to extend such normal courtesies to him.
Or, to put it bluntly, not many F1 people like him very much.
_ Matt Bishop, excerpted from "Christian Horner's 'scary ambition' that was obvious the moment he entered F1" Motor Sport Magazine, Feb 28, 2024

i haven't actually seen anything to say that the person accusing horner is a woman? where did you get that from?
hi! sorry, it took me a while to reply to this.
quick note: the post that i made initially was in regard to the information that i had access to at the time, which indicated it was a female employee who made the accusations. it was primarily intended as a critique of how the whole situation is getting grouped into the greater "silly season" narrative and centralizing Horner and his achievements, while glazing over the fact that there is actually a legitimate investigation taking place.
i've done my best to try and compile some of the stories coming out about this but please keep in mind that a) it's a developing situation, and b) there's lots that hasn't been released to the public yet.
early on, the majority of the news coming out was via Dutch/German sources (primarily De Telegraaf), so a lot of initial information was relayed via translations done by people on social media.
Tumblr media
via @/scuderiafemboy on X — @/leclercsletters and @/fiagirly also posted significantly about this
following that, i did some of my own searching/scrolling and found these two articles (snippets shown below) that indicated the complaint came from a female employee at Red Bull.
Tumblr media
via 'Christian Horner accused of inappropriate behaviour by female colleague' by Matt Lawton (The Times UK) — *this article is paywalled*
Tumblr media Tumblr media
via 'Christian Horner subject to Red Bull investigation over ‘inappropriate behaviour’' by Kieran Jackson (The Independent)
however, i will say that now there's more coming out now (ie: within the past few hours) suggesting that the complaint is more about his "aggressive management style" than anything else. this is still a bit unclear though, because plenty of people are questioning why Red Bull (+ parent company) would launch an independent investigation into something that is strictly of that manner.
Tumblr media
via 'Red Bull investigating F1 team's Christian Horner over alleged misconduct toward team employee' by Jenna Fryer (The Toronto Star)
basically, the situation is ongoing and there's a lot that hasn't been clarified yet. Sky Sports made a video speaking a bit about the investigation, but it pretty much relays the same information that's been circulating since the morning.
Tumblr media
via @/SkySportsF1 on X
please remember that it's important to do your own research as well! i'm happy to compile some of this stuff here but there's also no way i can keep up with all of it unfortunately, so i'd recommend finding additional sources online if you're curious :)

what has been happening in the world of motorsports?
Ben Sulayem said that FIA is taking hands off approach to Horner's allegations for now despite it being damaging to the sport and overshadowing the start of the new season unless they take a complaint through their compliance officer - their official stance after a meeting they had yesterday between FIA and Horner
speaking of Horner, there has been speculation mostly in British tabloids, that his wife Geri is devastated and boarded a plane to leave Bahrain, they denied those claims by walking into the paddock hand in hand today though
our comms claimed that another e-mail came to the same people from the same source that said there is more and they will send it too if there is no action
Technical director Matt Harman and head of aero Dirk de Beer will leave Alpine in April after handing notice a few weeks ago
Charles said yesterday after quali that the previous day FIA tried a new rule concerning the maximum delta lap time and standing/slowing down in the pit lane, but it was so bad they all complained and FIA went back to how it was in 2023
Domenicali suggested that in 2026 we may see European race rotation, because fans proved there is still interest there and more and more locations will be announced soon
Fancode received exclusive rights for F1 broadcasting in India
Pirelli tyres will comply with environmental and social criteria required by FSC

20 questions for fic authors
tagged by @courtofparrots
1. How many works do you have?
20
2. What is your Ao3 word count?
122,736
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Just Resident Evil rn, but I've written for Starcraft, MTG, Fire Emblem, pokemon, and X-Men. (Some of them aren't things I've bothered putting on ao3, and I know I had one X-Men fic on AO3 at one point but I deleted for reasons I can't remember tbh.)
(Also for the rest of these questions I'm just going to focus on my RE fics since my others are all ancient)
4. What are your top 5 fics by Kudos?
1. How Do You Talk To Girls?
2. oh my god, it's my life, what am I doing kicking at the foundation?
3. Something A Little More Plain
4. Digital Man//Open Secrets
5. The Analog Kid
5. Do you respond to comments?
I try to, but I'm not always great at it. I 100% do read and appreciate all of them, brain machine is just bad at responding
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
a long-awaited treasure at the end of my cruel fate
(Obviously)
7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
well it's not posted, but the series that starts with sum of my confession will have the happiest ending
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not yet (I would welcome it tho because spite motivates me. I came up with my entire "Luis was groomed by Umbrella and went to a special Umbrella boarding school" headcanon because someone said the timeline for Luis is LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE and THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY he could believably be 28 in RE4 and I was mad and wiki deep dived for other RE child prodigal and found out they had a whole ass sketchy boarding school for child prodigies they poached)
9. Do you write smut? If so, which kind?
I try, but I always feel so cringe about it and don't post it so ://
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest crossover you’ve ever written?
Not seriously
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
No
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
back when I was in middle school on quotev lmao
14. What’s your all-time favourite ship?
For "all-time" I'm going to have to be niche and say Valerian Mengsk/Matt Horner because I have shipped those two the longest/most consistently out of everything I've ever shipped
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
oh god so many. mostly the second chapter of my "first" (technically it was my second and another was first but I deleted it for Reasons) Serrennedy fic. The draft just got too messy and there's so much that I've just given up on it
16. What are your writing strengths?
I'd say dialogue!
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Everything except dialogue lmao, but especially action
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I'm not brave enough to
19. First fandom you wrote for?
I was literally writing pokemon fanfic in first grade. any time we had a creative writing assignment where it was possible I would write a pokemon story.
20. Favourite fic you’ve written?
Oh god that's a tough one. Generally whatever I'm working on the most is my favorite, so I'd say Is Any Killer Worth More Than His Crime? but that feels like a cop out so,,,, Digital Man is really high up there, but I feel like the fact the fic that comes before it in the series (New World Man) is 100% my least favorite and my worst fic drags Digital Man down by association. So I think the number one spot should go to oh my god… instead.
as usual anyone who wants to do it can say I tagged them :3

