Daddy Meliodas and Zeldris!

Headcannon:

Daddy is pretty much Permanent Assault mode Meliodas. As such his demonic marks aren't markings...Thats part of him. He has a few Dragon and beast like features. He's got sharp teeth so....Hope he doesn't bite.

He can put his wings away but most everything else isn't going away. He recognizes friends and Family. Unless he's in wrath mode then its only his family he can identify. When wrath mode let his wife handle him.

Should his Wife not be available then if will take all the Rebel friends to restrain him. And this will take a toll on all of them.

Vary much protective of his wife and Sons. He will let out growls as a warning to let others know he doesn't trust you near his mate and Babies.

After the Betrayal that costed him his lover and Boys. Daddy had to be sealed before the first Holy War started. Causing him to loose alot of his sanity. Leaving him more of a Demonic beast.

Present headcannon:

Daddy is mostly like an intelligent beast now with vary few speech unless its Demon Clans language. Even then he struggles with speaking. Now just lets out growls and hisses as vocal communications.

Will recognize his sons should he meet them again. And should that day come he will be a vary snugly papa bear. Pick up, holding, and cradling his Baby Boys in his arms. Despite being adults now. Both are still his babies that he missed. Best let him snuggle his boys or you'll piss him off.

Will defiantly recognize his lovers reincarnations. Will be vary protective of her and be near her at all times.

Should he meet Tristan. He will recognize he's Meliodas Kid. And will start snuggling him aswell. Again let him snuggle his Family!

(This was written weeks ago but was in my queue. I am moving back to my college town Saturday so busy days are to come but now I have things to procrastinate 😈)

So YAYAYAY time for season 2 (my fave season overall) !! I’ve rewatched this one before, so i actually remember some of this lol

i have thots abt the introduction of power levels that will be told beneath the cut

i mean it’s all very dragon ball (which i love, but in a very different way). I feel like they are just better executed in manga format, because saying the numbers out loud just kinda breaks up the flow of dialogue and action. Plus the numbers never stay accurate since the characters are always powering up and nakaba lowkey just stops using them at one point. so like assault mode!Meliodas has a power of 142,000. BUT he defeats enemies with powers higher than that and is shown to gain even more power. But this is the highest number we have for him. Overall, theyre clunky, not updated enough to be accurate, and just kinda cheesy :/ I feel like plot could have been added to justify and explain the eye of Balor (AKA Drole if i remember correctly) but it’s just used as an excuse to quantify the characters’ strength since this season is mainly focused on physical and emotional growth, as seen by the Ishtar Arc (one of my fave arcs hehe)

so Meliodas’s beginner stats (still missing his powers) are magic 400, strength 960, spirit 2010. The way I see it, his insane spirit strength could mean one of two things: bitch is just hella determined in his quest to end their curses and protect his friends (likely) or merlin taking away his power only affects his strength and magic since spirit has to do with your mind (also likely) anyway what do y’all think?

the first thing Zeldris says is “3000 years... please tell me that he’s still alive” which tells me two things: 1) he doesn’t know about Meliodas’s curse, which could explain why estarossa kills him when he’s just going to come back a rival to the throne of the demon king and 2) the listed life expectancy of 1000 years for demons is probably not accurate lol

maybe it’s driven down due to number of battle deaths like the mortality rate of the middle ages lol

So the whole concept of sacred treasures is really cool to me because they are clearly something unique to the Sins, despite all of the sacred treasures being very different and made of different materials. I mean Gowther’s is straight up made of light Still, them having weapons that serve as a constant and grow with them as they become more powerful is just a neat concept to me. I just wish we could have seen Ban use Courechouse more than just a few episodes. There really isn’t a plot reason he couldn’t have had it beforehand.

I honestly love that Meliodas destroyed the albion on his own. Like yes, he is my OP blorbo BUT he’s also supposed to be incredibly powerful in canon, which we haven’t seen him go all out with an enemy yet. Not only does he know all about albions (bc he’s a demon), but as leader of the 10 Commandments, he probably was on the controlling side of the golems. Then, as a member of Stigma, he fought against them. Not to mention, this is when he finally gets Lostvayne (the DEMON sword) back. This moment for me is when he gets to show off the perks of him being a powerful and high ranking demon. Might fuck around and do a full post later on Meliodas’s relationship to his own race and what/who he is lol

Also, I think them being super young just enhances the angst quite well.

