- I really like how it's his own hate for percy and everything percy has that gets him killed rather than straight up homicide. It really sets the idea that people like that will find their own downfall (which is ironic bc this trope is commonly used in ancient Greek tragedies)

season one of percy jackson is stunning. It's a masterpiece even with the changes and whilst there was definitely some timing issues and the cut to black became annoying, it was very, very good. If it is renewed for another season, it has a lot of potential, and I will be very excited to see how they adapt The Sea of Monsters for screen.

Carys Alina OC Questions

Carys probably had some innate magic always that wasn't able to manifest in her world. However, during the Underworld/Book 6 incident, it seemed to come to the surface. It was very overwhelming at first. She can Overblot, but I see it as a like, optional story line.

For the most part, yes. I think the biggest differences from the canon game's timeline would be during Book 3, 6 and 7. She is a bit more proactive than Yuu in them.

Yes. I will kiss Malleus and if I have to Frankenstein my way into the game to do it I will.

Homesick? Yes. Very much so. But also extremely conflicted because, despite everything, she's grown attached to TW and her friends there, and doesn't know if she's capable of choosing one over the other. At this point, she's given up on Crowley getting them back.

She does everything she can to make Ramshackle a safe haven for herself and her friends. It's not much, but it *is* home. As for coping at the beginning... there was a lot of crying and a lot of anxiety.

Big Sister Instincts activated instantly for Grim and Ortho.

Books 6 and 7 are big on character growth, or at least making the already present fear and conflict of choosing between worlds (and the guilt of not being able to help her friends) really start taking their toll.

Carys and Malleus' first impressions with each other are much like the original game, I imagine.

A lot of her/my strengths/flaws are related to being a Highly Sensitive Person (an actual thing! It's a type of divergence, which I only learned recently). Highly observant, deeply feeling and empathetic, but also easily overwhelmed and anxious.

Carys, like me, gets sick easily and often gets bad colds when too stressed. Carys' probably had to drop in at the infirmary quite often, even if just to lie down for a min and get some basic medicine.

Carys is a bit more willing to be underhanded then when she arrived. Also, she's found a new appreciation for gargoyles.

YALL i need to excitedly ramble abt the house of hope under the cut

god DAMN god damn what a fight holy shit!!!!! like. what a perfect fuckin way to cap all my shit off before endgame. i think a lot of the lead-up with stealing the hammer was also pretty fuckin great (i went in largely unspoiled outside of the understanding that Raphael is a Boss and He Sings Or Something). i love hope with all my fucking soul and i was not expecting her to be there and such an integral part. i'll have to see if i can take a diff approach w haarlep next time bc i did just kill him askldjfasjf, but once i stole the hammer it actually felt fuckin tense and stressful! like an ongoing escape! my party comp was wink+laezel+astarion+karlach which i think was a RIDICULOUS advantage for me. split the party for the actual hammer-stealing so astarion was the one to pick it up and RUN(fly) out of there. the fucking HELLFIRE BALLS. TERRIFYING TO DEAL WITH. you realize that 'hm there's no point to getting stuck fighting here' so you just run!!!

alright the actual raphael fight. fucking the boss music is so. so good. it's deeply satisfying to finally get to kill this motherfucker. i could tell that the fight was Hard but i think i went in w a smart party comp for once/got EXTREMELY lucky by convincing yurgir to fight with the group (yurgir's not exactly the hardest hitter when he's supporting you but damn, can't imagine having to fight him and all the other cambions that pop up). the soul pillars were cool and i think i was equipped to Deal with them after experiencing how the cazador fight worked? but honestly i was expecting to TPK a few times before finally getting it, and that didn't happen :0 like i think i have underestimated previously the sheer hitting power of a very martial group, even though i didn't get any bonus fire dmg from karlach. i did however get to make her a Fuckin Giant (went through the ansur fight so i got the giantslayer greatsword. chefs kiss.) just slicing her way through shit. tbh tho lae'zel remains mvp, she's not as much of a tank as karlach but the way i've specced her she gets more chances to hit than karlach and hits almost as hard. astarion continues to be my special guy for staying the Fuc out the way and sniping.

wink didn't get to do a lot of flashy shit, in part bc of how i've built them i think? they're mainly useful for AOE,psychic dmg, and condition-altering, but cloudkill wasn't really useful w how much close up fighting needed to be done. BUT i think they were deeply necessary to keep a TPK from happening--i mostly just had them using eldritch blast to focus on the pillars and leaving all their spell slots to counterspell raphael's incinerates/other nasty spells. tbh, it worked most of the time! wink also has psionic backlash which comes in Clutch (raphael's actual final attack was some fuckin hellfire 6th level bullshit that downed lae'zel once it hit and had a wide aoe, but bc i'd whittled him down low enough psionic backlash as a reaction was enough for his attack to insta-doom him) (sidenote: didn't do it here but i also love having 2 party members w counterspell+one that has psionic backlash bc you can cancel the spell AND punish them for casting it buahahaha)

hellfire is a FUCK and i think that raphael has some really powerful attacks that had i brought a diff party comp/had a diff tav the party would have been very wiped multiple times. i would LOVE to play this fight in tactician/honor mode bc while i could tell this was meant to be a challenge and while i will aBSOLUTELY leave it for last every time, i don't think it was the hardest fight i've had in act 3! fighting cazador was pretty rough tbh (and viconia but that was mostly due to how many motherfuckers were in that room).

(related sidenote: they don't actually need to do anything about this but i think. something could be done to make gortash seem a more formidable foe--or maybe that's the point, that he's a politics guy with widespread power rather than being a deeply powerful being himself. idk it's been a bit since i fought him but i would not consider his battle particularly difficult, at least when i hit it, i don't think i had even hit lvl 12 at that point. like i think from a challenge standpoint at minimum orin holds her own alongside the other late-stage bosses in a way that gort...doesn't, to me? the steel watch are Scary to deal with when hostile but idk. i'll have to think about it. if he's not as mechanically terror-inducing then he really should have an additional more roleplay/discovery focused quest that's hard to just High Persuasion your way out of.)

