Ok since i got started on WEBTOONS and webcomics or whatever u wanna call them, I think i should share some of my all-time favorites from that fuck-ass site:
Stagtown
Muted
Suitor Armor
Heir's Game
Asterion
Castle Swimmer
The Beast of Hadingley Hill
Miracle Simulator
Brimstones and Roses
LoveBot
Marry My Husband
Jackson's Diary
To the Stars and Back
Not So Shoujo Love Story
REEDS
literally all of A. Rasen's works
Some of these are finished and some of these are ongoing, but unfortunately a few (ahem, miracle simulator and marry my husband) cant be read in their entirety without spending money in the app. but otherwise yeah. comic

No no it’s the black guy instead who got away from Melvina. She was so steaming mad I laughed at her so hard right after
I just went back and reread all of Melvina's therapy and I was right about the guy in the Chairs chapter being the only one to escape completely unscathed.
The astronaut one is a bit of an ambiguous case, and I guess you could say he "got away".
To me, however, it reads more like he succumbed under pressure (Melvina says he was nothing more than a small fish), and Melvina is pissed because he's another botched experiment that she couldn't use.

Melvina's Therapy:
It is actually one of the most disturbing horror webtoons that sorts of creeps under your skin.
The Guy Upstairs:
The suspense is nerve-wracking in the best possible way. The reader and protagonist both know the antagonist is a serial killer from essentially E1, but the inability to prove it creates an infuriating sense of self-doubt in the protagonist and me as a reader. It's currently ongoing, so there's still plenty of room to speculate and wind yourself up with all of the possibilities. I don't think my propaganda does the series justice, and that's a shame, because it's my favorite!

Here are some of my favorite horror webtoons for those who enjoy this format. Some are already listed on my recs page, while others I’m currently reading. I’ll keep adding more as I discover ones worth checking out. Since I read so many, I might separate this from my horror manga list.
I’m not ranking them, so I’ve arranged them in alphabetical order (this also matches the order of the images at the top - from left to right).

i hope there're girlbloggers like me reading webtoons so here is the list of things i 100% recommend to read this spooky season or anytime if you like horror just like i do
Melvina's therapy (i LOVE A. Rasen's work!!! please read the whole horror thrilogy if you like the genre. this one is SO SCARY i couldn't think about anything else for days)
Welfare center (really intense! i thing it's a good thriller. it's an ongoing)
Nina's magic chest (my latest discovery, can't wait for another chapter)
Horang's nightmare (a must-read for a truly spooky experience. made by the famous Bongcheon-Dong Ghost webcomic author. i think it may be the most well-known title of all in this list)
Tales of the unusual (this is a long one and it really has variety in it. a collection of nice horror stories by the same author, qutie famous title, too)
Scroll if you dare (a horror anthology, and i think it's a good one! i enjoyed the Evergreen Nursing Home chapter a lot)

I still can’t believe I found another person that’s read Melvina’s Therapy. I like how in the end, there’s only two people who get out from all of it, and I liked Melvina’s frustration at the astronaut guy actually getting better and how that’s when we realize the therapy is for HER and she makes these people worse on purpose to “vaccinate” herself against their fears so she’ll never be as afraid of death as she was in her youth.
Oh I may be misremembering but doesn't the astronaut actually get worse? He doesn't survive Melvina. The only one who does get away in time is the one who manages to escape the chair... besides Bea, but the chair guy is the one who escapes unscathed.

Melvina's Therapy:
It is actually one of the most disturbing horror webtoons that sorts of creeps under your skin.
The Horizon:
An apocalyptic event has wiped out most of the population. A young boy meets a girl in the sea of dead bodies. Bound together by their shared trauma, they keep walking forward in hopes of finding a safe haven. But does a safe haven exist in a world that has lost its humanity?

It's interesting to look at the Horror genre in Webtoon.
You've got Melvina's Therapy, which was a love letter to a bunch of famous horror bits while attempting to make its own horror villain/eldritch situation.
Some - presently running and completed both - feel like Tales from the Crypt; Just sets of short story compilations from the same author or group. Totally a legit way of doing things, and in horror it's nice because you give yourself narrative freedom to murder whoever to make the plot work. Things like Tales of the Unusual, Vault of Horrors, and Webtoon at Midnight.
You've got Don't Read This which is attempting to elicit emotional beats to allow a reader who doesn't have anxiety or ptsd to have a sense of what it is like.
You've got Everything Is Fine which is functionally a cross between the "evil neighbors" horror of Body Snatchers or Stepford Wives and a death game with confusing rules/world in the storytelling tradition of Danganronpa.
You've got Bunny Girl and the Cult, which I'm almost positive started off with the Comedy or Romance tag and swapped over to Horror. The art style seems not to support the horror, but then I remember how many "death moe" anime there are.
When I'm judging my music in my playlist, I give it stars based on how often I want to listen to it. If I thought of Horror the same way I'd say I hate horror. It's rare these days that I'm in the mood to consume it. But that's not actually the same thing as dislike. In their own time, I like all the comics I've mentioned here. If you like horror they may be worth your time.
