Who fucking knew, and also as creepy as they look I think that’s the most realistic designs for them I’ve ever seen. We need to talk about it, it’s perfect for autism awareness month!!

Max strips out of the sweats and his boxers, grabs one of Charles’s abandoned shirts to clean up the extra still on his dick and doesn’t turn around until he’s got another pair of pants on.

It’s still a mistake. Looking at Charles is always difficult, but the bite mark feels like it starts boiling when his eyes find the other man.

Charles’s eyes are glazed over, pupils blown so wide his usual brightness is shaded over and darkness underneath looks hungry. His hair is a mess, the smooth skin of his shirtless body looks so warm and it's all background noise. It falls flat against the bright red blood staining his perfect lips, little trails running towards his ears from when they were entwined on his bed. He looks like some kind of painting, romanticism, too raw to stare directly at.

any gardening advice for dealing with a million pill bugs consuming the plant life in a supremely wet climate? (there are so many they are killing my strawberries and rhubarb everything says wait for it to dry out but it is dry for like 2 months here max (pacific northwest) any and all wisdom will be accepted please god)

I regret to inform you that the real solution is multi-year terraforming, but this is also our duty as residents of planet earth.

The GOOD news is that in the interem, you can surround your strawberries with Diatomaceous Earth to protect what's left of them (make sure to dig around the stems to get any lurking there), and that when you break it out over the course of a couple of years, the terraforming is very manageable in both physical effort and financial impact.

The reason you have an ungodly number of ravenous rolly-pollies is because you have an even more ungodly number of rolly-pollies than you are imagining that have fuck-all to eat and fuck-all eating them. I do not know the exact circumstances of your yard, but odds are your property has no isopod food or real predators because it's either been terraformed into suburban sterility OR terraformed to sterility and then neglected, which is not the same thing as rewilding.

I can't speak to the PNW specifically, but I highly recommend reaching out to your county extension (look up "(your county name) extension phone numer/email") and they'll be able to give you contact information or websites for people who can tell you how to basically re-terraform your yard back into a viable landscape with native plants and minimal upkeep for your area.

Once you've got the local ecosystem going again, the isopods will leave off your strawberries to eat their normal detritus and will also be a lot more cautious about roaming far and wide for food once their predators like Woodlouse spiders, centipedes, frogs and newts and almost all birds are regularly patrolling the garden.

@headspace-hotel definitely knows more about this than I do, but I've had a lot of success with diatomaceous earth as a short-term protector, and every time I've put in more native shrubland/steppe plants in CO, my pest problems in general go way down.

YN got there early. The moment they walked into the store, one of the employees immediately recognized them and waved. They waved back and sat at one of the tables, not wanting to order anything yet while waiting for Kenma.

Right at 2:30 Kenma walked into the small cafe. YN walked over.

"Hi! How are you today?"

"Oh, hi. I'm okay. Were you waiting?"

"Not for that long, don't worry. I just didn't have much to do once class ended so I changed and headed over. I got here like five minutes ago." they waved his concern off before turning to the menu. "What do you want? I'd personally recommend a slice of one of their pies, they're all really good."

"Hm." He walked over to the display case and looked at the options. "I'll take a slice of the apple pie."

"Nice choice! I haven't tried it myself but one of my friends really like it. Hmm... I think I'll have the strawberry rhubarb." YN glanced to the employee who happened to be listening. "And I'll take your recommended drink."

After they got their food and drinks, the two walked over to one of the empty tables to discuss a few things. YN pulled out their laptop and shifted it so Kenma could see the screen.

"I made a list of a few things I felt like were important to discuss with each other."

YN did in fact leave their class early (the prof takes attendance in the beginning so they got full attendance marks since he didnt even notice)

They were running back to their shared appartment with Iwa as they called Tsuki (they almost tripped while trying to explain everything to him)

Realistically, it didn't take them that long to decide on an outfit (like 10 minutes max) but then YN spent the rest of the time worrying about how to talk to Kenma so they made the bullet list to try and at least have a baseline to start from

YN was purposefully excluding Oikawa because it's 1/2 am for him

I love Kenma but I'm also convinced unless he is fully interested in the conversation/it's with one person he's comfortable with he can be dry asf

The range of time of when I drop these posts keeps getting more chaotic, it really just represents the ruin my sleep schedule is in

One of the funniest but also hardest things about this is because my normal writing tends to be so much more formal than this but I want the writing portions to fit the vibe but also just be goofy so don't expect anything crazy from them :b

it just baffles me that I'm like the only one I see online with actual problems and I'll tell you what it is with this cookbook.

The people making CONTENT on the books (Julien...that themed cookbook guy) they're having fun bc

1) its a cute book ...as a BOOK

2)people are beholden to stardew valley bc they love the game. I love the game. And the recipes aren't bad per say. They seem fine. I'm going to the store in a bit to maybe buy some stuff for the veggie plates like autumn bounty.

But this isn't my first time at the stupid cook book rodeo. And I've had ACTUAL cookbooks before. I gave a bunch of them away when I moved down here bc I didn't need "how to cook japanese food" when Just One Cookbook exists online lmao

I used to have that thick tome but was also somehow super small of the betty crocker cookbook. And I use blue apron on and off whenever I have the extra cash. So I'm PRETTY FAMILIAR with cookbooks or reading recipe cards and its just....

The book has NO pictures of the food being ACTUALLY cooked. Its either before pages or after pages of like "Here's the rhubarb pie!" like that's cool. You wanna show me HOW I should be cutting the rhubarb? or what the crust looks like?? Or....ANYTHING AT ALL.

They use up valuable space in the book with spot illustrations and yeah there are a LOT of recipes but a lot of these recipes don't need a giant Junimo with a chef hat when the paragraph next to it has like 12 steps per paragraph and NO photo about the cooking process

and thats the main problem and Julien and that other youtuber BOTH said the same thing. There's TOO MUCH TEXT. And thats not inherently bad in a cookbook. But nothing is Bulleted or Numbered. And without photos its really easy to lose your spot.

Compared to both the smap cook book and sanji cookbook the steps are SHORT and precise and not overwhelming.

I even have the max fundrive cookbook and that has very few pictures but bc of the page limit and size of the book and the INTENT of the book (Its intended to be like..your mom or your bud is telling you how to cook something they know from memory). The steps are STILL bulleted(kinda) out even when parts are kind of long. But again bc THAT book is so small you're looking at maybe...three or four steps for NOT complex recipes. The McElroys have spaghetti as their recipe. Thats the kind of recipes you're looking at. Its very beginner friendly so it doesn't NEED a ton of photos.

Where the Stardew Valley cookbook has a lot of fish dishes, desserts (DESSERTS ESPECIALLY~!!!! NEED BULLETED STEPS!!!!), and vegetarian versions of non vegetarian foods (The Survival Burger...which has beans. Yuck)

So my main take away for a cookbook. Is if I, as an average cook, who lives alone, and has very little patience or attention span (thank you adhd).....if I look at your book and go....

I'll just go buy something.

ITS NOT A GOOD COOKBOOK.

Again i think the recipes are FINE as a whole. They're just.....terrible to read or even use practically. And I think that is mostly at fault of the design of the book itself.

Also the number one complaint for the PHOTOS is that the photo of the fucking pizza ISN'T.

The Pineapple Curry is a photo of an empty pineapple, curry powder, and some peppers.