So I was watching the scene in S1 where Meliodas gets injured and has to see a doctor and the doctor poisons him and the dude doesn’t die. I realised that that was an early hint at their curses and their curses have been under our nose for a long time. Now I feel stupid. He probably did die in that scene and came back to life due to his curse and ended up losing some of his emotions, and then he lost more of his emotions in the second vaizel fighting festival, causing him to go insane after going into assault mode to break from Melascula’s cocoon of darkness.

rou's [10-14] village is annihilated by stigma for harbouring a demon.

the six knights of black go rogue after being forsaken by the demon king. as if to prove themselves they go around attacking stigma settlements in fierce fights which is noted by stigma.

the six knights of black launch an attack on a sky temple occupied by the goddess clan and some stigma allies. baruja and galand are also present during this assault. when it appeared the demons were losing, baruja became an indura to protect his allies and began rampaging. however the mother of chaos puts a stop to this, giving the winged sword previously belonging to mael, to seal baruja, the six knights, and a number of other demons within the egg rock. the remainder of the demons, including galand, escaped in the chaos.

the stigma incident occurs. much of the fighting force for stigma takes a heavy blow due to human group rou [29] was a part of. demons suffer heavy casualties (civilians and soldiers) and lose gowther (and his proxy) after he escapes from the demon prison. elizabeth saves the lives of derieri and monspeet after they undergo an indura transformation.

mael turned into estarossa by gowther via a forbidden memory spell at the cost of his life. estarossa receives the love commandment from the demon king and becomes a demon.

zeldris conscripts gloxinia and drole into the commandments and retrieves the selflessness from gowther's corpse. gloxinia is given the repose. drole is given the patience.

the second fairy king, dahlia, is born from the sacred tree.

zeldris is given the piety, becomes leader of commandments.

the giants and fairies withdraw to their own homes and / or realm.

the coffin is broken into fragments to prevent the seal on the demon clan from being disrupted.

the holy war concludes.

Rant Ahead! (And spoilers for the newest chapter!)

I love Lancelot as a character, I really do. He is such a badass dude with snarky comebacks. He really is his father's son with his attitude and laidback personality on certain situations.

However, I'm starting to feel as if Lancelot is becoming too overpowered. Even more so than Escanor. He hasn't lost a battle yet, and he just defeated Nanashi with little to no trouble. Nanshi is most likely on Archangel level, and Lancelot just fucking oneshot him. Just like that.

If it were Meliodas or Zeldris, I bet they'd have more of a struggle with fighting Nanashi. Zeldris had trouble with facing Mael.

There are no stakes when it comes to Lancelot nowadays. We KNOW that he is going to beat the enemy, and it's growing kind of repetitive. I expected Lance to struggle just a BIT with Nanashi. But no. Within minutes, Lancelot seemed to absorb the magic and oneshot Nanashi without any hesitation or injury on his part.

With Escanor he struggled against Assault Mode Meliodas, who was at the same power level as he was. He needed to rely on extra power and burn his life up to be able to defeat the Demon King because his normal magic wouldn't be enough to beat him. And to be able to save the sins.

I want Lancelot to actually struggle against an enemy. I get that he's a powerful person, but can we get some actual tension between Lance and an enemy? Can it not last just two minutes before the enemy throws in the towel?

Sweet jesus the pacing in these fights is horrific. How is a showdown between assault-mode Meliodas and Escanor at noon so damn boring? And where’s the music?!

