Growing up, I never had it with Eggs. Always just matzoh and butter. I've made it with eggs as an adult a few time, but maybe its the childhood nostalgia but it's just better with no eggs.

Around pesach I will dig this fucking discourse up and force everyone to make it with no eggs at least once.

Matzoh brei is supposed to be a buttery heart attack. Plus, anyway, removing eggs makes it less calories, so there we go, new health food! (This is a joke, I know that's not how you determine how healthy a food is)

Unopenable Jar of Gefilte Fish!

Could Not - COULD NOT - get my jar of Mrs. Adler's 'Jerusalem Style' (sweet) Gefilte Fish to open! I am a senior and have arthritic hands and fingers and the damn top WOULD NOT come off! I ran it under hot water, poured boiling water over the top - I even put the jar top upside down in an inch of water and got it boiling - NOTHING! Oddly, the metal top has indentations to help you grip it, but the smooth jar does not! {Needs a re-design, Manischewitz!}

I finally had to resort to drilling a hole into the metal top to break the seal! Even that did not work right away, but I was able to get the top off and pour the contents into an easy-open plastic container and toss the jar & wounded top away! I hope I do not have metal shrapnel in my gefilte fish!

There has got to be a better way!
