been tracking down the danish dub of the original pokémon series for preservation purposes (and because it rules) and I think the fact that only danish kids got to hear this incredibly milf-y rendition of team rocket might be some kind of psy-op to make the rest of the world’s children less gay

Sketched out a full Paldea Pokémon team for Team Rocket, though Gimmighoul, Tinkaton and Munkidori are loosely associated with the group. Gimmighoul and Tinkaton are both associated with James’ bottle caps, though Gimmighoul screws around with the trio’s limited finances more.

Post Championship Ash that wants to join a local contest but he wants to play and win fairly without his reputation, so he enters under the alias Ashley Ato so he isn't recognized. He tries to disguise himself, but sucks at makeup and clothing and is very unfamiliar to how to construct a contest routine, so eventually, he gets help from team rocket out of pity.

Team rocket initially stumbled upon ash by pure coincidence while he was making a conest routine and immediately recognized him through his crappy disguise. they heavily critique and roast his routine and disguise, and after doing so, they were like "okay let us show you how it's done because this is sad"

they then disguise him as Ashley better this time and Jessie kinda coaches him to have a better routine. He enters and surprisingly wins. He initially was going to end it at that but Jessies like "no you're actually not bad so you can't quit now" and so they encourage him to join the contest in viridian city. They trio join him as his contests mentors and helpers, trying to convince themselves they're doing it to get the chance to catch pikachu for real (they're lying)

Jessie is his coach, James helps him get into disguise, meowth is his manager, and wobbafett is his self assigned bodyguard (no one told him to do anything he just wanted to be there)

anyway team rocket and ash found family is real no other opinion is correct

NEW REALLY DUMB HEADCANON:

Meowth has a semi-secret blog that Jessie and James don't know about, but the rest of Team Rocket follows because he updates the blog daily with stories of the various antics that the three get up to. (With a little exaggeration of their great prowess, of course)

It includes pictures, polls, pretty much everything you'd expect from a blog, but it just happens to be run by a talking cat.

Such polls include things like, "What should we try today? Pitfall, nets, or a bazooka? We're in a classic mood!" and, "Do you think these two idiots are ever gonna smooch?"

At one point he muses about whether or not James is poisonous after having been poisoned so many times. Some commenter jokes that he should lick him to test it, so meowth puts up a poll.

To his horror, the poll is an overwhelming "YES", but he's the one who put up that poll up in the first placeand he's a natural born performer, so he's GOTTA give the people what they want, and he does it.

The next post is an update on Jessie and James reaction to the lick, which was of course to freak out and scream at him asking if he's lost his mind, but it just sort of... cuts off with no ending-

The post after that is an update from the Pokémon Center, where apparently Meosth had to be treated for poison. He muses that he hopes whatever happened with James wears off soon,because he's pretty sure if the two idiots ever DO smooch, poor Jessie's just gonna drop dead.
