The Origins of the Dragons

While a lot of powerful cookies at this point in Earthbread's history were baked by the witches. But, the Dragons aren't cookies, nore were they baked by the witches. Instead, they were from nature itself, being baked by the Volcano on the Tropical Archipelago, and are able to turn into cookies due to their powerful abilities.

While I can't go much into there lore at this point in the timline, I can still explain things about them.

In many stories, the tales state that, "Dragons roamed the Earth long before cookies appeared." That isn't true. What they mean is, "Dragons roamed the Earth long before AVERAGE cookies appeared." The dragons are younger than the Sugar Swan, Millenial Tree Cookie, Sea Fairy Cookie, Moonlight Cookie, and Stardust Cookie. Though, they are older than Stormbringer Cookie.

The 5 main dragons also represent different elements. Pitaya Dragon (the Red Dragon) is fire, Ananas Dragon (the Gold Dragon) is Earth, the Blue Dragon (Lotus Dragon) is wishes, the Violet Dragon (Lychee Dragon) is darkness, and the Ivory Dragon is all-knowing (just like me, but with better memory probably :P)

Pitaya Dragon Cookie, despite their bravado, was a nervous wreck. They had no clue about weddings or anything of the sort, so they had to enlist Hollyberry Cookie's help. (That's a story she tells after the vows about how they came barreling into the castle, practically in hysterics as they demanded to know "HOW DO YOU PLAN A WEDDING?!?!")

Lots of red and green for the theme, but you're the only one allowed to wear white. They do still have their sword, and they won't hesitate to pull it on any guests that dare to wear white.

Somehow, the vows and the reception go along without a hitch. It's when the berry juice comes out that everything starts going wild.

Ananas Dragon Cookie was nearly beat up by Pitaya Dragon Cookie when they made a joking remark about you being a part of the hoard now. Your partner nearly threw hands then and there while shouting about how you were, "my treasssure! N- *hic* No one getsss to have them other than me!!"

You have to deal with a very cuddly and lovey-dovey partner once they're drunk, but you wouldn't have it any other way. The day, by your standards, was absolutely perfect.

Longan Dragon Cookie is basically a harpy about the wedding. If nothing is perfect they will LOSE THEIR MIND.

Everything had to be in order. Everything has to be exactly the way it is. If it isn't, they will correct it themselves and give a harsh glare to whomever screwed it up.

The color theme is more muted colors, though you're the only one getting to wear an outfit the exact same shade as the gold they wear. Longan Dragon Cookie will not hesitate to have someone smote for wearing the color reserved for you only.

During the vows is when anyone can see the smile only they normally give you. They're finally together with their perfect partner, nothing can change that.

Dancing? Dancing.

It's overall a very calm and happy wedding! Everyone knows better than to upset Longan Dragon Cookie during this time.

Your wedding with Lotus Dragon Cookie has the best music, there's no doubt about it.

The shades of blue mix beautifully with green and purple, and yet your lover can't help but keep their eyes on you.

Lotus Dragon Cookie is going to be yours for the rest of time. They remember hearing your wish, for love and for companionship, and decided that just for a bit, they'd give it to you. They never thought they'd end up marrying you, but they don't mind one bit.

Their smile wavers just a bit as they see you walk up the aisle, but it's from happiness. They're the most noticeably emotional, with some tears pricking in their eyes. This is their wish come true, seeing you coming to marry them.

They absolutely play a song to you following the vows and the party beginning. They stayed up ages making it, and seeing your elated face makes it all worth it.

Ananas Dragon Cookie very nearly didn't invite the other dragons, but you managed to convince them. All it took was mentioning that they were the first to be wed, and look at their, their pride is through the roof and they're boasting over it.

You're definitely decked out in clothes that Ananas Dragon Cookie approved previously. While they love you immensely, only they get to see parts of your body some of those outfits would show off.

They're practically glowing with pride as you walk down the aisle. They just can't believe how lucky they are.

Ananas Dragon Cookie is always by your side afterward. Be it for dinner, dancing, speeches, anything. You're their shining jewel, and everyone needs to know who you willingly wed.

Expect lots of kisses afterwards.

I will say I'm disappointed that they're using the same Title Event style as usual. BUT! I appreciate that they tried to spice it up by adding a Hard Mode with new maps included. Plus, next update will see a return to rhe Labyrinth style event (like in Dessert Paradise), which will be such a relief. I miss the fuck out of the old main events, man. They were all so fun and unique. I genuinely don't know why they changed it to the exact same boring coin collecting shit. But at least they're trying to listen to player feedback this time, I suppose. Hopefully the trend continues

But that new Breakout episode looks FIRE. Running on Longan's back? It's peak, I'm afraid. And speaking of peak

OUGH MY HEART THEY'RE SO BEAUTIFUL AAAAAGJVKSGAKEAHWHDHSKANAHEH I don't know which costume I like more, honestly. Ovenbreak art team killing it once again (I do like Longan's lobby a bit more than Lychee's though. I'm a big sucker for Asian-inspired architecture and visuals)

As for what I want to happen in the story... My big bad wish has always been this: I want Longan Dragon to surrender. I've wanted this for ages. I think it would be a lot more thematically powerful if Longan chose to stand down and cease his machinations of his own accord. Not because he's suddenly gained any love or empathy for mortals, but because he can't bring himself to destroy the other dragons. Those 4 are his family. They are the only ones who ever meant anything to him. You can tell, underneath his cold personality, that Longan genuinely does care about them, in his own way. It would be more meaningful if Longan decided to put them and their wants first, like family is supposed to do for one another, and let them win. There's no change of heart, there's no sudden realization of the value of life or acceptance of change or anything. Longan just can't (or he can, but he won't) get rid of his family in order to achieve his goal. They're all he has left. In the end, he's doing all of this for them; because he thinks it's what they need most (and because he's a stone-faced tyrant with a disdain for any life that exists outside the sphere of his absolute control, of course). He thinks he's doing them a favor. A service. Just this one time, I want Longan to place THEIR wishes above his own. Maybe it's a silly idea but idk. I like themes about family and sacrifice. It's certainly more interesting than just "everyone bands together and defeats Longan with the power of friendship" lol

Also Gingerbrave better not actually do anything. I'm honestly tired of him being there lol. I'm tired of him being everywhere tbh. He somehow pops up in every story even though it has nothing to do with him really. Go away kid, not everything is about you

Some Ananaviar Headcanons...

Ananas has NO sense of personal space. They always go where Caviar goes and does whatever they please (they definitely always look over his shoulder to see what he's doing). Caviar ends up getting used to it, but sometimes he has to tell them no (especially if he has to go to Republic Elder meetings; just imagine a 8 foot+ dragon cookie just standing behind Caviar's chair just watching.....)

Ananas gets jealous EASILY. Dragons are possessive creatures, so this is no surprise. Any time Caviar talks to someone else (especially Oyster) they get cranky. Of course Ananas trusts Caviar (they admire and respect his loyalty), but they don't want anyone else taking him from them hehe

"HEYYYY~ Sooooo, Caviar and I have some business to attend to! No time to waste, sorry....." They just grab Caviar and yank them away while Caviar sputters a "hey i wasn't done talkin'-"

-insert loud purring noises- "ya can't keep doin' this, 'nanas..."
