Some things we may have forgotten

I've been rewatching MCD and taking extensive notes on it in hopes that I'll never have to watch it again and this is just a list of things that I don't see mentioned or brought up very often/ever that we should talk about and think about more

In the first episode Garroth tries to attack Vylad (angst potential) and Vylad literally just combat locks him by logging out of the game. This is objectively funny and should not be rewritten in any capacity. This should be canon as it is in every universe.

Aphmau's cat Meowki gets randomly killed in Episode 12 by a skeleton while Kiki is right upstairs. Just saying, there's some angst potential there.

In episode 11 Garroth reveals that he knows some medicine. Pretty sure this is never brought up again, but we could always bring it up.

Logan is apparently good with a bow while Zenix is trash at it despite being a self proclaimed "expert archer" which I think is very funny (I know this is part of Zenix's cover but what if we took it seriously it would be so funny)

Zoey is originally from the river village, as is Donna. Pretty sure they retcon that for Zoey, but I like to think the two of them could have been friends before Phoenix Drop.

Garroth actually almost dies in episode 15. Like Dr. Doctor says he will probably die soon at the start of the episode. And he doesn't get healed until episode 20. He literally spends 5 episodes laid up in bed dying.

Brendan's at his side probably angsting the entire time I'm just saying if you want sad gay fanfics, it's sitting right there!

Azura and Garroth were friends as kids??? Hello???? I think this is just a massive plot hole considering what Garroth's actual backstory ends up being asjfgshjdfgjk

Okay but if we twist it a little bit, they were friends as kids as in like at the guard academy??? Bc they're like vaguely teenage/young adult so maybe that's what she means? In which case I wanna think about that more because childhood friends to lovers is one of my favorite romance arcs ever. But is it really childhood friends if you met when you were like... 18?? And you're in your like mid to late twenties probably, I wouldn't really classify that as childhood friends.

WAIT IT GETS WORSE!

I don't... I don't even have a joke here, this is just a massive plot hole. Like all of this is just not true to Garroth's backstory as we know it. Grew up in the same village? You mean O'Khasis?? Where Garroth also FAKED HIS DEATH????

I literally don't know what to say to this I was just trying to find silly little facts to try and incorporate into my rewrite and instead I found a massive gaping plot hole

Moving on, in episode 19 when Aphmau confronts Zenix and they fight, he actually apologizes to her. As if he regrets having to hurt her for the sake of his/the Shadow King's goals.

The Lord of Brightport says the Shadow King "used to be a lord". Which like... Okay, I can bend backwards a few ways to say that he could be referring to how Shad started Falcon Claw, but how the fuck does this dude know that??? I feel like Laurance constantly just stumbling into plot holes by complete accident

Dale is apparently a Garmau shipper, going as far as to ask Aphmau if she plans on hooking up with Garroth. I like to think that he and Molly have a bet going for how long it takes for one of the two of them to finally fess up.

She looks a little worn out but that’s just cuz of the lost immortality and probably vitalizing effects it has

Next is just how I see emmalyn. She looks sooo cute with short curled hair I think everyone should adore my favorite hater !!! She did nothing wrong I would’ve been worse and fighting aph for taking over my house !!

Anyways god bless her for being allowed to be a bit even if aph did like ruin her for it

Nyways he’s the type of guy to have gorgeous long natural lashes that makes every girl hate him for it. But also the berry guy everyone has a crush on in school but he doesn’t know and no one tells hom . I like his little tooth gap and scar I think it’s so cute

Oh and her e levin while I was being relentlessly bullied by Jin 💔 they were so mean to me Anywyas I got really annoyed coloring bim I feel like he’s platinum blond but also still have his brown streaks as a baby but didn’t know how to draw it without it looking weird so I just added it at the bottom/back

I like to Imagine Aaron confided in Zoey about his plan to save Garroth from the Irene Dimension.

She didn’t want to agree with him to his face. It would be cruel to say “Go ahead! At least it isn’t Aphmau. She’s worth more than you,” but she didn’t protest much because she didn’t know much about Aaron.

Aphmau would be out and about in the new village and after building, Aaron would stop by to talk to Zoey about how he could succeed.

She was on board with the idea to open the dimension and bring Garroth out. She thought, “maybe he can survive if he leaves it at that.”

He explained that he would not leave it at that if he did survive. He was going to use the last of his strength after the ritual to drag Zane out as well and kill him.

Her admiration grew for him. This task would save SO many people, but suddenly, she did not like this idea as much, because now she knew him and the kind person he was. His death was inevitable and he was okay with it.

The days inched closer to HIS day. Zoey watched him become an adoring dad and a loving partner. She began to realize what would come of this. Aphmau would be CRUSHED.

She almost tried to convince him not to go through with it. They could find another way. Aphmau was getting antsy though and it was affecting her in ways people were starting to notice.

On the last day before Aaron was set to die, Zoey was in his house with him while Aphmau was out. Aaron slipped a note into Aphmau’s diary. He explained that he was going to take the relic they’d found from Aphmau and leave that night. He’d travel to the ruins of Falcon Claw one last time, then he’d return to old Phoenix Drop and open the portal. Zoey asked if he had any last requests and he made her promise she’d never reveal how she helped him kill himself. She agreed.

Do you ever think about how to do what she did and breach the realm barrier, Zoey would’ve had to lie to the boys? And I don’t mean this in a “They wouldn’t let her risk that” way, although I doubt they would’ve and that would’ve added to it, but because no matter how quick she was, once she was in that dimension days would pass by in split seconds?

If 60 seconds is a year, and let’s be honest this estimation is being generous because there is no way they were there for fifteen minutes, then thirty is six months. Fifteen is three. Just five seconds is a whole month.

Unless the portal being open stabilized the difference somehow, then Zoey would have to lie to the boys. Tell them she will be gone for....some vague large amount of time. Come up with a reason why she can’t send them letters. Not accept the supplies they try to give because it’s a waste. And this is all hinging on Zoey even knowing about the time warping going on, because imagine she didn’t.

Imagine one day she says she’s going for a walk, to grab supplies for potions, tells them she’ll be just barely beyond the old wall and she can take care of herself, no reason to worry. And then just like Aphmau. Disappears without a trace.

i have not rewatched minecraft diaries in years. but if i know ONE thing, its that Aphmau should've been polyamorous . her wife was Zoey and her boyfriends are Garroth and Laurence . who are also boyfriends with each other .

also i think Dante would be the "i thought i was the third wheel of my friend group, but it turns out they were a polycule and i just didn't know"

Guys you don't understand I Just Threw Out The Love Of My Dreams by Weezer is literally about the entire cast of MCD

It's about Irene only realizing how much she loves Xavier after she loses him

It's about Katelyn mourning the love she never confessed to Jeffory after his death

It's about Garroth in the Irene Dimension realizing that he was on the verge of losing Laurance

It's about Aphmau bitterly and violently missing Garroth when they're literally worlds apart

It's about Zoey grieving Aphmau and lamenting that she never confessed her love before she disappeared

It's about Nicole seeing Dante in Dmitri and regretting how it all went down but being too far gone to fix it

It's about Aphmau feeling like she didn't do enough to keep Aaron from throwing his life away

It's about Aphmau desperately missing Laurance when he leaves and berating herself for not doing more to save him

Been busy, aphmau went to go get this herb to help Garroth and when she got back she didn't explain anything that happened and just started going around the village like she hadn't left.

Something, probably, didn't happen, but still, she likes talking about what happens day to day.

I'm not able to talk to her seeing as I'm helping Donna and Kiki with Garroth or I'm on patrols. I told Zoey though, so hopefully I'm just being paranoid or something like that.
