Pinky And The Brain go to a firework festival

It was a very special day, it was the day of the firework festival, and Pinky And The Brain were going to the park to watch the fireworks.

“Egad Brain, I am so excited to see the fireworks tonight! NARF!" Said Pinky excitedly as he raced around ACME Labs like a firework rocket.

"Yes Pinky, it's going to be amazing! I love firework festivals." Said The Brain as he got ready.

Once they got ready, they headed to the park to enjoy the firework festival.

When they got to the park, they spotted their voice actors, Rob Paulsen And Maurice Lamarche sitting down on the grass.

“Hi Rob! Hi Maurice!” Pinky and the Brain said Excitedly.

“Hi Pinky! Hi Brain!” Rob and Maurice said.

“Are you here to watch the fireworks?” Asked The Brain.

“Why yes we are.” Said Maurice.

“Hey, Mind if we sit with you two?” Asked Pinky.

“Sure you can.” Said Rob.

And then, Pinky sat down in front of Rob, And The Brain sat down in front of Maurice as they waited for the firework show to start.

5 minutes later, a firework rocket blast into the night, Pinky, Brain, Rob, And Maurice watched with amazement as the firework exploded, showering the sky in colorful rainbow lights.

The firework festival had begun.

"Ooh! Aah!" Pinky cried out excitedly as he saw the fireworks explode into beautiful multicolored lights.

Pinky turned and smiled at The Brain,

"NAAAAAAAAAAAAAARF! Look at all those colors! Isn't it pretty, Brain! They're so colorful!" Said Pinky happily.

"Indeed. It is quite a lovely display to look upon Pinky.” Replied The Brain, still mesmerized by the multicolored display.

As more firework rockets blast through the air, a loud cheer rang out throughout the park from people celebrating the fireworks.

As the fireworks continued, The Brain kept his attention glued onto the colorful display, watching the bright bursts go off, illuminating the sky for miles and miles.

He was completely enthralled as the colors danced across the sky.

His eyes were wide open as his mouth fell into amazement.

The Brain never knew something so spectacular could exist.

"Woah! How pretty." Said The Brain as he looked on, watching the multicolored colors shine brightly.

The explosions went off one after another as the sky filled with color.

Pinky Oohed and Aahed joyously as his eyes sparkled as well as the sparks.

"They are so beautiful!” Shouted Pinky as the fireworks went off, filling the sky with color.

"Oh yeah! Those really do look wonderful, don't they? The firework show sure does have some beautiful effects.” Exclaimed Rob.

"Mhm! I think the best part is watching the firework show. It makes me happy seeing the colorful display!” Said Maurice as he too looked up at the bright colors that lit up the sky.

"Ooh! Pretty colors!" Pinky shouted as he also looked up at the glowing colors in the sky.

"Yeah it does make my heart light up whenever I see them." Added Rob.

"The firework show is the most amazing sight I've ever seen. It gives me hope every time I see it." Said The Brain, looking at the beautiful lights in the sky.

Pinky sat in awe as they watched the firework show, watching the multicolored flashes in the sky as the colors illuminated the sky.

Pinky and The Brain sat there, looking up at the colorful displays that filled the sky with pretty colors.

“Ooh! Look at that sparkly one Brain! It’s so pretty!” Pinky said, pointing up towards one of the firework explosions in the sky.

“I agree, Pinky, that is a wonderful sight indeed.” Said Rob, nodding his head in agreement.

“Yeah! It’s a lot of fun looking up at the colors in the sky.” Explained Maurice.

“Yes, it is quite a spectacle isn’t it?” Answered The Brain, looking at Pinky, Rob, and Maurice.

“And look at the big finale going off!” The Brain said.

During the finale of the firework festival, huge golden fireworks exploded and sparkled in the sky.

And then, just like Japanese Hanabi, little explosions popped in the sky.

And then, a second later, loads of little fireworks crackled, and decorated the night sky in loads of pretty rainbow colors.

“WOW!” Pinky, Brain, Rob and Maurice yelled out in amazement as they stared up at the fireworks exploding in the sky.

“Ooh! So pretty!” exclaimed Pinky as he clapped his hands in delight at the colorful explosions in the night sky.

”It sure is,” said Rob smiling widely.

“So pretty. So pretty.” Said Maurice smiling as he watched the fireworks twinkling in the night sky.

“Look how many colors there are!” Pinky said to the Brain as he pointed upward, “Look at all those colors!”

The Brain loved watching firework displays. He adored the colorful lights popping up in the night sky.

And most of all, he loved seeing Pinky get so excited about the display.

He always wondered why Pinky loved the show so much, but he was glad that Pinky enjoyed the show so much because that made him happy.

Because he knew that Pinky loved fireworks.

But Pinky loved all things related to fireworks.

He liked the color and the smell of fire.

He liked the sound of explosions.

He liked to see them pop up in the night sky when they were in public places like parks, or in school, or during holidays.

Pinky loved fireworks so much.

He loved them so much.

He loved the explosions so much.

He loved the noise.

He loved hearing the whistles, crackles, bangs and pops of the fireworks.

And He loved the way they illuminated the night sky in loads of pretty colors.

And so, when the fireworks faded out, everyone, including Pinky, Brain, Rob, and Maurice, fell silent, and then, everyone started cheering and applauding, saying how pretty it was.

