To add on to that last post i reblogged, I'm actually like. Super confused by the Crows at this point lmao
The game feels like it really wants us to think of the Crows as unlikely heroes. But uhh, is our character supposed to just ignore the child slavery and abuse stuff they do?
Or do they not do that anymore? i don't remember it being mentioned, unless it's mentioned in codex stuff I haven't finished reading
If they don't do it anymore, did they change their policies at some point in the story line, or has Zevran's backstory been retconned altogether? Does Zevran even exist anymore lmao
I think it would've been really interesting for Rook to have to grapple with the crows' horrific practices in order to work with them (especially if they themselves are a crow) but instead it feels like the game has just sanitized them so you have a cool edgy (but not evil!!) faction to work with

good news!! instead of the distended, entire night-lasting, low, looming sense of fear I’ve had since I started listening to TMA, last night I instead experienced about a minute and thirty second period of pure, espresso-shot terror!! I was incredibly certain that at any moment I would be stabbed or suffocated and completely certain that there was someone in my room!!
the rest of the night was an easy comfy feeling. pretty good trade off tbh cause I could actually sleep with my night light off!!
