i think my whole idea for my tav (archfey warlock) is like. Adventurer McMagic on the surface, he looks like your standard rugged adventurer hero type and is generally good-aligned, but then you look at him too long or have a conversation with him and realize there is something kind of off about him- he lies often and effortlessly, he's scarily charismatic, he breaks into every locked door he sees, he'll do good things and then be ruthless in wheedling out payment afterward, and also his eyes are a weird color for a half-elf and hey aren't those earrings fae symbols?

Idk all that much about the archfey in DND lore but they seem to be pretty standard to most fae fantasy lore from looking at wiki pages i could find, and i think the lore aligns pretty well for my concept. I think basically he wants to be good and makes the right decisions on a large scale, but in interpersonal interactions his nature is to be a little bit eeeeeviiiiiil to everybody but children and animals.

I Also do not know all that much about how patrons are meant to work in the baldurs gate universe but I think it'd be cool if his patron was more of mentor figure to him than the very strict transactional relationship you see with demon patrons. Like, she also does manipulate him and push him to seek more power for her benefit but she also will go 'hey you can't just do stuff for free ask people for money when you do nice things' and when they're negotiating they're deal she's like 'are you suuuuuure you want to do that?', kind of teaching him to be more like her and not be taken advantage of

Also he lets all of his companions make bad decisions in exchange for power for obvious reasons

As they grow older they will have little rock horns. Once they're an adult the horns will look kinda like deer antlers.