How do people just sleep. Like not get out of bed past your alarm or fall asleep during the day or whatever. How are people out here like "I cannot actually function without this basic need being met to a certain threshold so I'm going to meet that threshold"

Like. I've walked past all of the "hey, fucking, stop, eat, sleep, don't do the thing that's making you panic" alarms until I started having seizures about it and now I just have like. Absolutely no idea how to chose when to do something I don't want to and when it's gonna be a Bad Idea. Like I can more or less feel it when I'm coming up on the Total Shutdown threshold but summer experiences suggest if I push against that bar all the time it gets lower...AND ALSO I have genuine tendencies towards inaction that I don't like and aren't helpful to my self regulation either, writing off every bad day as "well I guess I just CANT" is not liberating to me because that day becomes several days, I don't eat, I don't exercise, I start chainsmoking and drinking 24/7 cuz I'm bored, and then I basically don't get out of it until I'm so miserable it flips to mania unless I have really serious irl support like people feeding me or at the very least someone around doing body doubling stuff

I feel like some answer to this is "maybe you just need a carer" but I'm gonna fucking ignore that one bc that's not a feasible relationship dynamic for me in the world I live in and I'd rather get fucked up sick myself than put myself and someone else in the kind of situations that I see caretaker relationships playing out in in my circles; like I've seen exactly zero good models for this shit. Probably I do need better skills for asking for help tho, I just don't actually know whst I need help with that's achievable. I'm tryina get a service dog in the next year or so but that's a Big project and I need like, several financial stability things to happen first--not like, normie levels of sinking thousands and thousands of dollars but I need to get thru some basic needs and then be doing slightly better on monthly bills than I am now to add a dependent while staying here and not having to go travel.

I mean generally the move right now is to just do my best with what I've got and just expect things to fluctuate a lot for the next several months, it's what I've been doing and it's helping and im making progress on all these questions and I think I'm doing an okay job at supporting my friends. I just don't want where I'm at capacity wise to be long term and I want to have better tools to roll with the fluctuations, even tho it's not ever gonna be sure or perfect I at least want to have a less terrifying time and feel less like I'm just reacting to emergency levels of Sick every time. Oh, Bad can an will climb down a tree like a full-on creepy creature he is: head down, using only his claws, with Skeppy tucked under one arm. Maybe not even upside down, if Skeppy is lucky, and wasn’t too annoying about wanting to stay up on the tree for the night :D

5) Meeting other spn creatures

Oh, that’s a big question (: Yes, they do meet other cryptids, befriend some, and get in trouble with some, and deal with a handful of new and old spn troubles :D

I always thought that Bad and Skeppy’s life after the main story can make a series of short stories (or one big episodic one) dealing with exactly that: the guys traveling around, meeting other cryptids, learning more about themselves and the world, trying to build a life between human and supernatural crisis going on. Just like In The Dark it can based on the mix between the real life and the minecraft-verse events.

I wanted to focus more on finishing the main story first, though, so these stories are not as sought through, I didn’t even write down any of them yet :D

But if you have more concrete questions, ideas, or suggestions (about a specific person, or a specific thing happening) – write me, I’ll think about it, and how it can work with the theme and worldbuilding I have in mind.

6) Stealing + Protectiveness

Skeppy can sometimes forget about, ahem, moral principles, or human decency… emphasis oh “human”. He’s nature and different worldview it gives, it seeps through in his life and actions even more with age. Especially after he’s been away from actual people for a long while. So, I guess, he might at times steal something that is very important to someone, or do something that could be considered weird or rude in general.

And if Bad really needs something, or is in danger – all rules are down. If there is no one to reality check Skeppy, he might proceed to walk on heads, and commit risky and reckless crimes just to help or save Bad.

They both are quite bad with that, the protecting each other thing. Bad, tho, can be more fiscally violent in his protectiveness.

7) Adrenaline and rollercoasters

Well, it’s not that Bad likes adrenaline specifically, he’s just very curious, likes to try new things, and is almost unkillable. So he can just- just go for everything that’s interesting for him with reckless abandon, and if it goes wrong – welp. Bones can heal limbs can regrow, and the cool abandoned caves will not explore themselves. He’ll have to learn to ease up with lack of selfcare though. Because Bad can’t always leave Skeppy to fend for himself, while he heals, and Skeppy does NOT like seeing Bad getting hurt so much, and not caring about himself at all.

This probably comes back to Bad dealing with his spn nature and learning to make peace between it and himself. And to his anxiety, and unhealthy coping mechanisms.

And hey, it’s the same for Skeppy and his lack of adequate moral compass at times :D

There will be a lot of tension and growing they’d have to do in regards to all this.

Also Skeppy is the one who’s really into chasing the thrills :D Man spent nearly half a year annoying probably-murderous-forest-spirit just for little not-boring fun, jeez :DD

Rollercoasters are a no go, tho. They go up in the air, real high, and, once again, Skeppy and highs do not mix, they do not mingle, they will not have tea parties (with or without bears). Unless, of course, Skeppy really needs to prove something. Then he’ll go on a ride, and die an honorable death, and will never admit he screamed all the way through it.

8) Dates

(*insert an innuendo from Skeppy here*) But, ahm, actually I’d say they love going on picnics: getting food, and hanging around in the nature for a while.

And I honestly donno what I like to think about the most… I just really enjoy the vibe and the atmosphere of the whole story, and how Bad and Skeppy interact in general.

It all is a real delight to write about :D

Nick and Hancock headcanons?

YES...YEEEEES. I am so eager to talk about these two! Especially Nick since I have been talking all day about Hancock, not that I mind of course. 😳

Starting with Nick!

He really likes animals. I have no actual explanation for this, he just looks like the guy that would take in a lot of cats and then have his house infested by stray cats. Ellie loves the cats, but they GOT TO GO.

He literally forgets he has his hat on sometimes.

I feel like he would like going on strolls around DC, for no reason, just to stretch the legs or to take a smoke. It’s calming for him to go around, seeing the city working and people interact with each other. He prefers going out at night, he likes the lights. :)!

He is actually very disorganized with stuff, forgets where he leaves his files, puts files in the wrong places, sometimes doesn't even file a report...I mean, look at his agency, it's a disaster and I adore it. If it wasn't for Ellie, who at least tries to organize when Nick is out, or busy, he would be so lost.

Okay but, he likes rain right? Imagine him just going out to his roof when it's raining and just be there. Maybe he likes it because of how it feels, the bits of pressure on his skin as the raindrops fall, and maybe the calming sound.

He totally meets up with Hancock every once in a while. Just to catch up with stuff. How is the town going? How are the cases going? Mostly casual things.

He is absolutely terrified of Piper, but in the best way. He admires her determination and how brave she is, but god, he wished she slowed down sometimes.

He likes coffee a little bit too much...Tastes good!

I honestly wonder how his vision is. A part of me wants it to be something similar to the V.A.T.S or even the power armor screen, has little colors and a lot of analysis shit. Or normal, full color vision with the analysis shit on, so he can be happier. :)

He really sweet food. He doesn’t eat much, but he likes to get some treats once in a while.