It was. It was amazing. It was so beautiful. It was so pretty.

And then, everybody started heading home.

“Egad Brain, Rob, And Maurice! That was amazing! What was your favourite part of the firework display? Mine was definitely the grand finale. that rainbow burst at the end was just so pretty! What about you all, what was your favourite part of the show? Pinky Asked still amazed at what he’d just seen.

“Well Pinky, My favourite part was everything. I enjoyed watching the colorful explosions in the sky, the beautiful colors, and the colorful lights. Not to mention that huge rainbow firework at the end. That was so pretty” Said The Brain as he stared up into the sky.

“My favorite part of the fireworks show was when the fireworks burst in the sky. That was the most magical sight ever. It was so beautiful. It was such a show of color. The rainbow explosions and the rainbow flames. it was just so pretty, Pinky.” Said Rob as he smiled happily at Pinky.

”Well, my favourite part was watching the finale when all those rainbow fireworks lit up the night sky. They reminded me of when I was growing up in Toronto, every year I would go out and watch the Canada Day fireworks at the Harbourfront. The fireworks we just saw tonight were so beautiful. And the rainbow firework at the end was so pretty!” Maurice said happily.

"That is wonderful to hear Maurice.” Replied The Brain.

“Well, me and Pinky have to get back to the lab now. It was so great to see you Rob and Maurice!”

“Goodbye!” Pinky and the Brain Said as they walked back to the lab.

“Goodbye!” Rob And Maurice Said.

Back at the lab, Pinky was watching video footage of the firework festival they just went to.

“Ooh! Aah! Pretty!” The Brain walked up to Pinky.

“I’m so glad that you enjoy the firework festival tonight Pinky.

Now come, We must go back to the cage and plan for tomorrow night.” The Brain said.

“Why?” Pinky asked, What are we going to do tomorrow night?

“The same thing we do every night Pinky,” The Brain said, 

“Try to take over the world!”

101 Dalmatians II: Patch’s London Adventure

I never thought I’d ever describe Mulan 2 as original and daring, but it’s starting to feel that way. 101 Dalmatians II: Patch’s London Adventure feels more like a rip-off made to cash in on a desperate audience’s nostalgia than a sequel.

One year after their escape from Cruella de Vil's clutches, the 101 Dalmatians, their pets Roger (Tim Bentinck) and Anita (Jodi Benson), and Nanny (Mary MacLeod) are leaving London to go live on a farm. When they depart, they accidentally leave behind TV-obsessed Patch (Bobby Lockwood). When he bumps into his hero, the heroic cinematic canine Thunderbolt (voiced by Barry Bostwick), they set off on a media-grabbing adventure. Meanwhile, cured Cruella de Vil (Susanne Blakeslee) begins reverting to her old self when she sees an art exhibit of black spots on a white canvas.

I had hope when this film began. The re-introduction of Cruella is cleverly handled. She’s been put through the wringer thanks to her dognapping scheme being exposed (I’m not entirely sure how that happened considering the only witnesses were dogs… did the dalmatians testify in court?) but still craves fur. When she spots that abstract art exhibit, it's funny. She becomes obsessed with dots and the artist (Martin Short as Lars) thinks he’s found his muse. Looks like they spent those 42 years polishing the script!

My hopes were quickly dashed. This plot is nothing special. 101 II is a little more than a jazzed-up episode of the 1997 TV series with a bigger budget and a lot of material borrowed from the Disney Classic. The new villain isn't interesting. We don’t get to know any of the Dalmatians besides Patch. No surprise but it’s like if Gremlins 3 followed some random Mogwai instead of Gizmo. Something's missing. This sentiment also applies to the visuals. In a way, this movie looks just as good, if not better than the original with its frequently sketchy lines… but this makes it look generic.

I hate to keep comparing the two, but let’s examine some facts. This movie was made decades after the first. It’s released on home video and depends on you having seen the first one to understand what’s going on. It’s aimed solely at children whose untrained eyes won't notice the difference and haven’t seen enough movies to recognize how predictable this tale is.

The humor is broad and there aren’t any chances taken character-wise. I noticed at least a couple of plot holes or mistakes and I wish I could give away a truly baffling moment at the end but I can’t so let me say this: When Pongo, Perdita, Anita, and Roger are off-screen, something big happens. When they learn about it, they’re not surprised at all. How come?

The animation looks pretty good, but overall, the film is just the same pieces you’ve seen before, shuffled around, and tacked onto a generic story. I don’t hate this movie; it just fails to rouse any enthusiasm at all. If you do choose to check it out, stick around to the end of the credits. There’s a scene worth waiting for. Captain Simian & The Space Monkeys - Splitzy's Choice - September 21 1996 Written by Pamela Hickey and Dennys McCoy - Directed by Brad Rader The ship is damaged and the crew goes to a planet to get more flux, to repair the ship before it is too late.   The title of this episode refers to the Orangutan  Dr. Splitz / Splitzy splitting into 2 separate Space Monkeys. Which is a common trope of having a hero learn to love themselves. Buffy The Vampire Slayer did this with Xander in the S05E03 The Replacement, which aired 4 years after Splitzy's Choice. But something that is very cool, is the opening feels very much like some of the stuff in the first episode of Firefly, The Train Job, and also the heist at the beginning of the Firefly movie Serenity.
