Here’s Morticia… Here’s her rescue information… Posted @withrepost • @dogswithoutborders Ok village, LET’s DO THIS!!! Morticia is SAFE. All it took was someone to raise their hand to foster.   Now, the road to recovery from horrible neglect begins. This poor girl is covered in masses/tumors as you can see on her belly, has a big open gash on her elbow (2nd pic), eye infections, skin infections and will likely need at least one or more surgeries to remove the masses💔😭then we pray nothing is cancerous, etc. She is at the vets now getting the works but we are estimating her care will be close to $6,000 to treat all she has going on. We knew this would be a huge undertaking but seeing her intake video and her shaking terrified…we were truly sick over it. WE HAD TO HELP!!  So, we know now at least that she is safe from any further harm. 🙏🏻❤️ What we ask (and beg of you all) now is to please spare whatever you can to help her on her road to recovery. She’s got a LOT going on thanks to the he awful humans that did this to her but let’s all put our anger into action and show this girl the love and care she’s deserved all these years. Daisy is a gentle old gal. She has the sweetest spirt even though she feels horrible. McKenna chose to sleep with Indi in Molly's room and is doing very well! I stayed by Daisy's side all night long. She is very restless, lots of grumping going on. Poor sweet girl is very frail and shakey. I kept her company on her bed all night long. We snuggled and talked a lot 💗. She is in pain, has a gagging, awful wretching sound she's doing to throw up. She has her tail issue which is bothering her as well. She has many tumors along her mamory chain area. Overall extremely weak. I did get her to immediately eat last night and this morning. She has no energy but is doing her best to go outside to use the bathroom. Dr. A put her on Tramadol and Carprofen for pain. Benadryl to help ease her tail. Famotidine to help with the gagging. She is going later this week to get a full work up, xrays, and for Dr. A to check her lungs. I don't think I would describe her as an anxious dog at all. Heartbroken and in pain. Her demeanor is very peaceful. I’ve made a previous post explaining how my grandmother has been diagnosed with cataracts. I’m trying to help raise any money that I can to help her. With all of my bills, there is not much that I can help with. Her cataracts have gotten worse, and she’s afraid she is going to lose her job. If she loses her job, my family is going to be in a horrible situation. 

I’m asking for any help. She had applied for a loan and was denied, and it was her last chance at getting the money quick. She has to have the full amount before she can get surgery. She’s trying to save money, but she is sustaining a family of five by herself. 

I think the date they scheduled her surgery for was October 19th, so I have until then to raise whatever money I can. Her first surgery is going to cost $1,400. We’ve been scraping by trying to save every penny that we can, but it hasn’t amounted to much.

If you can donate, no matter what it is, I would be forever grateful. If you can only share/reblog this, that helps too. I appreciate anything anyone can do. I’m even willing to do sketch commissions in exchange for donations. I don’t have any examples up, but if you’re interested, you can pm me.

Right now I’m in excruciating pain from a disc that’s out of place in the right side of my jaw from being so flexible and it’s nearly unbearable. I also have no teeth so my jaw has a lot of stress when I need to chew and eat. I haven’t really been able to have any foods besides protein shakes and soft potatoes and meats. I wake up sweating and crying with the pain coming in debilitating waves. My doctors and the ER will not treat me with opioids so the next pain management option I researched was much healthier and possibly held way more benefits for me in the long run but it’s hard to pay for right now because I am not in a physical condition to be able to work however the cannabis has been life changing for my body’s wellbeing. It brings the pain down from a constant 10+ to a 3 or so most days and helps me with my appetite since I’m so nauseated from pain and not being able to get enough food in. To me this is my medication just like any other. I take one for my heart and one for my stomach, etc. Cannabis is my way of relieving inflammation naturally and avoiding emergency room trips because of how much pain I’m in right now.August 10th is my jaw surgery date so for now I just need to make it until then. To explain how this works I go to a dispensary and pick a strain that helps me the most whether it’s a vape cartridge, flower, or pills. Currently I’m having to combine all but it’s the only keeping me from giving up and I thoroughly research the benefits of all of them before I buy. A .5 g cart is usually between $45-$55 and the 3.5 g of flower I usually get is $45-$50 but I can get them to last a while. Usually when I’m in less pain that amount would last me a god month and a half but right now it’s lasting about a week. Please help me out even if it’s just sharing the fact that I do art commissions or you have a few spare bucks. I appreciate everything anyone can do.