He likes children. This doesn’t mean he would like to be a father though, he thinks he wouldn’t be able to give the kid the attention he needs, and bla bla, you know him. But he sure enjoys spending time with Shaun and chatting with him, or just doing whatever activity. He is just interested in the dumb things the children do, thinks it’s funny. Imagine the feeling you have when you see a cat playing with whatever? Yeah, same feeling.

Likes to play chess...and he is real good at it. Thinks it’s a really fun pastime and enjoys watching your face as he totally beats your ass at chess, that is if you're bad at it. If not, he enjoys a challenge...if you win he’d be really impressed and give you praise, if you lose he keeps his smug face and suggests to try again if you want to.

Continuing that, he is really competitive. He's good sportsmanship, don’t get me wrong but he likes to be able to keep his ego as high as he can.

Would totally accompany Daisy to the library now that is safer, they both have a love for books. He is totally into dumb, noir novellas...You literally can’t tell me I’m wrong.

Now for my self-indulgent part of the headcanons...He has ADD! Yeah, if little habits like smoking would pass down to Nick, why not this? After all, it was a brain scan, it is totally neurological and ADD being a neurological disorder, it would make sense that it passes down to him! This would also explain how unorganized he is, and I got to say it is very interesting how a synth, a literal bot made for work has traits like “forgetting his appointments very often”, plus his impulsivity and fixation with Eddie. Besides, it makes me happy that I can find a character to relate to at that level.

He really enjoys the Silver Shroud plays. Not a super fan, but definitely enjoys the show! It’s something he would be into. (I actually don’t know if this is canon I’ve never heard him say anything about Silver Shroud, but he has some voice lines about it, PLEASE TELL ME, I WANT TO HEAR ‘EM SO BADLY.) Plus, Kent refers to him as “Synth shaped Silver Shroud”, he takes the compliment!

He is a good hugger. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. He might be a good hugger, but he isn’t too sure about them anymore ‘cuz of how his body is built.

His synthetic skin is actually quite soft! Not really soft, but more than expected.

How to break him: literally place your hand on his cheek plus some eye contact and watch him melt onto it. He is pretty much touch starved at this point so any touch will make his heart skip a beat, but do that and he will be at your mercy.

He sends letters to DiMA (obviously once he meets him, accepts him as a brother and isn’t killed) every once in a while to catch up with him! Chase is the messenger. :)!

I just realized that I’ve written lots about Nick already, so! Now Hancock. :D

If he isn’t doing drugs, he’s chewing gum, well...not at that rate, but when he can get his hands on some gum he’ll have some! He really likes it! Mint is his faV. as a funny extra, he didn’t know that swallowing it is...bad, until Sosu or Nick tells him, LMAO.

He would have a pet snake if he could have one. Like really imagine it, he would love reptiles, and know all kinds of stuff about them. He probably really likes Deathclaws.

He knows how to play the guitar. No, I do not have an explanation for this, no I do not accept no for an answer.

He likes very sour or citrus foods, his taste buds are a bit fucked up thanks to radiation, so he likes the fact that the sour taste can make his buds go off the rails. And that’s why he could eat a lemon with a straight face and even enjoy it.

He also really likes coffee, not as much as Valentine but he really likes the strong taste of it! He would drink black coffee and nothing else.

Okay, okay! Last one about food! He is a texture over taste kind of guy, that’s a big reason why he doesn’t like Mirelurk, it’s slimy and weird, no matter how cooked or uncooked it is, he absolutely hates ‘lurk meat. His only exception is boba, he loves boba.

He probably goes around the house only in boxers...because. Doesn’t he give the vibes? Like he would be either shirtless or without pants on relax days or in the mornings.

Autumn is his favorite season. He just likes the orange view of it all, even tho there isn’t much of a change, he does like the chilly breezes that are very common around this season, not cold enough to be annoying but enough to be enjoyable!

He is probably warmer than a normal human because of radiation, so his hands and overall body are warm all the time! (another reason why he likes autumn and cold weather). But yeah! Cuddling and stuff like that are so much more enjoyable with him. :)

His favorite flower might be the carrot flowers there’s around in the ‘whealth. They remind him of the sun *looks at Sole*.

Re-contextualizing Angel Dust: Charlie was not ready for this...

And for the sake of warning Hazbin Hotel is an adult cartoon containing heavy dark subject matter (such as rape and drug abuse, that maybe trigger to views so please tread carefully. Warning out of the way on with the post! I also just wanna get this out there older post my analysis of Val and Angel people kept commenting “what Angel Dust isn’t in love with Valentino” and my rebuttal was “no no that’s a past Angel Dust a younger one who didn’t reach that level of abuse just yet” while their argument was “no it’s the current Angel Dust” which can’t be the case. To prove my point I would like to refer back to the comics and the music video and looking at it with the context of the show. And please read my previous post if you want more explanation on Addict. 

I just want to start off with explaining his relations to Cherri, needless to say Cherri is someone who Angel sees as a true friend and confines in her. And she is there for him as he is for her even willing to fight for her knowing well that he will get in trouble for it. Though one has to wonder why is there such this deep love and care for each other. Looking back to Addict, where we have Cherri singing her “Yeah you fell in love and you fell deeper in this pit...” and several times we have an unknown character pop up during her part of the song. With the little snip bits of info we get from the sequence we can tell that Cherri is in the line of work because of someone who’s over her head. And what they have over is an emotional hold over her if we want to lean in on what the lyrics it might in a romantic sense be we still don’t know who it is tho. So what makes this so important to Angel Dust.

This is because she herself is in the similar situation as Angel as in the both of us are trapped in the holes we dug ourselves into. Giving Angel someone who can understand the stuff he’s going through. Cherri knows why he’s acting out because he’s just trying to hide how hurt he really is cause” hey so does she”. And knows she doesn’t have to say anything but just be there; and takes him out on a night out with her when he’s down. That’s why Cherri is so important to him she’s someone he know that’s not going to look down on him or patronize him on his actions. And his number 1# go to person; which is why he probably reveal to her that he wants to get clean because hey that’s what binds them together... This connects why he broke streak and his stopped his sobriety. 

During the opening scene of the show we have Valentino texting Angel to do work right after the extermination. Which I also have to point out that Val showing a lack of care for Angel safety after the extermination. He clearly wants his money and is making Angel put himself out there for work. And what does he do after he’s done with the job; he falls back on drugs. Now this is important to note... remember during the News broadcast Charlie confirmed that Angel was clean for 2 weeks before all of this happened! He was doing so well what could have possibly made him break his streak-Valentino. 