I bought $40 worth of equipment to be able to upload this video to YouTube and I made my first Tumblr account ever to be able to share this video with you all. (Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTs_awKUKqk&)
Hilarious Office-style mocumentary featuring some of the cast of Avatar 1, starring Kevin Dorman and Alicia Vela Bailey. They play Mansk and Z-Dog in The Way of Water by the way! But they're actually involved in so much more in the franchise.
Other cast members include Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Matt Gerald, and Joel David Moore. Also features an amazing scene with the late James Horner, composer for Avatar 1.
It's fantastically funny.

A DISSERTATION ON ASTEROID CITY
Leaving a showing of Wes Anderson's latest film "Asteroid City" a few weeks ago, having pondered and puzzled over the anarchic, metatextual and science fiction vibes of the entire project, I was certain of one thing by the end.
I'm pretty sure that Wes Anderson is on the autism spectrum.
Like, there's really no other way to explain his quirky, offbeat, and matte painting filled style - the dude oozes hyperfixation and fascination with the strangest of details, and it's really proven by the way "Asteroid City" plays out.
Early on in the film, one of the three leads, junior astrologer and scientist Woodrow Steinbeck (played by Jake Ryan) is playing a name game of sorts with his fellow Junior Stargazer recipients, wherein one person mentions the name of a famous scientist or artist and the other person adds on to that, continuing in a Simon Says-like chain until it should, theoretically, be hard to follow.
After several names have been said and it's Woodrow's turn again, one of the other stargazers challenges him to name all of the people previously mentioned - in reverse order. He does it flawlessly. Since I know others on the spectrum that could do that with the entire alphabet at a young age, you can probably see where I'm getting at.
Later on in the film, following a military quarantine following the inexplicable arrival of an alien to the titular small town, we see the same stargazers - and what might they be doing now, you might ask? Continuing the same game with gleeful abandon and now throwing celebrities like Marilyn Monroe into the mix.
Of course, this isn't the only spectacularly bizarre detail that appears or re-appears throughout the course of the film. At three separate occasions, a slapstick worthy police chase and shootout involving no less than three vehicles passes through the main road of the town, with little acknowledgment from those who see it other than a shrug. It's not necessarily how the gag plays out in this case, though - rather, it's how it's set up and visually portrayed - almost with a sense of lucid unreality and focus on the particulars of what is happening. It's as if Anderson is relishing in the outright batshit insanity of it all - much like the entirety of the food critic hostage situation segment in The French Dispatch and the entirety of Fantastic Mr. Fox, two of his other works.
When you throw in various similarly odd running jokes involving a dancing roadrunner, someone burning their hand on a patterned griddle, a literal highway overpass to nowhere, real estate being sold from a vending machine, a Rod Serling style-guide who presents the play within a film setup in a loving tribute to the creation of such arts (and even intrudes on the "play's" narrative at one point by pure accidental happenstance), and nuclear bomb tests, it's easy to see why a case could be made for Wes' clear and uniquely neurodiverse position on the spectrum. Everything about "Asteroid City" might seem random at first glance, but there's a clear rhyme and reason to Wes Anderson's madness and how the entire narrative works and plays out.
Neurodivergent brains function in a state that is far from what might be considered societally normal or typical, tending to be drawn towards particular obsessive interests and playing with them in a style or voice that is uniquely their own. Over the course of a few decades, I have developed mine - with a love of films being among them. So, when I see a film like "Asteroid City" and admire its tonal consistency with such a wildly inconsistent set of characters and situations, having a clear love of well placed 50's and 60's musical needle drops and a song about the arrival of a benevolent alien told in an appropriately folksy style (Anderson even apologizes to the inspiration behind the song in the end credits for good comedic measure) in the same manner as my love of motorsports, Pixar films, and the scores of James Horner, I can only once again come to one conclusion.
I'm absolutely sure that Wes Anderson is on the autism spectrum.
