jus out of curiosity, can we see a sketch of yours? like a loose base sketch of a drawing, early in the process, just to see how you kind of build things. Do you use shapes, references, or do you just go with what you’ve memorized in your head? very curious
ive been doing a lot my sketches traditionally atm (usually when its comics)) but if im just drawing digitally my sketch kinda just becomes my lineart- but heres a recent traditional sketch for one of my recent comics !
i usually just use the base building shapes of like the head to just get placement then i work from there depending on the pose-

@sleepnoises i have paid tribute to fish wizard (hat is a fish)
this is a very small little painting (5"x3.5"!) in gouache done with four paints and two brushes. it is, iirc, my first painting of a sculpture and i had so, so, much fun with it
