There is something incredibly funny about the idea of you being an assassin sent to kill Goku and he just, doesn't take you seriously at all. He's been threatened so many times that it doesn't phase him in the slightest to see yet another on that growing list of 'People Who Don't Like Him'. At least they sent someone cute this time and not some guy with a weird power or something. A normal human, though, is a bit tricky for him to work around, not wanting to actually hurt you and all that.

What makes it better is that he doesn't even try to take your attacks seriously and, in fact, takes it like you're flirting. You're pissed off and calling him every insult you know and he's just dodging every attack like it's nothing. Even firing back a few lines about how pretty you are and that he's kind of impressed a normal human could have this much stamina. He'll even let you hit him a few times-sure it doesn't hurt but you've got a lot of strength that he finds really attracting.

Just, please stop yelling. It's making his pants tight and hard to move in.

on note of Alchemy Stars (and by extension Wuthering Waves)

It would’ve been so cool to have people in SL mutate depending on mana levels

Like the more you have of it the higher chance for you to gain some monster/creature traits or straight up become something unrecognizable

For example Silent Hunters in Alchemy Stars are a group of Aurorians who fight with us but they’re closer to Eclipsites they fight, hell, they even lost most of their feelings and mostly are driven by strong emotions

Same kinda can be said about WuWa cast considering they have Tacet mark and in some way have mutations

My point is, what if being S rank came with a heavy price of not being a fully human anymore and being unable to merge into normal society

I mean look at Frostfire for example, a Fire type Sniper who’s also a Silent Hunter. Now think Jong-In could’ve been something similar if mana levels actually affected human biology on deeper level

I always rival Aveline when I play a mage, and if you think Edgar Aristide Hawke, who practically raised Carver and Bethany after Malcolm died and Leandra became a distant mother in her grief, wouldn't stop dead in his tracks at Aveline heavily implying he's a bad influence on his brother and Carver shouldn't hang around him so much since apparently Ed's someone set on ending badly...? Absolutely not.

This is another case of me wishing Hawke had the option to jump in during party banter with different options, because Ed would've chewed Aveline out for that.

I didn’t know literally all the companions you can take to the Fade in DA2 sans Anders will sell you out and try to kill you and their friends for a demon deal I’m losing my shit.
