Okay, so, the story behind Variable Stars is that it got so much bigger than I planned, but I was on track and the new chapter was ready and finished... and I realised that it was totally wrong for the story, the pacing and plot points weren't working. And now I have to go back and rewrite it, and my brain just goes "not today, Satan" every time I try.

Variable Stars is definitely still a priority - and knowing that people are reading it and enjoying it is a huge motivator. 2022 is the year I focus on getting Variable Stars, MCU (Jar of Hearts), and Shadow to Light resolved. VS should be the next one on the update schedule after MCU6 but we'll see how that pans out.

And I love bff Jasper and Alice too, I definitely think I'll write more of that dynamic in the future because it's just too goddamn cute.

I actually think Kamala Khan is a better character (when written correctly) than America Chavez (pretty much anytime), but that’s neither here or there.

My main complaint with the MCU is that they promised us fans 616 back in 2008, scraped the bottom of the barrel almost ever since (certain movies/shows in the MCU notwithstanding), and somehow still blame the fans for especially Phase Four not doing well.

I remember when people preferred Natasha over Clint in the MCU6, simply because Clint was written more as comics!Tony than comics!Clint.

I remember people being excited by Carol Danvers getting her own movie, until it was just an excuse to attack the male fans of both the MCU and the comics.

I remember when everyone loved Bruce, Tony, Thor, Bucky, Steve, Scott Lang, etc. as MCU characters, despite being Straight White Males.

I remember when people were up in arms about Janet being erased as a founding member of the Avengers (along with Hank), just so they could have ScarJo instead.

The MCU and the “new fans”, or whatever you want to call them, have been maligning the same base they counted on for the success of the franchise in the first place. And now they want to act like it’s our fault we don’t like any of the things they put out?

Saw a guy make an interesting point on YT about “Review Bombing” being an anti-consumer term, because it’s never applied to critics, only to the general audience when they don’t like the product the corporation is pushing. Somehow when the audience doesn’t appreciate corporate product, it is the audience that must be wrong.

Today is the third and last day of this year’s service technician training for our German speaking partners & distributors!

With a solid theoretical basis being taught in the first days, the focus of yesterday’s and today’s session is: practice! The h/p/cosmos service technicians guide our partners through the installation and commissioning process of our latest treadmill series 150/50 G7 (pluto/mercury) with the UserTerminal Touch (Pro).

Last week we said „Lämmin Vastaanotto Fysioline Terveys!” when our distributor from Finland made a stopover at our headquarter!

It was a great pleasure to showcase our brand new treadmill series with userterminal MCU6 and to give first-hand demos of new features like perturbation and dual tasking!

Following intense sessions in our showroom, the team took the opportunity to visit the oversize and high performance treadmill saturn 450/300rs (aka The Beast) at the Olympic Training Facility in Ruhpolding.

New gaitway 3d feature: „Virtual Split Belt“TM, or also called “Dual Speed L/R” or “Split Speed L/R”.

Developed by h/p/cosmos and our gaitway 3d partner Arsalis, the new optional „Virtual Split Belt“TM, function of the gaitway 3d biomechanics treadmill offers excellent value in rehabilitation and research. It is first time presented at ISBS Salzburg 2024.

The speeds for left leg and right leg can be adjusted in different ranges during contact gait phases.

Fast acceleration of the sophisticated h/p/cosmos treadmill drive systems, which is also used for the optional perturbation mode of the new h/p/cosmos MCU6 treadmills, allow the changes of speeds to virtually simulate 2 different belt speeds but with the great benefit of having a single belt treadmill deck.

On single belt treadmills runners and patients can move on the deck freely without focusing on any gap between left and right treadmill belt.

There is no gap on the single belt h/p/cosmos gaitway treadmill and therefore also the step width of the subject/patient remains normal.

Even overcrossing is no problem on the single belt gaitway. gaitway 3d can furthermore be combined with PDM Pressure Distribution Measurement in the same treadmill and therefore also allow analysis and correction of foot rotation and roll off analysis.
