God it really depends on the mood but when I first read your ask my brain instantly said Micheal in the Bathroom from Be More Chill.

Cause in high school I used to dance and perform to those songs in my living room. I was a lonely theater kid so I really liked BMC and Micheal especially. TLDR: I had a mini mental breakdown while singing this song, it was all cause I got my period right as the song hits peek sad.

Ok so I've been wondering, How does optic nerve blocking work??

I'm guessing it would be extremely difficult to just 'Remove' someone from view, I mean from pictures is one thing but to a constantly changing subject- especially one that might be trying to get your attention? Yeah no, Doesn't sound too easy. (Although this is a fictional supercomputer we're talking about so I guess it's not out of reason.)

I was thinking- maybe it works like..Ok this is weird to explain, You know how Disney supposedly has that specific green paint for things they don't want guests to notice?? What if it just makes it so that the SQUIPs user just doesn't really register that they're there? Sorry this is a "Just woke up" ramble, and I'm not the smartest person so..

So, fun fact this au produced my first fanfic I’ve ever posted! (Full disclosure it’s 4 years old and I’ve improved a lot since I wrote it- I’d love to write it again with my current skills.)

But, I had this idea back in 2019 of Christine needing to take a breather before she talked with Jeremy again instead of fully leaving the party after she turned him down. So, she runs to hide in an upstairs bathroom, where Michael happens to be hiding! I actually was planning on making it into a comic, but I did not have the art skills or motivation to get it to what I wanted, so I decided to just write it out instead.

I’m not gonna spoil too much but they leave the party sort of friends, and yk, it’s all okay. I’m a sucker for Christine and Michael friendship and I always have been, so I thought them bonding over their shitty nights may have been a good way to start that for them lmao.

I’ve considered exploring the idea further with how it might affect the rest of the story after MitB, but I never really got anywhere with it.

it can be a struggle writing for boyfs sometimes when I do it from Michael’s perspective of pining because like. He DOES have the right to be upset at Jeremy for everything that happened it’s just that it doesn’t mean Jeremy is a bad person for doing so, so I try and find this balance between Michael having the right to be upset without victim blaming Jeremy for the entire musical

Yeah. I don't read a lot of romantic boyfs anymore (because so much of it veers into victim blaming), but like. Yes, Michael has the right to be upset. However, Jeremy also isn't a bad person, and was abused the entire musical. And what most people kind of miss is that Michael screwed up, too. He brushed off Jeremy's legitimate grievances pre-Squip, and literally held the Mountain Dew Red hostage for an apology (the thing that would have given Jeremy freedom from his abuser, and this act also put everyone else at risk).

There is a balance, and both have things to apologize for. The key is finding the balance without being too hard on either Jeremy or Michael.
