Fixed MCR Hot Topic bracelets! 💀🥀

This going to be a yap fest, so just bear w/ me!!

I have these two bracelets from Hot Topic.

I really struggle getting these on by myself. You can't really see in this picture, but they have lobster clasps on them–my worst enemy. Even with the life hack of using bobby pins and whatnot, I struggle. I really like these bracelets, so I figured I could get crafty and try and work around this issue.

I took the strings off (it was VERY easy–all I had to do was take the strings out of the loop).

kinda very happy mcr hasn’t been leaning into any of their milestone anniversaries in a similar way bands like Green Day have been with huge box sets and speciality tours and whatnot. I feel like everyone with more than 2 brain cells to rub together has realized reliance on nostalgia is the death of good art so why would it be different for mcr! It’s only been maximum 20 years for these albums. I just attended a 40 year anniversary show for an album. If they want to do it in the future, there’s still time. And I don’t think it would come off as hack-y

i care more about a tour where i can see my chem live than them releasing mcr5 or any new music (that's not to say I wouldn't be ABSOLUTELY excited if they did make new stuff though, but it should be up to them without loads of pressure from fans)

I wholeheartedly agree here. To be honest, they could break up tomorrow and I'd still say that I'm happy I was able to witness this all. While album speculation is almost always fun in fanbases (and this might one of my unpopular opinions amongst fans myself), I do not like this "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" attitude that some of the fans have. It reeks of entitlement. If they want to make an album/a new single/whatnot, they should do it on their terms.

ive been thinking a lot about paper kingdoms the past couple of days & when i was a lot younger i would yeaaaaarn for this album, & obviously the leaks last year were awesome

but idk ive just been pondering the whole fandom conspiracies that solo gee & current mcr have been sprinkling in paper kingdoms songs into the new stuff they're making to be soooo weird

&&yea its old news like YEARS old news but i have the MCR kind of autism...

anyhow i just feel like as a writer &an artist i tooootally get looking back on a project you scrapped and taking some of those themes onward into your new work &i dont think thats not a possibility but IDK YALL i just feel like mcr has so many stories to tell they dont really..... need to continue on with a story they decided against telling... if that makes sense?

and tbfr i just dont think ATP after swarm & foundations that its going anywhereeee near that concept in my humble onion

even With talking with ghosts tbh like i feel those songs are just like really loosely tied to the story of the witch and whatnot and fit better in the black parade lore than what it sounds like pk was gonna be

&& gee was pretty clear that paper kingdoms just was not a story they had any persuasion to continue to write or try to tell so idk i feel like even tho 15 y/o me would never have thought id come to this point id honestly rather never hear a full paper kingdoms album if it meant mcr5 got to be something completely new and something the band is excited and driven to write about

(but that doesnt mean i dont hope we get those 6ish songs released officially somewhere at some point)