People were theorizing Val gave drugs to his employees meaning Val isn’t only his pimp but supplier as well! Giving the reason why Angel stayed with Val for so long; when I did my analysis of the music video Addict I said Val maybe the first one to find Angel when he first came to hell. Manipulating Angel in a weakened state to view him as a sort of savior and made him forget his sorrows and how did this happen you may ask... “drugs” using sweet words to mask his hidden agenda. So Val basically trained hims like a dog on a leash in a sense of “you’ll get a love & affection with a treat” which translates to “if you do this job for me I’ll give you all the love you were denied when you were alive as along with the drugs you’ve been craving”. I will argue that Val made Angel even more dependent on drugs; because he made it his number one coping method he’s the enabler. After Angel was assaulted and raped by Valentino probably made it even worse for him because Val’s his boss, he goes to work he has to see him... triggering him to fall back on to drugs. That’s why Angel needs his drugs and needs to numb himself, so him breaking his streak clean after taking a job from Val wasn’t coincidence back then. 

“he’a been behaved, clean and out of trouble for 2 weeks now” until Val got to him...

This makes Val even more dangerous to Angel’s road to recovery than we could have ever imagined. No only that but it makes it difficult to tell someone about it as well Angel is afraid of him and has to stay in contact with him since he’s his employer. This would be good time to bring up my rebuttal for my case of Addict: I get. I identified that the Angel Dust in the beginning of the music video is a younger one that still has some love for before figured out he was using him and he stood up to Val (pre-trauma). And the Angel Dust at the end credits of the music video and the one in the comic is the current Angel Dust and show (post-trauma). When you look at the interactions with Val (via comic vs music video) they are clearly different hence the two different Angel Dusts!

I will be referring to the comics in this section so if you haven’t read them please do.  

When Angel is in the limo with Val he’s trying to make it very apparent that he’s upset that he’s not getting any attention from Val. Being very huffy and puffy not even looking at him as Val’ counting his money, forgetting that he’s right there. This is very important because Angel doesn’t hesitate to hide his emotions, this Angel is willing to show discontentment in front of Val being angry and annoyed at him which leads up to why he doesn’t kiss want him and outright rejects him. He shows he’s willing to fight back against Val’s mistreatment and neglect of him, becoming more aware of it. In my earlier post I deduced this scene is where Angel first time he’s disobeyed Val and finally gets the full picture he understands he doesn’t mean anything to Val and he’s using him. He’s no longer willing to put up with his mind games anymore and probably would have left Val that night... which is why he raped him to gain control over Angel. 

Music video vs. Comic scene

Now looking at the interactions Angel Dust has with Val are completely different he’s submissive to Valentino when we see his conversation in the limo. Not only that but it shows why Angel Dust went on that drug deal for Val; to show him he can do something else other than being a sex-worker. Angel wants out and this was his way of giving himself another option but Val shuts it down completely! Even before he entires, he’s holding his arm in fear and discomfort, even when he’s trying to plead his case he is terrified. He’s no longer willing to fight back because of what Val did to him. And Val reminds him constantly that he could do it again if he wanted to by reminding him of that night! He does this by grabs Angel face when he tries to explain himself, like he did when he forced Angel to kiss. Val forces him to smiles when he leaves the limo he wants him to never show any form of disagreement or disobedience like the last time because that’s what got him in trouble last. To add more salt in the wound he makes him Angel call him “Mister Valentino” reminding him he’s in control! The man is practical holding a gun over Angel saying “the same thing will happen, if you disobey me again...” AND THAT IS SADISTIC AS HELL! It making me hate Val even more and after he leaves the limo all he can do is let out his anger in silence as when he smokes similar to when we see him smoke at the end credits to Addict this Angel is our current Angel Dust. This is his way of expressing his sorrow in silence why he’s an addict.

So you maybe asking how does Cherri bomb come into play, well I don’t think after the initial incident with Val who does Angel confine to Cherri and destroy a bar together. You see the pattern; Angel has a break down, uses his drugs comes off of the high, he goes to Cherri and in turn go out, and have fun well her kind of destructive fun! And it has been confirmed that he learn all about weapons from Cherri so basically this is the reason why! He wasn’t breaking his clean streak “to do his girl buddy a solid”  he went because he wanted to be with the only person who could understand him at that time. And she just happened to be in a fight and he jumped in thinking  “oh my home girl’s in trouble I gotta help her out...” and that’s probably did out of instinct to protect Cherri. Charlie and Vaggie cut in... now things start to get a little dicey I’m not trying to attack them but they didn’t handle it this best way. They didn’t know anything, and before know Angels story a lot of people are upset with Angel’s action but now that we have context they’re (Charlie & Vaggie) in the wrong. 

These are the points of why Angel cannot confine to Charlie or Vaggie, I will also argue that they pushed Angel further from them. Angel is someone who’s very prideful and isn’t going to tell someone that he’s hurt. Unless they figure it out for themselves or feels safe with them (Cherri). Looking back Vaggie & Charlie made a huge “No-No...” and this scene is incredibly painful to watch. Let’s cut to Vaggie how does she address Angel by scolding him for his actions she goes right to the blame game, which is the last thing she should be doing if they really want to help Angel. They don’t even take the chance to ask him why he did it; unintentionally isolating him from help. 

What bother me is that Vaggie is quick to call Angel’s actions are a result of being “selfish” which is not the case now that we have context. And probably why Angel just kept trying to piss off Vaggie because he knows that his actions weren’t out of wanting be “selfish”... and makes it clear that he still wants to go clean. It probably actually really hurt him to when she said that  and I’d like to point out that people who struggle with addiction it’s not easy to stay clean and people can relapse. Basically what Vaggie did was shamed Angel for relapsing which is not okay and paints him as a bad guy immediately! To say he ruined the image of the hotel ... it made me furious at Vaggie putting all the blame on Angel. And we know that’s not the case even before the fight was broad casted the demons and sinners in Hell were already laughing at Charlie’s idea and let’s be honest it was reasonable. Because WE DON’T KNOW IF IT’S POSSIBLE YET so putting all the blame on Angel Dust was uncalled if anything it’s just the cherry on top. I’m not trying to attack Charlie but she really doesn’t know what she’s doing she doesn’t know how to send a soul into heaven. Is it irresponsible to broadcast a client before they are proven successful, not only that but it puts a lot of pressure on Angel to prove theory that we’re not sure is true yet.

