Good morning to all the #neverkamala pro Palestine protest voters and the “influencers” who asked their followers to abstain from voting or vote Jill stein. Where is she btw?? Did she crawl back into her hole now that the election is over?

Anyway good luck and just know that those protest vote influencers who influenced you won’t be suffering. They’ll be sleeping perfectly fine. The victims will continue to be victims and those that actually did the right thing will now be forced to suffer as well because of short sighted ego. And those that protest voted will continue to deny any accountability and “oh it didn’t even make a difference guiseeee I swearrrr” stfu.

Let me be clear i in no way agree with maya ayooni and neither do i want to hate to be sent to any black woman as one myself. If i had to and was of age in america i would vote for kamala because i understand 3rd party politics. And you used maya ayooni (who i completely disagree with apart from palestine) and she is a 3rd party voter so it was definetly directed to them. But to misdirect the hate on 3rd party voters, which you admitted is wrong and as i said doesnt acknowledge the real issue. That racism, radicalism and extremism is increasing every single day.

There’s this creator on TikTok.
I think her name is like Maya Ayooni.
She’s an absolute idiot, she says she speaks in facts and people believe her but she’s really never right. There’s this one clip of her saying that Israelis live for free because of the aid given by the USA. First off I’m not even gonna get into the USA part because if you look up Israel’s GDP you’d know it was wrong. But! Israel is literally one of the most expensive places to live

Tbh what maya ayooni and others that didn't vote did was annoying. But blaming them instead of blaming men is so stupid. 80% or more of men voted for women's rights to be taken away. It's fucking men
The problem is conservative men, but they are our opponents.
Left wing progressives, esp women, betraying us and sitting out a massive group political project that we needed them for is a harsher sting
I’m not shocked when a man is fighting against my rights, I’m more hurt when a woman I thought was my ally and sister is helping him do so

So I take Philosophy and creative writing at University and I was watching Tik Tok live from Maya-Ayooni. In the live she talked about how America and western powers by extension tend to use media to plant negative stereotypes about Groups (domestic and aboard) that they don't like.
I'm currently taking a course called Writing Representation and Power. in this class we're talking about discourse and dominant discourse. For any one who's not aware. Discourse is discussion of ideas. Dominant Discourse is a set of ideas that are considered to be true, these ideas are typically held by the dominant group/social elites.
The more I thought about this statement the more I thought about how true it is. The queercoding of villainous/predatory characters, the over use of Arab or Russian villains in spy thrillers. The way that the media jumped on Punks and Goths and politically left subcultures following Columbine and all the infamous "they were killing each other for centuries" parroted by racist Australians towards Aboriginal peoples.
It's always the same lazy tactics and it works every time. The people who suffer are always the people on the victimised group. After Columbine came hounding and attacks towards Punks and goths in schools. With the queercoding of villians came also transvestite and anti gay laws. With the negative stereotypes about First Nations peoples, taken from the circumstances the colonisers put us in, came missions and reservations and generations taken from their families.
By creating these dominant discourses through the media the government and the elites who benefit from the oppression effectively stifle empathy towards the oppressed. The fallacy of this discourse is that it's a fragile framework but it's near impossible to fight. All it takes to reinforce it isa charismatic personality to rrap some sheep, some careful manipulation of class politics and a few carefully selected violence from the hated group and viola, you've created a dominant discourse about any group of your choosing.
These dominant discourses are built into the fabric of the western world. That's why activist fatigue is such a problem; because no matter which cause you rally behind, you cannot fight the system through only one means. Yet, to be an effective activist it's required to fight in parts. It's a method that invites a lot of internal discourse about causes that are caused by the same thing.
The only way one of us can be free is if all of us are free because all resistance to the current systems of power is dangerous.

Yeah I feel so conflicted about it
On one side, as an Arab American, I understand how disheartening it is seeing the Obama administration continuously hailed as a progressive change for POC as if Arabs weren’t routinely slaughtered in the name of American greed…Watching progressives that boast about being “anti racist” while supporting a man that openly murdered innocent Arabs, including children on specific missions, for having nothing but vague terrorist ties in their family, will make you lose hope in Democrats. That was building even before Biden’s full economic endorsement of Israel’s genocide … So people saying Arabs went red because they are “anti black” is not accurate to me at all, the Democratic Party has been letting us down for a while…years before this attack on Palestine
But on the other side, seeing so many Arab creators get millions of followers because of Palestine being a major topic, and outright telling their young left leaning base not to vote, is so irresponsible and not even in our favor. Republicans would be objectively worse for both Arabs here and overseas. The post 9/11 world of propaganda and hate they pushed was so insane, we can never forget about Iraq, the military worship, the hate crimes, the government spying on its own citizens, the profiling of anyone even vaguely middle eastern. Like seeing Maya Ayooni clapping and cheering on live when Trump won… and seeing so many Arabs with maga hats on irl… I’m like “stop being stupid, red is is not the answer😭 They hate us too!”
love to see people blaming the election results on arabs. even if every single arab american voted in this election, that would amount to 3.5 million votes out of about 140 million. respectfully i think the trump problem runs a lot deeper than a minority who are currently watching entire branches of their families being wiped out by US-made bombs

Maya ayooni is not the reason trump got elected. But the fact that she won't take accountability for the harm she put tori in and spreading anti black rhetoric is awful.
https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSjB4wmnc/
Also the people in the comments saying "let's go to Starbucks" are do fucking childish.
She definitely looked like an idiot clapping and cheering for Trump on her livestream, and has been super irresponsible with her 2M platform, but I will admit even if all Arabs voted for Kamala, there isn’t enough of us to shift it… the white and Latino vote was wayyy bigger and too strongly right oof
Dude I can’t do another Arab vs Black race war on TikTok again, it’s so annoying 🙄 We need eachother, minorities can’t be divided if we want to stand a chance against the white Christian conservative majority… this failure of an election is proof that fracturing ourselves and infighting makes us weak and ineffective … and now all 3 branches are red now! We’re paying for it!
