Do any other nonhumans with complex and specific identities feel weird and confused about it?

I identify with a lot of individual terms like changelingkin, alienkin, androidkin, and I identify with different concepts or places like the forest, the rain and water, cryptids, and just generally being animalistic in different ways. It would be so much easier and make more sense if I was just polykin, but none of these individual identities are without being synthetic/robotic. I do not feel like a changeling without feeling synthetic. I do not feel connection to the forest and nature without myself being synthetic. I do not feel like multiple different animals/a shape-shifter without feeling synthetic. It all connects, there's no separation. I am a weird, complex robot of sorts, like an amalgamation. A random experiment of parts and things from another world put together just to see what would happen.

It's all so weirdly specific, and it doesn't feel like I 100% belong even in the alterhuman/nonhuman community. I feel like everything all at once and yet it makes me feel alone and confused

Plane transformation

Today’s kink topic is plane transformation!

Plane transformation is a kink around the arousal of being turned into a mechanical machine. In this specific context, planes!

You can find a surprising plethora of art for plane transformation in transformation kink communities. This is a kink thats more under the radar publicly besides being meme’d about in certain circle’s or bdsm spaces.

I think this kink has a wide array of applications for otherkinity. I know otherkin that are transformers. Hell. I have a mechanical/ machine alter who fronts with me in some bdsm contexts. I feel like transformation kink is very queer to begin with and gets way more queer the more you look into it. With this specific kink it seems to be very specific and there isn’t a lot of actual content on it besides sexual even then it’s still not a huge amount of content.

The point being it can be a great outlet or any mechanization kink for otherkin drawn to machine or machine parts. I have some ramustypes that are engine parts. I think personally for me I get really excited in factory or mechanic settings like garages now because of that. Getting “fixed” or “repaired” sounds like a lot of fun to me and requires a warm logical view point.

You can also explore more with allegories or metaphors. Feeling sad but fixing a part of yourself by acting as your own mechanic can be a method of self care. Seeing yourself as a machine may be the wall someone needs to treat themselves better since they know how to repair machines but not emotions (like me!)

Kink has always been an outlet of expression and getting to live out fantasies that you have typically drawn from the real world. It is no surpise to me that someone feels a sense of comfort being broken down to just parts and not having to be seen as whole or as a messy human being. Instead neatly and ordered parts in a machine. The state of mind os relaxing.

I’m gonna say some forms of roleplay like engineering or mechanic roleplay are going to work really well with this kink. If you want to add some more validation and get into the head space of a machine more I would suggest hypnosis, bondage that restricts your rotation of joints so its more mechanical. (Strictly up or down or left or right for example) adding gear could also be a great benefit. I feel cosplay armor could be fun or a transformer outfit. You could even turn the act of making the costume a kink since that will take some legitimate engineering. Having a dom measure and figure out how to actually break down your body to fit a costume and look like a plane. Probably going to be a lot of fun.

Food play could be fun restricting yourself to just liquids at times. You of course can also justify eating as a source of fuel by being maybe coal powers or bio engineered. Looking at you. Mystery flesh pit. So despite being a machine you still require a level of proper food and water.

I’m sure a power dynamic between a pilot and a plane is very exciting and may i recommend titanfall 2? Very fun power dynamic in that game.

Some scenarios can include things like pilot and machine. Test your skills and don’t fail the person controlling you. The setting could be in a war, training simulation, video game world, day to day life.

Being repaired after battle or as maintenance is also going to be fun and interesting for sure. Similar vibe to medical play but instead of needles its wrenches. Ngl I have a very big thing for oil and grease since my ex was a mechanic. So I smell av gas (gas for planes) get a little to excited. Associations like that can be fun to play on.

The corrupted machine. Do you wanna be a plane? But like- evil? Do you want to suddenly cut your engines and send your pilot plummeting to their doom or suddenly throwing them against unsustainable forces by doing 3 loop de loops without their permission cause they pissed you off? Maybe you just set your controls on fire sometimes and they just. Have to deal with that. Or get a flat tire before they take off and then cut your brakes and back into another plane.

Getting into it I would look in dronification spaces, machine kink spaces, cyborgs! Whomst are fellow alterhumans! You may even have a community local to you. I would look at local subreddits, furry pages, lgbt spaces, really just try to find a community and be the person to say “i wanna be a machine you guys know anyone else who fucks with that?” And see where it takes you.

Overall. I was given this topic as a joke and now I unironically really enjoy this concept and understanding why being helplessly or on purpose being turned into a plane seems really fun! People who are into planes to are really into them and yoy can gather a huge assortment of hyper fixations just on a single plane type or model. Having someone know everything about you is very appealing to me. Overall fun kink!

This dream I had

I had a dream about being a robot/android. I looked like a human except my face could lift off somehow and show the machine underneath. I could talk normally but if necessary make like a loud siren sound like a fire alarm going off. My programming did not allow me to harm humans. It was cool, but then I woke up and was me again. In the dream I was part of an exploration expedition like SG1 and my role was to help keep the base camp the team was working from secure. In the dream some people did attack the camp and I tried to detain them or deter them from their attack without harming them.

I’ve seen people on forums claiming robots, androids and machines do not have souls or a spirit. The claim that only living things have a soul, or only living things that can move around so excluding plants. If you look at life and reality from a Animist or Pantheist perspective this claim is rubbish. Anything can have a soul or spirit. Or from another perspective is that only God can decide who or what has a soul/spirit, we do not get to decide this or cast judgements on whether or not something can have a soul/spirit.