And let’s be honest did Charlie really believe Vaggie’s word’s wouldn’t but hurtful they didn’t even take the time to ask him why he did it; immediately writing him off when clearly somethings going on now she’s painting the image that they don’t care about him, they just care about the hotel, and that they just wanted to use him as a poster boy! Hmm... now who has used Angel Dust in the past for their own personal agenda... oh yeah VALENTINO! Which is why he goes on saying “I made you look sad and pathetic...” he chooses those words not to just make Vaggie mad but that’s probably what he was really feeling on the inside. Angel really did want to apologize to Charlie but after what Vaggie said to him it probably made him feel like his apology meant nothing and leaves these actions carry on into Addict. This is where naivety is her biggest downfall she rushed into it thinking just keeping Angel clean is gonna redeem him she was so not ready to broad cast the hotel. She makes it sound easy but it so much harder than that!

THIS WAS A 100% CALLED FOR! AND SHE DOESN”T EVEN REALIZE IT!

This is why Angel flips off Charlie and doesn’t want to talk to her, he’s basically doing cause “Why should I tell you about my problems you don’t really care you just care about your hotel...” that’s why this is so important to highlight. They already gave him that impression, that they think little of him and that they aren’t going sympathize with him but scold him. And Charlie should have stopped Vaggie yelling when she had the chance. Vaggie sabotaged her chance to understand Angel Dust and help him. And did she really think her temperamental girlfriend was the one to help sympathize and redeem sinners.  If she really wants to help Angel Dust she needs to stop thinking it’s gonna be a cupcake walk, people have reasons why they fall to these bad habits; people have issues, relationships, traumas, that they need to navigate before they can heal. Which makes me believe that Charlie isn’t the one who’s going to get Angel Dust to open up to them about his trauma. Vaggie’s out of the question if not then who...

Monisuki and Natsuri headcanons

Monisuki

After a few weeks in the literature club, Monika and Natsuki had become rather close, Monika slowly began to understand why Natsuki was the way she as, slowly learning about her home situation the more time they spent together.

Monika started packing snacks for Natsuki when she learned she wasn’t able to get her own lunch at school, giving her one everyday before their club meetings or whenever she see’s her at lunch.

Eventually, Monika starts inviting Natsuki over to eat dinner at her house. Natsuki was a bit nervous at first, but eventually caved in and agreed to go once a week, which then turned into every other week, which then turned into anytime Natsuki felt comfortable eating there.

Natsuki didn’t want to burden Monika too much by eating over there too much, but Monika’s parents reassured her that they were absolutely fine with Natsuki joining them if she wants to, they even started gaining a habit of setting up a spot at the table for her.

Natsuki was the first to catch feelings, and she couldn’t handle this at all. She was terrified that her father was gonna find out. Who knows what he would do if he found out she fell in love with another girl? He already wasn’t the kindest to her, and if he found out about this?

So, her solution? Tsundere levels to the max.

she started being much ruder to Monika than before, going over her house to eat less and less, and even just stopping entirely. But she found that the more she distanced herself from Monika, the more she felt herself falling more I love with her, which just made her feel worse.

Natsuki happened to accidentally confess when Monika confronted her about her change in behaviors and they got into an arguement. It was the mid arguement “Because I love you ok?!” Type of confession too.

Natsuki couldn’t help but feel herself become embarrassed as she started stumbling over her own words, realizing what she just said. Now she really screwed herself over, Monika surely had to hate her now.

”Oh Natsuki, why didn’t you just say so sooner?!” Monika said, giggling slightly as she smiled down at Natsuki, before hugging her tightly, before exclaiming “I love you too!”

Natsuki couldn’t help but blush and burry her face in Monika’s chest before stuttering out “Shut up, it’s not like I wanted you to live me back! I was just saying!”

Monika simply giggled before pulling away from Natsuki, letting her wander back off to read her manga. Monika made a mental note of Natsuki’s behavior changes at to make sure that Natsuki got fed everyday she could. It’s the least she could do if it meant keeping Natsuki safe and healthy.

Natsuri

No matter how much they would relate to eachother, Natsuki and Yuri always had some sort of disagreement. But oddley enough, they were always seen as the closest to in the club.

They always seems to be he ones to bond over eachothers emotions and thoughts, and could often be seen hanging out together, bonding over reading and stuff.

Natsuki, again, upon realizing her feelings was terrified of what her father would think. Though this time she knew she couldn’t just distance herself from Yuri, that would hurt Yuri too much, especially sense to her, they only had each other to rely on.

So instead, Natsuki became more quite and closed off, not distancing herself, but not exactly getting closer to Her. Yuri didn’t notice this change until maybe a week or so, in which she herself started developing feelings for Natsuki.

Yuri was of course the one to confess, sneaking a love poem into her manga collection that when summerized, ask Natsuki if they wanted to hang out outside of school sometimes as a date of sorts, with “yes or no” checkboxes at the bottom.

When Natsuki found it, she was hesitant to respond, but eventually did, throwing the peice of paper around a corner at Yuri, a red check in the yes box. She would’ve given the note or responded to Yuri in person, but she was still trying to come to terms with her own feelings.

This became how they communicated for a short while, Leaving Notes for eachother usually in the sequence of Yuri leaving the first note, and Natsuki throwing it back at her with the answer written in it.

It took quite awhile for them to actually start verbally talking to eachother again, and even longer after that for them to actually start dating. Of course, they never told the other club members about this, they felt a bit too embarrassed to tell them, and it’s not like they needed to know right.

Though that wouldn’t really matter as Sayori and Monika had thought the two were dating way before they actually got together.

The amount of care and consideration the writers/artists put into Jinx is incredible. I mean, I can't believe the Get Jinxed video from eight or nine years ago has so many of the elements that came to life in Arcane. The devotion to the character is swoon-worthy and it really shows.

It's rare to see complex female characters written well in mainstream media, let alone teen girls, let alone teen girls as antagonists. When I read Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn was the first time I realized teen girls and women could be written with such moral ambiguity and darkness and depth, and I've only ever felt that impressed again with Jinx. But ten times more so. It breaks my heart into a million pieces, and fascinates the hell out of me, to see the way Powder's psyche and core beliefs and mental infrastructure are all so deeply embedded with her failure. The way that manifests into her childish yet keenly mature attitude, her reckless and fraught but intentional and strong disposition, is all so well-done. I think the creators wanted to explore a girl version of The Joker [Batman, DC Comics] and man not only did they deliver, but she's in a class of her own. She's fucking terrifying. She's so dangerous. She makes you hold your breath because you have no idea what she'll do; or, you do know, but you can barely stand to believe it. It's incredible writing. How do we have empathy for her despite her awful decisions? How do we hope she'll do the right thing yet know she'll do the wrong thing, all while having so much internal strife and shock and despair at her actions?!