Crimson Angel's physically are only noticed via their Red Crimson angel wings. They have just 2 wings and not four like the Goddess race. However the simple sight of the wings is enough to send fear into a demon and Goddess. Ethers mindset going: "Oh....I'm gonna die right now...". Now Crimson Angel's come from/Evolve from certain humans. As they have to be able to handle both light and Darkness without going batshit insane. This is important cause Meliodas and Zeldris Mother met their father before she grew her Crimson wings. And their Father was more assault mode Meliodas. So....in other words....a HUMAN won their fathers heart...let that sink in.....Mama had the guts to SLAP the demon prince around if she needed to. There's a whole how the two met a grew to love each other. And hopefully it shows how much alike Meliodas is like his mother.

-I don't own anything but one of the oc's which is my oc Luadine (inspired by the Arthurian name Laudine who in Arthurian legend was The Lady of the Fountain. The Lady of the Fountain appeared in several different versions of romance, with the hero Yvain (Owain), the son of Urien. The Lady of the Fountain was named Laudine. Some version of Chretien de Troyes’ Knight of the Lion does not give her name. In the one of the Welsh poems, called the Lady of the Fountain, belonged to Mabinogion, she was just known as the Lady of the Fountain or Countess of the Fountain.

Laudine was known also by her title as the Lady of Landuc and was the daughter of Duke Landunet. Laudine was the Countess of the castle and the magical forest around the magical fountain or spring (Otherworld). By pouring water from a silver bowl on to a great stone, a sudden and fierce storm, causing destruction through the forest and castle. Since most 7 Deadly Sin characters names are Arthurian, I decided to make a lot of my oc's have Arthurian names, but I also think it's a pretty name that suits her).

- She is described by those she meets as "The most beautiful woman to exist". If you couldn't tell, she is the daughter of Liz the 106th reincarnation and Meliodas, she takes after both of her parents with her father's blond hair and mothers sea blue eyes. She is seen as a tall, slender, attractive, pale skinned young woman. She has long and beautiful blond that ends at her waist and she possesses big, beautiful sea blue eyes. She has a beautiful figure as well (her measurements are Bust 85 cm (34) Waist 57 cm (22) Hips 90 cm (35) Bra Size 34 E Cup). She is quite tall in height, about 5'8 (I know Kiri is 5'7 so I'll make him 6'0) She is also 16 years old; she was born in Danafor 16 years and when the Sins split up, she ended up with her father. Since she's half goddess/human and half demon, she is known as a Nephilim.

[Magical power]

Being the daughter of Meliodas and Elizabeth, and perhaps especially as the granddaughter of the Supreme Deity and the Demon King, Luadine has possessed above average combat skills the age of 6, both with bare hands and/or with a sword. Even Merlin finds she possesses an impressive Power Level for a girl of her age.

At 16, her fighting skills seem to have greatly improved. She is also shown to have inherited Goddess powers from her mother and Demon powers from her father, which she can manifest either separately or simultaneously. She has full control over both her goddess and demon powers.

Ark: As a descendant of the Goddesses, Luadine is able to generate and manipulate "Divine Light" in the form of particles capable of disintegrating anything they touch. It can be used in different ways such as energy beams, explosions, barriers, or extremely large blades, in her case equal and wider than the leader of the Archangels' just like her mother. She is still able to make energy beams, explosions, and barriers with her Ark. It is mainly used to counteract darkness by disintegrating it with light, but it also can cause great physical damage to the targets. Even before gaining full control over her power, an involuntary Ark was enough to obliterate the flesh of Derieri's hand while the attack of a Divine Lance Corporal was completely ineffective against it. ​​​​​​Sometime later, her Ark grew enormously in size and power enough to injure Meliodas by making large cuts that bled profusely which he wasn't bale to heal himself in his Assault Mode, enclose Estarossa by sending him fly with enough force to cause considerable damage to a nearby mountain range, and then again even when he absorbed three Commandments.

Flight: As a descendant of the Goddesses, Luadine can deploy two large pairs of ethereal, white-feathered wings allowing her to move through the air. Its feathers turn black when it deploys its Dark Magic.

Empathic Power: Like her mother, Luadine has developed a mysterious ability that allows her to persuade others by speaking into their hearts and souls. Let There Be Light: Just like her mother, Luadine crosses her arms, firing off drill-shaped projectiles purifying massive darkness and extracting it from the target, including any lingering hatred the dead may leave behind that prevents them from fully passing on, even when inside a host. It can also be used to rip darkness off someone's body, including the Indura form of the Demon Clan.

