Hello Richard Joy fans I accidentally flipped which Joy patriarch brother is the POS and now Howard is the biggest piece of shit instead of Donovan ✨✨✨
Definitely retconning Donovan's death and Joy's hatred of him because he's now Joy's first ally ✨

I was wondering if you could explain some things about your ROTTMNT AU comic, like when it takes place and if someone messed with Leo’s head, if his brother are really dead, that stuff… It’s honestly a little confusing 😅
but also really compelling, I’m serious to see where this goes!
Of course friend!
Ok, I'm going to try to explain things without spoiling too much cause ✨ suspense ✨ but this takes place around the time that the Shredder is released, and Leo's about 16 here. I gave him extra marks to show that he kinda has the potential grow outside of his trauma and the path set for him.
His brothers are sadly actually dead, but being Hamato helps him see them in their afterlives! I will go more in depth about their deaths, but we've got to get a bit more character development first.
Leo's head wasn't exactly messed with, yet. He just can't remember too much before waking up in Draxum's dungeon, otherwise he would have reacted a lot worse to seeing the goat man standing in his cell. Ah, head injuries.
Let me know if you have any more specific questions and I'll try to answer them!

What do you think of Weirsister's Mildred? Do you think I mature for better or worse? and why?
I’m probably not the best person to ask as I’ve only seen around four episodes of Weirdsister College. I didn’t care for the series at all and do not write or read about it, but I shall give my opinion. ✨
The general theme from The Worst Witch is still prevalent—Mildred screws up and saves the day in the end, but there’s a darker twist with more at stake.
Some might see it as natural maturation, but I feel as if Mildred lost her true character in the spin-off. There were opportunities for the writers to showcase Mildred as a skilled witch developing her gifts, while adding depth to the science of magic mentioned in series 1-3 (including her art talent). Instead, she was siphoned off in favour of creating drama/romance to appeal to a ‘boy-crazed fan base’ who’d grown up on the original show from 1998-2001, and were now entering their teen years.
While Mildred had moments where her true character shone through, for me personally, as soon as the braids came off, so did Mildred Hubble. She kept bad company at college and she became selfish. She gave up her friendship with Enid (which is a natural part of growing up) only to then continue positioning herself amongst bad company. Ethel and Mildred’s strange friendship/rivalry was overdone, and they seemed to forget everything they learned at Cackle’s. Mildred was weak and gave into pressure far too easily. She lost her fearless defiance that existed at Cackle’s, so I’d actually say she hardly matured at all.
The shift in focus between childhood, adolescence and responsibility is certainly interesting, but I can’t help but feel that her old tutors/peers would have been deeply disappointed in the person she became, and that the entire series suffered poor/contradictory writing.
All in all, I like to think Mildred truly matured when we saw her final scene in The New Worst Witch, but I would have preferred to see her final year at cackles academy for series four, instead of the college spin-off.
Thanks for the question 🌙

Do you have any thoughts about Shadow of the Erdtree and its story now nearly 4 weeks after release? It seems the story presented has been very divisive and I wonder what are your thoughts on the matter.
Hey there! 🌿✨
Shadow of the Erdtree has certainly sparked a lot of discussion, hasn't it? Now that it's been nearly four weeks since its release, I still can't quite collect my thoughts and keep pouring essay after essay into my drafts.
The narrative direction has indeed been quite divisive. Some fans, like myself, are excited about the new layers of lore and the expansion of the worldbuilding, while others feel it strays too far from what they've come to expect, especially in regards to character writing. I can understand both perspectives.
To keep it short, I'm really enjoying the new lore centered around Metyr, The Greater Will, Fingers, and Ymir. This direction was hinted at since the base game, and one of my last theory posts on this blog pointed out all the parallels between how the Greater Will operates and how humans perceive and try to comprehend the cosmos.
The lore of outer gods, the rise and fall of civilizations, the whole "life and power sprouting from death" theme taken to a new level, and the way the game blends the differences between faith and intelligence, the crucible and the primeval current—this is all the stuff that particularly stood out to me.
When it comes to the characters, the DLC somewhat fixed a lot of issues with the sometimes flat portrayal of some demigods in the base game and picked up on narrative details that were often ignored. I'm glad that Mohg isn't a Disney villain anymore, Marika finally got a backstory that gave her much-needed depth without removing her agency, and Miquella is… well, as I've pointed out many times, he's certainly more complicated than the anime boy in a flower crown that the fandom wanted him to be, though now the fandom is flanderizing him in a different direction. Truth be told, a certain ending twist is my least favorite part of the DLC, but more on a technical level rather than thematic.
Overall, I think the DLC is far more enjoyable for people who viewed Elden Ring as a collection of Miyazaki and GRRM's thoughts on humanity, civilization development, religion, and other philosophical or even scientific topics, rather than a more classic character-driven story. For me, it was certainly good enough to reignite my interest in the series again.