The scene where Jinx goes back to their old home and tries but fails to beat Vi's record is one of the most powerful scenes in tv. I just love it so much. Like everything with Jinx, it hurts and it's shockingly awful and it's the most incredible disaster.

Enter Silco. The only one who gets her, who holds space for her, who makes space for her and her eccentricity and her mayhem. Who accepts her and wants her to be all that she is. Who doesn't 'forgive' her, because there's nothing wrong with her and nothing to forgive. That's the appeal to them, for me. Especially since Silco is ordinarily ruthless and self-serving and committed only to his own mission, but he makes allowances and exceptions for one and only person. He alters who he is and what he plans for one person. Jinx.

I won't say any spoilers, but my only complaint with the show is that they're under-utilizing Silco. I can't get enough of him and him with Jinx.

The things that are problematic in real life are the most violently delightful to experience in fiction. I devoured Jinx/Silco fanfics. I'll just leave it at that. It was the first underage or guardian/ward fics I've read but I neeeeded it and loved it. I'm sure it was triggering for people to watch the sexual tension between them, I have no idea why it didn't trigger me or piss me off, it absolutely is problematic on so many levels to portray or to promote, ... but I was into it. I'm into it. I need to go and reread fanfics right now just thinking about them?! They're addicting to watch and experience.

As far as relating them to Levi and Mikasa, I hadn't thought of that but I can totally see it in a dark, twisted AU version in which they were both orphans who lost everything and everyone despite being so powerful and how severely that could have damaged them and led them only to each other. If you write it, anon, I'd read it in a heartbeat. (:

Check in on my (not very realistic) wish list for episode 135

1. The M9 eventually find a way to catch up with Lucien and Cree before they are able to go to the astral sea and at least start the combat (Bonus: Cree gets a wild magic effect that gives M9 some advantage or laughs).

Doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen. Well, I’m still personally REALLY happy that they all decided to explore a little bit much and ended up with combat lol. I love the heavy lore dump, reveals, map and the Aeorian nullifier/others combat, all part of the D&D fun.

2. Caleb and Beau somehow don’t get any extra eyes from their dreams (look, let me have some hope alright, last episode was kinda open-ended).

Noooo not on the clavicle and the palm... These stupid eyes are the reason why the empire siblings rolled bad rolls first thing in the morning, I’m telling you.

3. People on watch in the dome have some one-on-one conversations (Yasha and Fjord are doing the first watch, looking forward to it, also hoping for whoever on the second watch to talk).

Nope :( I’m a bit sad that they just kind of time skipped to the morning but it’s understandable.

4. If the empire siblings do get eyes can we at least have a morning eye check routine and Essek’s reaction to it? (Bonus: Essek examines the eye and offers help in some way)

I mean, we got part of a nice conversation about the eye so that counts as a reaction right. Essek is very wary about it, understandably. Don’t worry Essek, Fjord will take care of it if the eyes turn them evil. 

5. More wild magic effects from casting in Aeor! Jester, Essek, Caleb, Caduceus, Veth and Fjord I’m looking at y’all. (Bonus: the effects are harmless and fun ones, like Bjald)

OH NO CALEB not first thing in the morning... wow never mind it’s a nice nostalgic smell! Apple tart, how awesome. I mean a lot of people used higher level magic and didn’t roll yet (or maybe they did we just don’t know)? This particular effect was harmless and fun tho. 

6. They explore the Aeorian ruins even more along the way and discover cool relics/labs/history and lore (Bonus: clues related to the Eyes of Nine).

Ayyy genesis ward looks like a fun place, thanks to their high investigation rolls we found so much sweet lore. They also went into underground city ruins and basically wizard paradise lol. AND A BOOK ON THE SOMNOVEM! This is the first clue we have found so far. Also, Factorum Mollis project/Creator Hammer? Athodan’s rejuvenation/dunamancy? The plot thickens. THEY FOUND WHERE THEY NEED TO GO! B9!

7. Beau and Yasha have fun with some shameless PDA OR alternatively they get some super private time (bonus: cuddles in the dome).

I love their morning flirting. “That was amazing babe”, “Jump I’ll catch you!”, “Come here baby”, that’s some shameless PDA right there we love to see it. ALSO, Marisha said “we are doing PDA it’s a thing” and I feel so validated right now.

8. Jester and Fjord heal each other at least one time OR have a deep conversation (bonus: Jester complimenting Bjald).

They didn’t heal each other/converse BUT they had some nice moments! Fjord holds Jester’s ankles and waist at her request, how cute!

9. Continuing to hope for Essek’s fancy dunamantic spells OR magical items (I just love his style and flair okay).

OG Fortune’s Favour!! Thanks Essek. Identifying the keycard was also helpful. Essek giving Veth a pearl and telling her to aim it was so funny lol. LEVEL 4 LIGHTNING BOLT? What spell/item is that? Wow Essk is well-equipped.

10. They talk seriously OR laugh together about Bjald/smooth Fjord (Bonus: Veth disses Bjald just because) but Fjord eventually gets his hair back.

Wow straight out of the gate lol, Veth doesn’t wait (they are seriously expending spell slots for this). Also Veth cannot stop trying to grab his illusory hair. She also tells Devexian that Fjord is not a robot despite him not having hair I can’t even- Also, rejuvenation tube gave Bjald hair back and a long rest, great! 

11. Continuing to hope for Caleb to polymorph into anything really, or using polymorph on any party member (polymorph! Caleb interactions my beloved).

Sparrow! Caleb my beloved! “I’m adorable” indeed, he totally is adorable. Landing on Jester, Fjord and Charlie must have been fun.

12. More moments of Essek’s trust issue (OR changes in his opinion) with Charlie and more moments of Charlie being helpful to the party.

Charlie was a very competent translator! Also, Essek does continue to have a lot of trust issues. 

13. Jester and Charlie cute interactions OR Veth and Charlie interactions (Bonus: They reach the genesis ward to fix Charlie).

Charlie stopped listening when Jester asked him to, how cute! Veth also advocated for Charlie’s repair because she is already 100% attached - and they did fix Charlie I MEAN DEVEXIAN. Veth’s flirting with Devexian is... kinda cute? I guess?? Not sure how Devexian feels about it lol.

14. Cad attempting to speak with the dead on the remaining TT members (there is still Otis and Zoran right) and learning some useful information.