Healing: As a druid, Luadine can heal injuries rather easily by channeling her power. Initially uncontrolled like when she instantly healed everyone during ______________________ with relative ease, Luadine eventually gains control over the spell to heal even more severe injuries from armies or groups filled with lethal damages. Hendrickson admitted that even the master druids' healing capabilities pale in comparison to Luadine's prowess, who is even capable of dispelling a curse placed by the Demon King's magic on a minor extent.

Full Counter: Just like her father, this ability allows Luadine to reflect magic attacks aimed at her, back at the enemy, but with much greater power; therefore, the stronger the opponent's powers are, the rebound becomes.

Power of Darkness: As a descendant of Demons, Luadine can manipulate her Dark Magic for various purposes, such as increasing her Physical Power. Unlike her brother, Laudine has full control of her darkness and use it with ease. Her power is unlimited with this, she isn't on a limit like her brother, nor does she lose control and go berserk.

Hellblaze: Luadine can also tap into the Flames of Purgatory and project them into inextinguishable black flames capable of piercing Meragaland's body.

Purgatory Fire: A powerful, dark flame that never extinguish and is capable of negating regenerative abilities. It also can be invoked in the form of an enchantment.

Poison Resistance: As they are naturally accustomed to miasma-rich environments, Demons can more easily survive poisons and toxins than Humans or Giants, such as the poisonous medicine concocted by Doctor Dana or the Acid of Hendrickson. However, Demons can easily be poisoned by the miasma of Purgatory or the excretions of an Indura of Resentment. Being a descendant of demons, Luadine possesses this power.

Loves bombs: The magical power Luadine didn't inherit from her parents manifested from her love for Kirishima and her will to protect him at all costs. It allows her to release magic constructs from her attacks that act like explosives much like Isoldes magical power, however Laudine's explosions are so powerful it causes mass destruction and can both kill and destroy kingdoms. There's a possibility that her explosions can bring destruction to the whole of Brittania if she's strong enough.

Meliodas is such a monster in fights.

Physical prowess is stupidly off the charts. He can effortlessly blitz most with just his hands, just blinking them away. Destroys a prison meant to withstand 10 tyrant dragons - each who can level a town - while arm wrestling. Just embarrasses Dogedo who is lauded among his knighthood for strength, shattering his hand like he folded a piece of paper. Parries Drole  ( a giant with four arms who is considered a fighting god amongst his people ),  punching him at three different angles near simultaneously, and then slices his arms off with basically no resistance. In a single sequence he easily tore through miles of the dense rock maze created from Drole's magic, destroyed Gloxinia's cursed tree like it wasn't even there and then snapped Gloxinia's spine in half with a single punch, almost killing him on the spot. The top half of Fraudrin's body just straight up disintegrated in one blow after Meliodas bullies him lmao, and this was a guy who said he had the power to wipe out Liones. He blows away mountains like a house of cards with the force of his sword swings in 4kota. Split in mountain in half with a twig in the earlier half of the series. He 1v3s three top ranking demons while defending Elizabeth and puts them in their place while looking like he barely exerted any energy. Took on Mael by himself back in the day and made him back the fuck off.

Crazy strong magic strength. The man blows open 30,000 ft holes into the earth that obliterates surroundings into nothing, once by accident which deleted the entire kingdom of Danafor off the map and again when he sealed Gelda at Edinburgh. Also was trained by a master in the arts of magic, Chandler.

Power level is ridiculous. Ok, the combat classes we see are really just resting power levels that can and will fluctuate. They should be used as vague guidelines to indicate tiers of power rather than something immutable, and that bigger number means you can play in the same league as other huge numbers though they don't guarantee shit, they just grant the access pass. Now then. With Mel ?  His is constantly in flux. The thing just keeps growing, or rather returning to what it used to be before Merlin gipped him. It’s 60k when he fights Fraudrin and it becomes even greater when you factor in his demonic powers. It’s 142k when he first uses assault mode, and only continues to grow as he recovers his original strength. It’s at least on par with, if not easily greater than Mael, who already surpasses Ludoshiel at 201k in a vessel. Ludoshiel basically said he needed to team up with Sariel and Tarmiel before daring to pick a fight with Meliodas on his own. The goddess Elizabeth is Meliodas’ closest equivalent in power, and she was noted to be equal to / stronger than the four Archangels. In the end it was still nothing before the Demon King and Supreme Deity.

