Here is another Minecraft Storymode fan artwork I had created for my son. Thank you so much to everybody who has liked & shared my last MCSM fan artwork! I am happy to see that there are quite a few of you out there that like the series. As I had mentioned in my previous post, my son really loves MCSM. (We also play Dungeons, too.) I enjoyed both seasons & wish there was another season, but I am happy with what we got. I've probably seen both seasons at least 7 times (since my son requests it every other month or so), ha ha!

It was a lot of fun drawing the "Blaze Rods" in this style. They caused quite a bit of trouble for Jesse and his friends, eh? Especially at the end of episode 5. Truly archenemies!

This was drawn with Sakura Pigma Micron pens & coloured in with a mix of Copic Markers & Ohuhu Markers. The textured background was done in Photoshop Elements.

I may create more MCSM in the near future. There are a lot of characters in the series & it's been fun to draw them in my style, to see how they might look in a semi-realistic style (though my style is more manga/graphic novel, I suppose). At the moment, I am pretty busy with settling into an apartment unit/flat, I work full-time, there's my son with his homework & other needs, and I'm working on a costume for the Santa Fe Ren Faire (which is the 17th & 18th of this month). Cassie’s behavior could be partially blamed on her loneliness, therefore I believe that a part of her second chance at a life should be her socializing more.

However, I would not put this burden onto the Youtubers which she traumatized…

Only if there was a group of people who would not judge her criminal past, values loyalty and shares the goal of improving themselves who also happen to be feline people … hmmmmm

The Blaze Rods are done!

Making his design was… the weirdest experience ever. I made two versions, didn’t like either, mashed them together, and it was almost decent?? And then I kept struggling with it for another hour?? I’m still not the biggest fan of this but at least it’s okay I think?? (Also he has a robot arm because I said so. The armour on his left arm looked like it and imagining the fight at the end of episode five with him using it to brace against Jesse’s sword is just so cool I couldn’t not)

In contrast, Gill’s design was very easy to make. He’s a simple guy! With fluffy!

Maya was difficult too but nowhere near Aiden — she looks vaguely like a coyote and I’m living for it it.

nothing canon -mcsm-esc from me again , lol . just some front facing sketches of misfit mania characters . more below bc i dont want this post to be long and annoying :P

zombie general blitz is the overarching antagonist of the series, hes cosmo’s old best friend from before cosmo lost their memory from wither sickness who becomes obsessed with getting ronnie (cosmo) back, and wants to kill the entire order of the stone + aiden as revenge for “stealing” ronnie

rav is a piglin brute who comes to the overworld after killing the king of the piglins to avenge his cousin pyrite, as the king allowed blitz to test his zombie infection abilities on several piglins, one being pyrite. he eventually meets shiloh and ryssel after they leave beacontown and takes them under his wing

ryssel mercer-calloway is aiden and cosmo’s son. he aspires to be just like aiden much to aidens dismay lol (aiden worries that ryssel would make the same mistakes he did). he seeks to make aiden as proud of him as possible despite aiden making it very clear that he already is, which leads him to do very drastic and dangerous things. hes a target of blitzs

shiloh rodgers is maya and gills oldest daughter, and is ryssel’s best friend. she leads the “neo blaze rods” with ryssel, and is far more levelheaded and responsible than him. she cares very deeply for ryssel and sees him as her younger brother, and is always there for him when he needs someone. ryssel does the same in turn for her

Aiden

His full name is Aiden Clifton Smith

He is born in San Francisco, California on 19th June 1993

He comes from a wealthy family

His mom is a surgeon and his father is a CEO of a prestigious company in California

As a kid he was very spoiled, which explains his rude attitude

He studied at Lowell High School where he met Maya and Gill

He was the captain of the football team and was quite popular

He couldn’t graduate the last year because of lack of presence

He was acting racist towards Lukas since he thought that “a foreigner can’t be the leader” and it should have been him instead

While being “forced” to pay for his crimes in Sky City he was regretting his actions and wanted to become a better person

Maya

Her full name is Maya Kendall Mayers

She is born in San Francisco, California on 17th November 1996

Her mother worked as an assistant and her father worked as a teacher at the high school she attended

She had a rough childhood because her parents were very strict and had high expectations for her

She had an emo phase for a while

She studied at Lowell High School where she met Aiden and Gill

She was a captain of cheerleader squad but she left when Aiden wasn’t able to graduate

She graduated with a high grade because of her father

She had a serious crush on Lukas when she first saw him but he rejected her

She and Aiden became an official couple during their “redemption” period

Gill

His full name is Gilbert Raymond Harper

He is born in San Francisco, California on 15th September 1993

His mother worked at a supermarket and his father worked as an engineer in Texas

As a kid he was bullied a lot because he had glasses

He also had braces in high school

He studied at Lowell High School and graduated with an average grade

He felt like a cool person after he met Aiden and Maya

He is the ultimate cat lover

He still screams “Blaze Rods” occasionally

He loves to be the third wheel in Maya and Aiden’s dates, making them very annoyed

Happy New Year!

Let's hope that this year is more gentle, kind, and comforting to all! The past few years have been rough, so I am hoping & praying that 2023 will the polar opposite!

First fan art of the year! I drew this for my son last month, as he loves Minecraft Story Mode. I had previously drawn the 6 main characters and then the Blaze Rods in my style (please check my gallery/archive to see them). I decided to draw MCSM season 1, episode 7 ("Access Denied"), after the main 4 enter the desert biome & come across those zombies with the glowing eyes. I ran out of room to draw Ivor, though! Jesse is supposed be holding that enchanted sword of his. (I guess it depends on how you chose the character & the weapons, as to how it looked for you.) I find that weapons are hard to draw, even if it is something as "simple" as a sword.

I hope you like this! It's fun to draw the characters in my style, to give them a bit of a semi-realistic style (mixed with my manga/graphic novel style), and also figure out how their outfits may look. I'm not great that backgrounds & environments, so please excuse the background! This was drawn with Sakura Pigma Micron pens, then coloured in with a mix of Copic Markers & Ohuhu Markers. White accents were done with a gel pen. Sparkles around Jesse's sword was done in Photoshop Elements. I also added in the clouds with Photoshop Elements, since the sky came out a bit streaky with the markers. (I may go back to watercolours for backgrounds...I haven't used watercolours in 13 years!)

Here is the new Order of the Stone (and Lukas) ordered by how I headcanon their heights! This draft is very scratchy in places but I’m proud of how it’s come out so far! It is possible I’ve missed some details (ex. I don’t think I got all of Axel’s shirt patches), but I’ll try to get everything that I can down for the final 😋 Also, line weight distribution is kinda off so I’ll work on that too :0 This is kind of Part 1 of my mcsm character sheet series. I’ll either work on other characters next… (old Order, Blaze Rods, etc.), or I’ll do individual character sheets for the New Order with example character expressions! Who knows, but if you want to see new characters or more detailed sheets let me know! I’d love to hear what you guys think :)