Well, speak with the dead was cast on the dead Aeorian warrior and some useful information was learned about the rejuvenation chamber I’d say. It was not cast on the TT members though. 

15. Caleb casting fire spell challenge! I miss his signature fire magic that we have not seen in a long time, actually (Bonus: Essek is impressed).

Well fire bolt is a fire spell and actually does decent damage for a fire bolt.

16. Cad has a particularly badass moment in or out of combat (bonus: divine intervention success).

HOLY THAT BANISHMENT WAS SO BADASS, also that canceled nat 20 on Yasha. Wow Cad continues to be cool in battles, he is such a MVP!!

17. Veth has a particularly badass moment in or out of combat (bonus: HDYWTDT).

I mean all Veth’s sneak attacks are badass in my book.

18. The wizards nerd out about/investigate Aeorian magic together OR have another conversation (look, I love how they talk to each other okay).

WOW both happened! Essek stayed behind with Caleb in the record room and had a conversation to keep him on track. Right after, Caleb also reminded Essek of the same thing. Once again, I love how they talk to each other. Their dynamic is so fascinating. They also nerd out about/found dunamis (and a literal beacon piece) together in that chamber! That would make sense, time magic = rejuvenation and all that.

19. I know this is highly unlikely but I still kinda want to see the tower again with Essek getting a full tour! I want to see his room decor.

Nope, as expected lol. I don’t think we will see the tower until they deal with Lucien? We will see though, you never know.

20. We find out what exactly Capeleb/Caleb saw when Jester was casting commune/scry (it’s totally something Artagan-related, but what though?).

Nope, but it’s fine. It’s probably not urgent, otherwise Caleb would mention it.

21. Yasha pushes another red button and Beau enabling her out of love.

Yasha went “do it” as Fjord went in the tube lol so she was more of an enabler.

22. You know the drill by now - everyone remains relatively happy and alive by the end of the episode except Lucien and Cree (they can perish), and the episode ends on a terrifying cliffhanger as always.

Wow that episode was PACKED with so much information, I can’t even digest it all. Anyways, the score this time is  14/22, which is not bad at all. 

Bonus: 

Caleb shared half of his pearls with Essek! Also, wow that IS a beacon that they just found. The 3 magic users showboating each other at the end I can’t lmao I love them.

I just love all the noises of the Aeorian Nullifier, thank you Matt.

This episode will certainly need some re-watching to process all the information... but wow what an experience! Loving everything, as always. I cannot wait for next Thursday!

now this is the thing im biting my tongue on SO HARD bc it’s my favorite aspect of the world building and the universe and everything involved in it bUTIHDFKJG THERS SO MUCH I WANNA SAYYYYYYYYYY in short that one dream sequence holds more hints and information than ANYTHING from previous chapters, i think that it’s probably the MOST IMPORTANT dream to date. while we’ve seen some crazy ones in the past, this one is both the biggest hint and the biggest window into y/n’s past by FARRRR. even tho that whole scene was dialogue i think there’s so much to pick up on from it and so much to see and learn from it and it’s one of my faves bc there’s so much to unpack from it !!

Like yes the story and the development is freaking ✨yes✨ I love it. Genuinely think moc should be released as books. But I just cannot deal with the emotions rn.

But also now all I'm going to be thinking about how many sirens are actually out there. And if yn knew her parents and wasn't just an orphan the military found in the streets... How the fuck did she end up in the military grasps. What happened to her parents what happened to the community, is it still out there? Guess I gotta go back and reread the galaxies and the backstories, obviously I must have missed or have forgotten something. Ugh how the puzzle pieces are puzzling (or something). Moc is a drug and I'm not going sober anytime soon

(obviously you don't have to respond to my questions, this is more just an insight into the spiralling of theories going on in my mind)

releasing moc as books? a dream and a half, i can say that much slkjdlgkjlkf but back to the sirens... how many are out there? we heard early on that hongjoong was looking for ‘the last five’ but then seonghwa debunked that and said that was a mistranslation over time that was passed down and such, but beyond that, we don’t really know much about sirens as a whole? there are some hints in the galaxies and planet descriptions but if that dream sequence is a puzzle, i would say we have a handful of pieces that can be put into place based on what we’ve learned so far!!!!

Okay I lied, I am ready to unpack a little of the ✨emotions✨

When hongjoong explained that hwa tried to stop San only for San to detain him and in a sense make him watch the scene unfold. And then realising hwa had to go through that again, only being even more helpless. I don't doubt hwa loves San, but to see the events happening again, with someone he clearly loves as much as he does yn even if he also loves joong, and to see the desperation and determination must have been just. Horrible. Just absolutely soul breaking horrible. I can imagine him vowing to himself after San that he would never let something like that happen again. That of any of the crew got out of control like that, that he would fight harder to stop them. That he would would do absolutely everything in his power to stop it. And then being helpless as he watched yn do it. Just pure heart wrenching pain. And it must have been beyond terrifying to see someone you love ready and determined to kill themselves partly from rage and partly from desperation. With the backstory, that scene becomes almost as cruel as the warehouse scene with San. The only redeeming quality is no one needing life saving surgery in a time crunch, otherwise they would be the same level of ✨never again✨

honestly i think the two crew members i torture the most are san and hwa bc i just keep putting them thru all this shit and hurting them so much but really this was the defining point of why seonghwa was so afraid. before we kinda just knew he was afraid of yn and hongjoong was mad about it. in this revelation we get to see the source of the trauma and how it was amplified by it being someone he loves as dearly as he loves yn. and for sure when first reading that scene of yn and jisung in the brig, it’s meant to evoke a sense of anger and rage like yn is so angry to a point where she would do this sort of thing, but my hope with that scene was also to show that desperation. that when looking back at it after having already seen the rage and the aftermath, that reading it again shows how desperate and hopeless she was in that moment. which is exactly the same emotion that was evoked back in that warehouse scene with san, except it was relayed differently because the warehouse was a more immediate sense of desperation. this brig scene was meant to emulate that but in a slow burn kinda way where the veil of realization is pulled off after the fact and not in the moment!!!