Can be scarily accurate. Senses Gilthunder's spear coming which was thrown from over 7 miles away, walks outside and catches it, throws it back, and simply destroys the fort Gilthunder was in instead of killing him outright, which would have been easy to do.

He's skilled with blades. He uses short swords nowadays but has used enormous broadswords before, which seem to be his preference of weapon. He’s said he likes heftiness in a weapon. While his sword techniques aren’t as fast as his little brother’s, Meliodas still has a move that cuts something 1000 times in an instant and uses a movement that looks like him sliding his blade an inch out of the sheath before putting it back and not moving from his spot at all, which then translates to Galand casually diced to ribbons a second later ( the same guy that instantly jumped miles out of merlin’s range before she could finish lifting her hand ). Destroys all the fake Zeldris’ by himself in a single move.

Durability is almost unfair. Can withstand light magic that disintegrates demons and is implied by Estarossa to be able to take attacks intended to destroy a demon at the molecular level to the point where they can’t regenerate. He just tanks nuke level attacks to the face, being barraged by Derieri’s 50+ Combo Star ( where each consecutive blow receives an additional 200,000 pounds of force compared to the previous one ), and can still fight after being punched through a mountain or being cooked by Monspeet with an attack that reduced previously a mountain to nothing. Survives a consistent assault from the Ten Commandments. Treats getting a limb severed like snapping back on a lego piece.

Insane speeds and reaction times. Dismembers Guila’s hand before she realizes it’s gone before proceeding to tear Ban in half. He can react to lightning and the movements of Ludoshiel, who has a grace that lets him move at the speed of light. He blocks a lot of the surprise attacks people throw at him, even when someone is invisible. Crossed several miles in about two or three seconds while basically ignoring any obstacle Gloxinia threw up in his way. Takes on Zeldris’ and Estarossa’s attack with no issues before swatting aside Cusack like a bug.

He's a cunning tactician. It's best to try and kill him quick before he works out your moves and kicks your ass six different ways. It’s shown numerous times that while he can get caught off guard initial in a fight, he’s incredibly adaptable and usually recovers pretty quick to retaliate, often to devastating effect.

Lifetimes of experience. Man’s old, so he’s got thousands of years of fighting experience. Accumulated knowledge like that is nothing to scoff at when it’s being used against you in a battle.

Generally blocks mind reading, even the heart reading abilities of the fairy clan. Though he's not immune to things like Drole's eye or Gowther's Invasion.

Full Counter, aka virtual immunity to magic attacks if he knows the nature of the attack. The opponent's attack blows up in their face with at minimum twice the power. It doesn’t matter if it is a projectile or something physical infused with magic like a weapon or fists. Depending on the magic tossed at him, Meliodas could probably kill you using a spoon or a stick honestly.

Counter Vanish deletes “magic” attacks full stop. It nullifies the magic portion and turns a fireball into a puff of smoke or can reduce a tidal wave to a kiddie puddle.

Revenge Counter is basically Original Demon’s Crisis  ( allows power to constantly increase while taking damage ). He accumulates damage over time to gather it into an exponentially stronger attack and one shot his enemy. Only difference is that his stored damage is reduced to 0 again after it’s used while Original Demon maintains it.

Can use other magic. Chandler is his teacher after all so he has a variety of techniques and a great understanding of magic. He just actually chooses not to use it because he prefers the Full Counter he’s got and he likes to physically beat up people instead of wailing on them from a distance. Can you believe this ?  Ignoring a whole branch of attacks for the most part because the guy literally said he prefers kicking ass while up close and personal.

