Let’s just say I’m delusional to look at small details now, but I’m always impressed at how House shows affection to Wilson in a few times he has to use words. Like at this time when Wilson mentions that there are only 2 things that matter to him: His job and his friendship with House. Rather than just saying that only his friendship matters, like in ss5 when House persuades Wilson to stay at PPTH after Amber’s death, House said: “They matter”.

House is always highlighted by others that he only cares for himself, a selfish bastard. Yet, he really does care a lot, especially for Wilson. Not only does he treasure their relationship, but he also thinks of Wilson’s job and reputation. This also shows in ss6 when House drugs Wilson to stop him from giving the euthanasia speech. He cares for Wilson as an individual, completely separate from their relationship. And I think that it’s beautiful.

They can never fight back against the lover's allegation since this is how they care for each other.

i don't think there's anyone out there who's more gothic haunted house narrative tragedypilled than domeric bolton. being an ok softhearted dude trapped in the dreadfort with your slimy turborapist dad i think won him that award. he was really doomed by the circumstances of his birth. roose saw him decent guymaxxing and was like 'well i guess my only known bastard son will kill him oh well.' what the fuck was up with domeric dude.

grieving a relationship is really teaching me just how many ties we have in life to others. I see this character and I think of when we watched the show together. I hear this song and I like it because they played it for me and used to listen to it with their mom. I dye my hair a different color and remember when the last time I did so I called them immediately afterwards. the books they got me into and the people they introduced me to. it's everywhere. so many parts of me are pieces of other people that ive met and loved. and it's simultaneously a very mournful and beautiful thing

Amy as Maddy/Tara, who ran away and never came home, who talks about things that can't be real (the TV show, the TARDIS, a world where they're strong, a world where they're something better).

Rory as Owen/Isabel, meek and yet loyal and yet terrified of his best friend and what she means. And what she says. And what she shows him.

Doctor Who, the TARDIS, the Doctor, all wrapped up into the role of the Pink Opaque, the TV show from their youth, and something Amy grasps onto and never let's go. Something Rory abandons for a normal life.
