Say what you want about Parisians celebrating Gabriel for killing Gabriel or whatever, but honestly whenever I think about the fact that Gabriel died with the last memory of his son being Adrien sobbing and crying and pleading “mom would hate what you’re doing” and desperately trying to get away from him, and his last memory with Nathalie was of her literally attempting to murder him with a crossbow, I feel soooooooo good.

He died knowing the only two living people he had a semblance of care for despised him.

“I am finished.”

“You're not.”

“McGonagall is going to take my Head Girl badge away.”

Lily was looking straight ahead, and if the circumstances had been different he would have thought that she was just enjoying the view from the Astronomy tower, but she was avoiding his gaze.

“Oh, come on, she only saw you smoke, and she didn't say a word. And, she's seen me doing worse things.”

She shook her head. “You should have seen the look on her face! And it's different, James... No offence, but you're not risking much. You're a pureblood.”

“McGonagall isn't.”

Her head turned so fast that he was afraid she got whiplash. “What?”

“Her dad's a muggle. And you know she doesn't care about that stuff. It's our first week back and you're just nervous, I get it, but you're overthinking this. Plus, it's not like it was, you know... pot,” he whispered the last word, shooting her a knowing look.

“I don't know what you're referring to.”

She had a great poker face, he had to admit it.

“Mmh. I probably just dreamt that you were high as a hippogriff this summer at my house.”

“Yes.”

“And I must have imagined you trying to ride Sirius's bike, right?”

The left corner of her mouth turned up, and a dimple appeared. “You have a creative mind, what can I say?”

“Lily,” he admonished her.

“James,” her chin high in defiance, a challenge in her eyes.

He raised one eyebrow, and that was all it took to break both of them. Her laugh was loud and bright, and she had regained that mischievous glint in her eyes.

He recovered first and, still smiling, leaned on the railing again, looking at her out of the corner of his eye.

“You know, I broke into Minnie's office once. I'm 96% sure she has a secret stash of catnip and if she catches you while you're high, I'll get that for you so you can blackmail her.”

“Ah, my knight in shining armour.”

- has literally never felt a kind touch

- is full of a need to control but doesn't have the memories that make exerting his own power satisfying so he lives in a constant state of frustration

- physically and functionally in his early thirties but only has two years of actual memories and experience (all negative)

- has no real rights because he's a clone

- kind of an asshole so he has no friends

I just can’t help but think just how brutally evil Gabriel was all the way to the end and even after his death. 

That he still chose to make Marinette suffer by placing this obligation on her tiny shoulders that she SHOULDN’T have had to carry and that he got away scot free without having to face any of the true consequences of his actions. 

That he still chose to keep his son deceived till the end and take away the closure that Adrien deserved to have after all those years of suffering under the same rooftop as him. And that if Adrien were to find out the truth, Gabriel wouldn’t even be there to deal with the confrontation.

Gabriel Agreste is such a cruel, cruel man.

Figured we'd make a stance on this now that things have come out.

We had already distanced ourselves from making tmc content for a couple months now but this has hammered in us not touching or further pursuing creating TMC content as of today.

Its unfortunate our AUs will be left abandoned because of this but we'll keep whats current up alone as a) this art blog does act as a portfolio for our art and b) its already been up for a time and the AUs are still their own thing even if they have been or are attached to TMC.

Furthermore, FUCK ALEX. Fuck what he did to StirringJuice and everyone else who were harmed because of his selfish and horrible actions.

What he did was disgusting and that man doesn't deserve his platform. May he rot for what he did to so many people that even included his fucking fans as well!
