not to be gross but i just got the strongest hankering to eat a steak is it too risky to try to purchase and cook one when i haven't cooked meat in at least six months

You bought ground meat of your choice, and brought it home. It's in your freezer. You haven't eaten any yet.

You turn on the news and find out that a batch of that company's meat had been recalled because someone got stuck in the grinder, and so there's human meat mixed in. No fabrics/clothing, just meat. Maybe they lost an arm or something.

You check your meat, and it's from that batch.

could you speak more on the canned salmon with bones

canned salmon is an item available in most mainstream american grocery stores, including aldi. particularly when i lived on my own, this was a staple of mine, often mashed up with some guacamole, a little dijon mustard, and cooked frozen peas. i can understand how this might sound, uh, disgusting, but to me it nicely checked the boxes of quick, cheap, edible, and an efficient delivery method for protein and vegetables.

the particular cut that is canned has bones in it, principally (i believe), the salmon's spinal column and some ribs. these bones have been processed quite a bit and are perfectly safe to eat. maybe this should give me pause of some kind but i have always welcomed the negligible calcium and, well, the cronch.
