Of course you can! I feel like there's a misconception here, Beeter is fine with physical contact. It's just when it's TOO much, like gripping them aggressively or something, and being taken by surprise/without permission.

I understand that phobias are difficult to grapple with, but I hope you are able to avoid being cruel to these animals wherever possible. They are just trying to live their lives and want very little to do with humans. Very few species are medically significant.
