I’ve just rewatched the Sandman and why do I feel like Mazikeen and Lucienne are actually friends even though their monarchs hate each other’s guts.

I bet after the scene where Gault was sent to the darkness Lucienne just summoned Mazikeen to the Dreaming so they can b!tch abt one another’s bosses.

So in the other blurry picture I couldn't even tell if there were 4 figures around Lucifer or not, but I now see THERE ARE.

I looked at the blurry poster for so long, I literally couldn't tell if there were figures around Lucifer or it was just like swirls of light, haha

I also didn't notice that Matthew was on Dream's knee, I thought he was somewhere else in the blurry poster. So glad he is right there!

I cannot wait to see the rest of this poster (and I am having thoughts, some of which are making me ill- Lucifer as the dark reflection to Dream, Dream in between Desire and Death but Desire is reaching away from him (and to Despair) and Death is reaching toward him 😬😔, the way Desire's cloak and Death's glove are almost touching at the bottom- ugh it's good)

And I love that Barnabas is here, what a good boy 🐕

Okay, maybe Lucifer didn't kiss Mazikeen properly because they felt that this gentle kiss told of even more true affection? Making out like they did in the comics was maybe deemed too much, not necessary? I can understand that. This soft show of real affection means more, almost. And I can't wait for some fanfics of Maze finding Lucifer on the cold English beach with a blanket, in an equivalent of Hob with a cup of tea.

One of the great tragedies of season two being so rushed is that we didn't really have time to properly appreciate Lucifer's retirement. Like where is the homoeroticism of Dream being terrified of Lucifer, as they rant about how much they hate their job? Where is the vulnerability they show that Dream is totally shocked by? How much trust they put in Dream's hands when they told him to cut off their wings and then knelt to let him? Where was the scene where Lucifer passionately made out with Mazikeen?

The whole seen went entirely too fast. This season should have caused an explosion in Lucifer Morningstar/Dream of the Endless fics. And Lucifer/Mazikeen should have become more popular as well.

The actors, as usual, did a great job in the scenes they were in. But there just was not enough time to do it justice and for that I'm disappointed