🦇 Breaking the Ice Book Review 🦇
❓ #QOTD What's your favorite sports romance? ❓ 🦇 NHL hot shot, Nick Hawkeye Hawke has 4 months to recuperate from a potentially career-ending injury. All he has to do is take it easy and keep things low-key. So, looking after his grandmother's beloved second-hand romance bookshop and working very closely with the ruthlessly efficient Samantha Evans is just what he needs right? Wrong! Career-driven Sam has impulsively decided to swap her highly stressful corporate job for a slower pace in her favorite bookshop at the exact time her biological clock has started to tick. And she wants absolutely none of that. But when your boss is a hot hockey superstar and you can’t stop daydreaming of him being your baby daddy, forced proximity takes on a whole new meaning. With temptation around every bookshelf, Nick and Sam find themselves skating on thin ice until they put themselves firmly in the friend zone. But the more they try to resist their slow burn, the more they want each other. How long can they stay in the zone until one of them breaks the ice?
💜 If you're looking for a sweet, excruciatingly slow-burn romance, this is for you. Let's break it down:
✨ Characters: Though I love a curvy FMC who knows what she wants in life and is ready to get it, Sam fell flat for me. She's sweet and flawed, but we're not given much outside of her baby craze, accounting acumen, and love for romance novels. The problem repeats with Nick; he plays hockey, has numerous older brothers, and loves cowboy romances. Nick's celebrity is used more as a plot piece than anything else. Beyond that, there's not much depth to these characters. They never even grieve over Birdie, the reason they're brought together in the first place. Every other man in this story is a cliche, irksome and misogynistic without real reason. The strongest character, Sam's sister, only appears in phone calls and one short visit, but even she's limited to an advice-giving older sister (with the kids Sam so desperately wants) who pushes Sam forward. However, I did love the parallel between Sam's first scene while getting ready in the morning to a scene later, when she's not over-analyzing or criticizing her appearance. Great show of character development (but what was Nick's, besides his sudden, unexpected desire to have a baby with Sam?).
✨ Plot and Pacing: Sam's focus is split: find a potential baby daddy and bide time until her old boss begs her to take her job back. Nick's focus should have been to recuperate, but that's abandoned quickly in exchange for helping Sam (be with another man) in any way he can. The fact that their priorities both shift so quickly should have told both characters their paths have changed. Instead, they both get a eureka moment after their split apart; a rom-com cliche. The pacing drags during the story's first half, then rushes forward in a dizzying blur, neglecting to allow readers to linger in the relationship.
✨ Romance: The story starts with the potential for enemies-to-friends-to-lovers, but the "enemies" part of that equation is quickly abandoned. I'm not sure what the point of starting with animosity was at all. Nick immediately falls for Sam, but his focus seems to be more on her curves than anything else. The slow burn drags, adding tension, but once the romance finally picks up, it's rushed, failing to provide any real heat. While their relationship is SWEET (trading beloved authors, Nick taking care of Sam), it starts focusing more on the physical than mental or emotional. For all their witty banter, they never really talk.
✨ Tone/Prose: There are moments when the dialogue is awkward, pulling readers out of the story while adding a layer of immaturity to the characters. The dialogue between Sam and the men at her office is especially cringe-worthy. Also, why were the phone calls between Sam and her sister in italics? Why? Those scenes gave us insight into Sam's mental state while giving the story small time jumps, but the formatting was weird and unnecessary.
💙 I never want to hear the phrase "cheeping eggs" ever again. Though I understand Sam's focus on a her ticking biological clock as a plot device to force her out of her comfort zone and into a journey of self-discovery, it's overdone and exhausting. Though it adds to the rom-com's comedy element, it makes Sam nearly one-dimensional. While I'm sure that's bound to be a turn-off for a great number of readers, I'm more irked by the story's queer element. Sam is given the chance to explore her sexuality, but Nick quickly laughs off the possibility that she's bisexual and makes a joke of it. If the story was really about self-discovery, that scene wouldn't have been so quickly discounted for laughs or used to push the characters into a romantic moment.
🦇 Recommended for fans of Hannah Grace and Elle Kennedy, though the "sports" portion of this sports romance really takes the backburner.
✨ The Vibes ✨ 🐣 Forced Proximity 🏒 He Falls First 🐣 Body Positivity 🏒 Friends to Lovers 🐣 Self-Acceptance 🏒 Contemporary Sports Romance 🐣 Slow Burn