Just to make sure you don't misunderstand. Those asks were compliments. You are an absolutely incredible writer. And the fact that you aren’t afraid of hurting your characters *cough cough* SHOOTING SAN?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!!!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? *CLEARS THROAT AGRESSIVELY* just makes the story much better. No one gets plot armour, making it more realistic (?) and really draws in the writer and sorta imitates the fear and desperation the characters feel

PLS don’t worry, i live for every moment and i live for these open and raw and genuine conversations i didn’t take any as an insult i PROMISE!! i think part of the nature of this whole trope of space pirates and criminals is that hter is no guarantee of safety! i don’t wanna have to cut corners to make sure everyone stays unharmed and undamaged throughout the story when the nature of the world i’ve built thus far is a wildly dangerous one!!! i always say that i try to be as realistic as i can, all things considered, and i think that’s the biggest thing that adds to the ‘realism’ in my mind so im so happy to hear that you see it and appreciate it and enjoy it!!!

truly one of the HIGHLIGHTS of the chapter simply bc of how shocking and sudden it is!! for me, that was one of the easiest scenes to write in the chapter, oddly enough? it was something that when it came time to write it, i knew how i wanted it to be and was able to just sit down and write it out the way its written in the final draft of the chapter. i really love playing with those aspects of fiction and storytelling. tangible to a point, without spelling it out. i think it’s obvious that i really love delayed realization in writing, but i really like playing with how the brain processes information and for me personally, i don’t pick up on things right away! i can realize them in a snap or it can take me a bit to go ‘oh god that’s what happened’, and i like playing with that in y/n’s character a LOT.

and in that same vein of thought, there are some layers to that scene as well when compared to the door scene. in the door scene we saw hongjoong clearly tell y/n ‘you need to do this to save san’ yet she wasn’t able to do it despite trying and believing hongjoong. then in the heart scene we saw y/n clearly tell herself ‘you need to do this to save san’ and she did it then. so there’s a lot at play in that parallel alone too. and with that internal monologue she has of im fine vs not fine, then san kissing the hand that touched a literal real actual beating heart for me that was a sort of self indulgent scene and i was really worried about it coming across as too cheesy or something like that, but that is something that’s gonna impact y/n as a character and her relationship with san when they have the conversation of ‘oh hey i put my hand through a man’s chest for you’

i think part of why this chapter was so difficult to construct and write as a whole definitely is because of all the undertones and nuances throughout, and in a lot of ways it’s so so much to even think about that it’s almost too much packed into one chapter alone, but even if you don’t pick up on all the nuances throughout, i’m hoping to revisit them and bring them back around in that delayed realization style again bc that’s one of my favorite things to do ofc :3

How does the character spend weekends?

If he can, he goes away somewhere. If he’s alone and has had a tough week or just doesn’t feel like it, he’ll stay at home and be very... normal. Like, he’ll allow himself one extra hour of sleep if he feels like he needs it, have breakfast in the balcony instead of at the bar, maybe experiment with something for lunch, go for a run if the day is nice, watch a movie or read a bit, go for drinks with his work team. Sometimes he goes to Sunday brunch with his family if his cousins are going too.

If he has someone, on Saturday they go out for breakfast and have kind of a date day, having lunch or dinner, going to see a movie or to a park, or staying at home together. Sundays it’s breakfast in bed and literally doing whatever they feel like doing.

What kind of movies does the character watch?

Thillers, con movies, some sci-fi if it’s flavoured with something else (for example, Ex-Machina is technically sci-fi but has a big philosophical element, something like that). Can be convinced to watch “weird” foreign movies if you sell them properly.

What do they do with friends?

Aside for going out for drinks, with his best friend and his cousin they still do get together and play PSwhatevernumber and scream at each other like children. They don’t break controllers anymore, tho. And the have an extended group of friends to play poker with every now and then. His closest friends are the people he works with, who are also friends from college, so there’s a lot of chats and coffee between patients during work hours.

What’s their favorite pastime?

I don’t know why but I HC him as a big reader. Like, that’s what he does when he’s on his own. He doesn’t have a ton of truly free time, but when he has nothing else to do, he reads.

What’s their favorite TV show/film?

Not really into TV shows unless they’ve already ended and he knows they’re good. So Mad Men, probably, though he found it a bit slow at times. And I’ve had this idea for a while, but I was thinking about his favourite film again yesterday! I’ll say, he loves The Sting (1973). He saw it as a teen and loved everything about it, and at this point he knows it by heart, but can watch it a milion times.

Bedroom:

How does this character sleep? (Position, sleeping habits, bedtime routines)

Also has to shower at night, and brushed his teeth right before getting into bed. Takes a glass of water with him to leave on the nightstand. When alone, he sleeps on his back or on his side, with the little tweaks here and there to not strain the neck/back. When there’s someone else, either big spoon, with her head on his chest, or both on their sides, face to face and snuggling close to each other.

What are their pajamas like?

Just pajama bottoms; will only wear the matching t-shirt when it’s very cold. It’s all very soft and very good quality, though not super expensive or branded.

What do they dream about usually?

Lucas has weird dreams. He tries to be so composed during the day that when he goes to sleep his brain takes everything he didn’t allow himself to think and scrambles it into lynchian shit. Has occasional nightmares, and he usually can’t go back to sleep when he gets them.

How neat/tidy is this character?

Well, it’s canon that he’s very neat and tidy, and I agree. Not “this lamp is supposed to be 23,5 centimetres away from the edge of the table” level, but everything has a place in his flat, and that’s where things should go. He won’t get angry if something is out of place, just annoyed.

How affectionate is this character?

In the beedroom? Keeping it fluff, having a double bed is a formality; there’s no “each sticking to their side” with Lucas. You either use him as a pillow or you become his teddy bear, your choice.

Attic:

What is the character afraid of?

I had to think about this one for a while. And I’ll say, trying his best and not being enough. It’s never happened, and he’s terrified of the possibility of pouring himself completely into something (a relationship, his job, friendships, family relationships...) and failing. So, he always holds back, just a bit, so if he needs to he can go “Oh, I just disn’t try hard enough; if I had, it would have worked). More mundane? Also canon and also agree: spiders.

How do they deal with bad memories?

Avoid, avoid, avoid. He won’t pretend it never happened, but he won’t think about it. Well, he won’t think about the specifics, so he’ll believe he’s not thinking about/remembering it, but he very much is.

What is this character’s role in a horror movie?

I don’t watch horror movies so I had to google this lol. I’ll say something weird, tho... He’ll be a sceptic that somehow survived, and then became a paranoid harbinger at the beginning of the sequel (?) That or one half of the sexy couple because I mean it’s Lucas. Ignore this, though, I know my fair bit about movies but horror is a mayor blind spot because I’m a wuss :D

How do they hide their secrets?

I thought it was gonna be very clearly pride but when I started to think about it... Lucas is aware of his pride, and so he knows not to let it hurt the people he loves. Envy, however... But it’s a very specific envy: He envies people who don’t have to deal with the things he struggles with. He envies people who can blindly trust others, for example; he wishes he could do that so easily.