Darkness has such utility and for what. Shields, weapons. He can just. Sprout wings of darkness and fly. He's hard enough to fight on the ground, much less adding in aerial maneuvering.

At least twice as strong at night because the biology of his species works that way.

He's a demon so he can do a number of other things, like possess a person, eat their soul, survive getting cut in half, has multiple hearts and won't die until they're all destroyed, etc.

Access to Hellblaze. A powerful, inextinguishable flame. Think Amaterasu but dialed up and none of the blindness drawbacks.

Can inflict curses and seal a person. Gelda was safely tucked away under a spell that no one but Merlin noticed. Zeldris was standing right above that hole Gelda was sealed in and had no idea she was down there. The man spent 3000 years researching curses in order to break the ones inflicted by the gods.

The more he leans into the demon side, the more cruel he can be. He has a tendency to play with his opponent, viewing them as entertainment. At a certain point his callousness grows and he likes seeing others suffer in despair. When he stops fucking around, he just brutalizes the other, often quickly killing them.

Assault mode. Take everything above and multiply it several fold. Sometimes he indiscriminately attacks.

Immortality via curse. Even if you kill him, he'll eventually come back. In that sense Meliodas is unable to lose a long term battle of attrition, seeing as he'll revive whereas the other most likely won't.

If you somehow add the Love, a completely broken commandment, and the fight's over before it began if you hate anything whatsoever. You’re infinitely stun locked, can’t pick up a weapon or even stand up, meaning you’re a sitting duck and its open season for Meliodas.

Melizabeth headcannons + a sprinkle of Tristan

When Elizabeth gets in her head about not being combat-oriented like the rest of the team, Meliodas gets the two of them alone and talks to her about everything he wants to do with her. (Usually, he's just picking things he and Elizabeth have done and loved in past lives. It's bittersweet, but it works.)

Meliodas has been asked who his favorite Elizabeth incarnation was. He says he doesn't have one, and he doesn't, but if you ask him in private it was Elizabeth Liones that made him fall in love with her as hard as he fell the first time.

Elizabeth thought about proposing after the first outbreak of the Holy War, but decided against it. If she had asked, Meliodas would have said yes and made a huge deal about it.

Meliodas cried the first time he held Tristan. And the second time. It took a solid couple months, actually. He still tears up sometimes when he hugs his son (!!!!his son!!!!!!)

Both of them were really anxious about becoming parents, but especially Meliodas, since he has zero positive reference points. He ends up being a huge pushover when it comes to Tristan, but doesn't care at all. If it's that serious, Elizabeth will say no. It's better than the alternative.

Elizabeth was so indecisive with her bridesmaids. so indecisive. She ended up asking both of her sisters to be maids of honor, and asked Gelda. (She didn't want the responsibility, but was very touched that Elizabeth thought of her.)

Meliodas was a wreck before the wedding. Zeldris managed to do anxiety control and kept him in one place until Elizabeth walked down the aisle, at which point Meliodas promptly started crying.

Meliodas has issues with compulsively lying to Elizabeth, but he hated that he did it so much he kicked the habit in a matter of weeks. Elizabeth is very proud of him for that and many other reasons.

Elizabeth has reoccurring nightmares about Meliodas in assault mode, telling her to hit him. Meliodas forgave her for it almost immediately, but she still thinks she could have found a better way.

Elizabeth originally wanted a small ceremony with just family and close friends, but wanted Meliodas to have whatever he wanted for the wedding more, and he wanted a big ceremony. She's glad they went through with his vision.

Meliodas has reoccurring nightmares that they were wrong about breaking the curse, and he'll still be immortal while Elizabeth and Tristan grow old without him.

Elizabeth is bisexual. Her first crush was Nerobasta when they were fledgelings, before she met Meliodas. I will die on this hill.

Meliodas' favorite sound is Elizabeth purring. Yes, she purrs. It's much quieter than him, but he can hear it when she falls asleep on him, which she does a lot.

You think Meliodas has a problem with giving Elizabeth whatever she wants? It's even worse the other way around.

Elizabeth is a huge sucker for Meliodas' puppy eyes. He knows and takes adventage of this all the time.