Belated welcome to the fandom, I am making my way through Rough Night and I am obsessed. Was curious: how would you rank the gg seasons and why? Fave character and the one you hate the most? Thoughts on 2.13 - a terrible narrative decision or a way to jump start many more episodes of delicious angst?
Aw, hi anon! Thank you for the welcome. I’m excited to be here. 😁 And thank you for your kind words about Rough Night! That’s so sweet. 🥹
I really love all the seasons in their own ways. There’s something so special about each one. Ranking them is hard for me. If I HAD to, I’d say 2,1, 4, 3 – strictly for quantity and quality of Brio interactions.
Season 1 is just so full of moxy. It’s endearing and why I kept watching the show. Everyone looks so cute in it and their excitement to be working on this set really came through. I love their wigs and I love their outfits and I love their conspiratorial energy about this naughty thing they’re doing. I even love dumb Dean and his ridiculous schemes to keep his unhappy wife.
Season 2 deepened every character. It gave us glimpses into just how unhappy Beth and Dean’s marriage had been and for how long. She never looked at him the way Ruby looks at Stan. It gave us a better view into the disproportionate friendship Beth and Ruby have had for years. How Beth would choose her above everyone else every time, and how she expected Ruby to do the same. Foreshadowing for season 4. Of course, the ✨Brio energy✨ in this season is unmatched. It’s magic. The way they were so many things to each other here and how poorly they handled it all. 2.13, in my opinion, was an excellent narrative decision. Everything Brio had been to each other in this season led up to it and made perfect sense. It showed Rio for who he is – deeply emotional, imperfect, lonely, easily hurt and petty when he is. It was our first glimpse into his humanization. He wasn’t a smirky, all-knowing, impervious figure anymore. He was made into a man who feels compassion and confusion and attraction and wants validation just like the rest of us. Season two showed us just how much he NEEDS validation and how hurt he gets when he doesn’t receive it.
Idk why people don’t like season 3. Everyone loves angst in fic and this whole season was Brio angst. The way this man suffered feeds my soul. This is a much more emotionally complicated season and I love that for all of us. 😆 The indecision, the duality, the denial, the deep deep hurt. The way he made her watch while he killed someone. “My girl.” He said it to Beth, not Lucy. He held her eyes and brought a lamb to slaughter to show Beth she wasn’t above causing someone’s death. She wasn’t better than he is. And in turn, the way we got small glimpses into how Beth thinks about him when he isn’t there. Her scene teaching Lucy’s bf to shoot and what her holding that knowledge implied. How closely she was coached and guided. She was remembering as she took her aim and fired. Remembering all he’s taught her and remembering the last time she fired a weapon. The depth of her denial is so frustrating to watch because we see the care and nostalgia there for her. She just refuses to acknowledge it.
Season 4 was unmatched Rio personal development. If anything, I think THAT was probably the most out of character and out of previous scope thing to happen. The catalyst of Nick made sense but also was kind of barely believable as a plot line. It recast Rio as much less in control than we all assumed him to be, and made him much more subservient to his lonely predicament. Ultimately though, I buy it because it’s what leads Brio back to each other. And that’s all we’ve ever wanted. Rio, who’s held on to so much anger to try and maintain control, just gave it all up. Let it drift and wash away. “We can do whatever we want.” Sir! Pleeeaaaseeee! 😭😭😭 The way he did all the gestures. The way he self-sacrificed for her. Set aside all shreds of ego for her. I will tolerate all the trash boyfriends and all the bicycle bullies for the way Rio showed Beth all his softness. I wiiiiish we would have gotten to see her soften to him too. Our white whale.

