I know I’m not verbalising this well but I’m so damn tired of the mono culture everyone is heading towards. Yes everyone has always followed trends and even more so now that people are so connected now over the internet. But public spaces now look like a dang uniformed meetup, everyone looks the same, acts the same, goes to the same places, art is the same, music sound the same, writing style, humour, videos (not even necessarily from influencers or creators) are full of “I tried the new viral—”, “I visited the viral—”, “I bought the viral—” stfu stfu stfu

The way that people build their whole life around a certain aesthetic too instead of curating your aesthetic based on your hobby/interests. And I’m not just talking about the posters you put up on your room but legit hobbies and activities and the books you read (or display), the music you listen to, the kind of friends you surround yourself with, all build around a curated and controlled image you wish to portray. I knew a fitness girl who got into “cottagecore aesthetics” and stopped hiking and surfing even though it used to be her favourite thing unless it involved taking aesthetic pictures of flower fields and the sea and picnics. She even tried to take up embroidery and baking instead, then gave up and instead would spend a shit ton of money on artisan loafs and loose leaf flower and fruit teas that she doesn’t even like the taste of to maintain the facade.

And now he’s saying he wants to work with Boeing to produce the new air force one, what can go wrong? Two companies famous for their products malfunctioning in fatal ways. And he’s getting his smelly hands into every government trying to influence them or their alt right population like the AFD.
