Mayor Damien Week

DAY 6: WKM

The invitation had been unexpected but welcomed. Mark was extending a hand of peace towards us after years of estrangement. He had even agreed to allow me to invite and introduce him to the new District Attorney.

Everything had gone so we'll at first. Mark seemed to have let bygones be bygones and hosted us in the Mannor that had been the backdrop to so many childhood memories. We had drank and partied and caught up.

I should have known it was to good to be true. I-i should have paid more attention. After I helped the D.A to their room I went to back to join the others only to find they had dispersed so I returned to my room.

The next morning I woke up and remembered I needed to tell my secretary to reschedule a meeting I forgot about and ran into a sleepy and hungover D.A.

Then they found him. Oh God Mark.

One of my oldest and dearest friends. How? Why?

There was a killer among us. And now the D.A was in danger because of my invitation.

*time skip after the argument with William and he talks to us *

I yelled at William. I had not ment too. He is just so detached some times. I know the detective suspects him, maybe the D.A too, both seem pretty caught up in this invesyigation. But I know William, he and Mark have had a strained relationship to say the least but he would never do this to him. Who ever did this was in a really dark place...

* time skip to just after Celine gets there*

I had suspected the chef and butler but now I've added the detective to that list. I fear for the D.A. they have been pulled into this mess but they are smart. They can handle themself. Theyll have too because now my sister is here. I have to protect Celine. I can't loose her too.

I never liked her interest in the occult but I can't let her do this alone.

And then everything was white, and then it all went dark....

*time skip to the upside down*

It's dark here. Where ever here is. There is nothing but myself, Celine, and this.. this anger, that is all consuming.

It keeps telling us that this is Marks fault, that he planed this, that he Stole my body. I can't help but agree when it shows us what is left of Marks body and what he did to himself.

Even so I can't help but to worry for William and the D.A. The Detecive was getting Desprate and I feared this would only end in more bloodshed.

And then it did. The D.A was here, Celine and I tried to explained but that thing in the house kept changing our words. It took their body, dragging us all with it.

So many people where never ment to fit in one body.

I could feel myself being ripped apart and as I did I panicked it was to late for Celine and myself, our anger had fused with the house, but I could save you. So I pushed you out.

My dear friend, I am sorry. I hope one day you get out of that mirror. When I get my body back from that lying low life I'll come back for you... I promise.

Well that was something.

It's all Damian's inner thoughts looking back on it while the good part of him that didn't end up in Dark is in the upside down.

Mayor Damien Week

DAY 5: LEAGAL TROUBLE

Things had been going well for the newly elected mayor. The elderly previous mayor, Richard, had kept his word and had been helping show Damien the ropes.

But then a letter came.

Looking at it you would never suspect the turmol it would cause. It was written on normal run of the mill paper and tucked carefully in a manilla envelope and was signed with neat feminine hand writing.

Upon further investigation the contents of the letter however was very troubling. It read.

'Dear Mayor Damien,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and good spirits. My name is Abigale Finnigan, though I am sure you remember my just as well as I remember you. You took me to that lovely hang out joint, Miss Ann's on 5th street just down from campus.

We had a few drinks, and then shared a rather intimate night. After which you promptly cast me aside.

I am not mad however, in fact I understand completely. A bright young man such as yourself should not be tide down.

Though much has changed since then and you have become a well respected gentleman. I feel it is time to tell you the truth.

You have a son. His name is Marcus. I do not ask for you to be part of his life, I know a man such as yourself has a reputation to uphold, only that you send funds to help me, a poor unmarried mother care for our son.

When his campaign rivals insisted a investigation be done on Mayor Damien, the money trail was followed to Abigale and her young son.

And while most believed him when he said that while he had gone steady with miss Finnegan for a short time no such night had ever accorded and that he had sent the money out of sympathy for the woman and her son no one ever knew for sure and if his dear friend, the up and coming lawyer new anything they would not say.

Whether it's true or not is up to you.

Damien honestly cares for the kid either way.

He's doing a great job as mayor and the town is thriving.

He had broken up with Abigale because he hadn't felt as strongly as she seemed to.

He also suspected her of cheating on him.