Hello there! I saw and LOVED your Jedi Night art, it destroyed me emotionally, good job!!
Can I ask who your favorite SWR character was? And your favorite episodes? I get really excited to meet new people who love SWR, don't mind me!
Ok so first off, I LOVE to talk nerd, and second, can I be your best friend? You seem so nice🥺
So…. Question one:
Favorite Star Wars character?
Uggg that’s painful. I’ll divide it up
Movie trilogys:
So in the prequels I’d say obi wan.
The original definitely Darth Vader.
Sequels, Poe dameron.
Singles:
I love all the characters in rogue one, and I’m not gonna try to dig thru that mess 😅
And in Han Solo, Donald Glover played his part as Lando incredibly well, so probably him.
Shows:
Clone wars
So this was SUCH a good, and in depth show. It really showed the characters in a light that the movies could not.
Anakin was shown to do the wrong things for the right reasons. (The ends justify the means sorta stuff) and his fall from the light which was tragic, but KiNdA understandable? I really liked his character arc, even though it destroyed me🥲
Now Ashoka, is a lean, mean, girl power, fighting machine. Great character arc as well. (You wanna know what? Just assume that applies to all the characters I bring up) what I really like about her, is kinda finding herself. She was kept in the jedi order, and it was her whole life. Something that would be painful to walk away from. She kinda struggled through out the whole show with finding her balance. It’s important to apply that to our own situation I guess?
Obi wan, now I’m gonna have to keep my self from going on too long about him. Love him. I think he is what the Jedi all ought to be. He wasn’t so emotional stuffed, but he had a balance of emotions. Kinda like like control your emotions, lest they control you. (Looking at you Anakin) he went through his life, which was an incredible tragic one, with his head heals high. He could have easily turned to the dark side. His master died, Satine died, the Jedi order fell along with his friends. His brother turned against him, and died by his hand. That’s a rollercoaster life right there. And when faced with the question, he said that it takes strength to resist the dark side, which makes him stronger than those who don’t. That’s an important life lesson lol.
And there’s Rex. Simply put, he’s a good ol’ boi
Bad batch
I feel like this show hasn’t developed enough for me to say, but I do like echo, and wrecker a lot 😌
Mandalorian
For the mandalorian, obviously mando. He’s a great father, and ✨not✨ lone wolf. He Took care of his kid, and gave him up when he didn’t want to. Because that’s what he thought was best.
Rebels
Now rebels is a much better show that I was expecting. I love the family dynamic, it really captured that aspect well.
Ezra. He was an amusing bratty child in the first season, and I love him. At times I still wanted to smack him…. but I like the fact that he was faced many opportunities to turn bad, and didn’t. He dabbled a little perhaps, but he’s the type of person who has to try things out for himself, And learn lessons the hard way. As he got older he really matured, and he went from a small bean to a big bean.
Of course, I love Kanan. (I love all space dads. And adoptive dads) he was a beautiful and wonderful human being. And I’m so mad that Dave killed him off 😤😤 anyway, I like the fact that he was the first to admit that he didn’t know he was doing. Instead of acting like he was just teaching Ezra, he said they were both learning from each other.
Thrawn… for reasons
Favorite episodes, and arcs?
Rebels
I loved the bit, with the Sith temple. Ashoka finally meeting Vader, love it. So much drama. Introduction to maul, and just total legitness.
And the ending. As depressing as it was, seeing the conclusion it really makes me look forward to the Ashoka show. Although will be like almost 30, And he’d’ve missed out on so much😭
Clone wars
Oh there’s so many good ones. I love the episodes focusing on Ventress. It was an unexpected journey, and darth maul was somewhat involved as well.
Obviously Umbara. This one was exceedingly painful, but it really got the point across about the injustice and individuality of the clones. I know casual Star Wars watchers tend to skim over this a bit. super powerful.
The Mortis arc, was super epic, with great visuals, symbolism. And when Anakin found out he would become Vader I almost died
While I’m talking about clones, The order arc with the inhibitor chips was stupid good. And sad as well. (I apparently really like the emotionally devastating bits and pieces)
The one with Yodas trials was a really good one. I didn’t pay good attention the first time around. Just so u know yoda has never been one of my favorite characters. But I liked him a little better after this arc. It shows us his deepest fears, and it was really nice seeing so much foreshadowing.
Asoka leaving the order was super emotional and help put things in motion
And of course the siege mandalore. The final conclusion to the clone wars, in the beginning of the empire.
Anyways sorry for the long post, I’m sure this isn’t what you asked for but what can I say 🤷‍♀️ my life’s been hijacked by Star Wars. Dave this is your fault🔫

🌝, 🌈 about 'may these memories break our fall' and ✨
Thank you very much, I truly appreciate you <3
🌝Who is one character you haven’t yet written for that you would like to?
Literally any one of the cousins! I know I've dabbled in Molly Junior and Freddie, but I would like the opportunity to explore their characters more. But definitely Louis or Roxanne, I think they are two very interesting characters and I would definitely love to write them more. I have a bunch of headcanons for them, some that I have shared and some that I haven't (bc scary), so yes, probably those two.
🌈what inspired you to write 'may these memories break our fall'
I think the name says a lot, it was a Taylor Swift song that is the ultimate inspiration for this fic. Long Live is a song that screams James Sirius to me, and his friends (Freddie especially), and I think it was the line "for a moment a band of thieves in ripped up jeans got to rule the world" was the point that gave me the idea for the fic. A bunch of amateur (kind of, James is far from amateur) Quidditch players from different schools come together to compete in a Quidditch tournament. But also my inspiration came down to my love for James Sirius. I was at a point where I had developed him through my headcanons into this character that I love so much, I'd written him and had been building him for so long that his own multi-chapter seemed right at this time, and so, 'may these memories break our fall' was birthed <3
✨ Choose three adjectives to complement your own writing.
I cannot believe you're making me compliment my writing, do u think I have that ability??
In-depth - I always research thoroughly and like to have my characters and descriptions properly thought out before I begin writing.
Creative - idk, I guess i like some of my AU ideas
Emotive - I like to think I can inspire a lot of emotions when people read my fics
If you'd like, send me an ask :)

Rea rea REA, every time you write a new Ven chapter is a holiday in this house ok!!! Chapter 16!!! *chefs kiss* it had everything!!
You gave us love like Oprah handing out prizes: “Omera gets a blushy domestic moment!” Me too bro, I would lovingly watch her take care of my kid through her warmly lit window and envision a peaceful future with her! It is! What! Elana deserves! ;“Cara gets a muddy squishy hurt/comfort hug!” Cara not being into kids but still plucking Bean away so Elana can have ~training time~, Cara “””yeah you could call it a swim””” Dune; “Din gets asked about his name and everyone has some unresolved feelings!” !!! Din gently rearranges Elana’s posture! He is trying his best! Elana is RIGHT to be on her guard around him but I understand how it’s easy to buckle after hearing That Unmodulated Voice, I understand...but then!! You gave us action! Elana is so Fierce!! She worked so hard on her lessons! She made those kids feel safe even at such great cost! No one in the village was hurt! You can tell this is very traumatic for everyone despite their victory and I’m wishing them all a very take care of their mental health and recover! You gave us B E A N: he fall in a mud puddle! Din chuckle! Bean silently Nestle into Elana’s shirt to recuperate from the battle and everyone calls her mama (my heart is feeling both love and hurt,, how are you doing this WEEKLY)!Anyway I’m so proud of you bb! Your attention to detail, your depth of understanding of your characters, your plot development, your incredible balance of reader’s emotions?? It’s incredible!!! And I’m sure you work insanely hard to produce such amazing content 💕 I know you have your big list of WIPs, but whether you finish them today or next week or decide to move onto new ideas, you will always find people who love your work and appreciate you for creating it ✨ SO remember to take care of yourself OK! (We read those tags to make sure u are not overwhelmed! You know a lot of people would descent on you in a storm of frogs, blankets, and cake to make sure u r feeing your best!)

Oh my gosh???? When I opened this I literally gasped oh this is wonderful🥺😭😭
Bro I simp so badly for Omera it's not even funny anymore, I love her so much❤ she is just such a gentle but fierce soul and I swear if they dont bring her back in Season 3 I will RIOT
I'm so glad that you liked all the little moments in between and noticed all the details!! Writing Cara is incredible fun, she has such an easy voice while writing and her and Elana's interactions are very dear to me.
And Din!! Ooh precious tin can man, he absolutely tries his best but the two of them still have so much left unsaid and they definitely need to have a true heart to heart at some point because it's getting painful lmao.
Writing Bean is my absolute favourite thing😭 he is such a sweetheart and I just cannot get enough of him!!
And babe you're the absolute best, your kind words made me tear up and gosh, if I could hug you right now, I absolutely would🥺🥺❤ amazing people like you is why I love writing and share my stuff onto here, and please accept thousand kisses from me omg🥺💕💕💕
Thank you baby, I appreciate this so much😭❤

(Hi there! This is armallo-and-roul)
For that character building post, what is something about Lake that you’d love for people to know? What about him makes you smile when you think about him? ✨
While Lake started as a sort of self insert, just because I was answering the prompts as I felt they worked, he’s really blossomed into his own character. He has things in common with me, I gave him some of my traits, but they’ve gotten exaggerated or reinterpreted in a way that’s totally different from my initial plan.
It’s honestly really exciting that he’s developed so much and in so many different directions from me. I drew more inspiration from other things and have developed some real depth to him I think. I feel really proud of the ways I have expanded on him beyond what’s me or in the game.
